The service was great she was patient and helped us to make our orders. The aguas frescas were so delicious that even the agua de pepino was a surprise going beyond with the tajin on the cup. They also have sodas and kids juices. The food was great I just believe the meats tasted either the same or cooked in the same place or needed to be switched to make the other food taste even better. For example the Al pastor tasted exactly the same as the chorizo. The grilled chicken on my sope should of been on the enchiladas instead and that tinga chicken should be on the sopes. Everything else was good it was tasty. They have 4 servings on different kind of salas on your like. They are in constant contact if your need anything else. You order before you get seated. Charly's is a top-three Mexican restaurant in NWA. It's super divey, but the food quality and value makes Charly's a must visit. First of all, I should say that I've been to my fair share of taquerias in Springdale - 15 of them to be exact. I'm completely comfortable going to a restaurant where almost no English is spoken and the food is strictly Mexican (not Tex Mex), but for those who have only been to English speaking or Tex Mex restaurants, Charly's is a great place to introduce you to the wonderful world of taquerias. You'll find menu items you're familiar with, but there are also items you won't find in Tex Mex restaurants that are really delicious. I'm a huge fan of Charly's meats. Their asada might be my favorite in the area. Their guacamole is also a favorite of mine. Their tortillas probably rank somewhere in the middle for me as far as NWA taquerias go, but the overall quality of their food compensates for this. The restaurant is always clean, and the staff has always been friendly and helpful. It's definitely a dive, so the atmosphere is cool but laid back. So I am a 100% Mexican and this place was OK but I felt like my meat was too thick and then they make handmade corn tortillas and they felt like they were not fresh and they were like thicker than normal. I had the strawberry horchata and the carne tacos. Id like to state that I had 4 tacos and the total came out to be $10. I would also like to add that they don't do 99¢ tacos, which I wish they had. The strawberry horchata was ok and the steak tacos were ok as well. The inside of the taqueria isn't really up to par but overall it was an okay experience. We went pretty late around 9:00 and there were no customers. They do have chocolate covered strawberries that I want to try out though! read more

Lunch for 2. Charly's is a fast casual where you order at the window and they give you a number at your table. The place was busy with the line all they way to the door and people kept coming in! They had a very wide variety foods with easy to order pictures and prices on the wall. The dining area was clean and the service was good. I ordered chicken flautas and my friend ordered 2 big tacos. The food came out quick considering the full house. It was plated well and the food looked mostly fresh. I say mostly fresh because the cilantro and lettuce looked like they've been sitting out for a bit - hence the minus one star. The beans were the best beans I've ever had and the rice was nice and fluffy. I would definitely come back here again when I'm in the area. read more

It's a nice feel, nothing to nice which is what I like, but it's not a self-service either, the waitress' that we have had are always extremely nice! Their number has changed if you're trying to call! 4793657363 Hands down best tacos in NWA! It really doesn't get more authentic than this. The al pastor is roasted on a spit all day and shaved off directly onto a savory corn tortilla. Mouth watering. I've tried a lot of their other foods like the Torta and Menudo and they are really good as well, but it's hard to beat the tacos. The staff is friendly and speaks English enough to make you feel comfortable if you are not bilingual. They also have some yummy desserts! I adore this place! The homemade horchata and strawberry agua fresca are to die for and that's before you slather everything in sight with their salsa verde. I went in for breakfast to try the place out before I took my spouse and the woman running the register was amazingly helpful. She let me sample drinks and gave me a rundown of the menu after I'd ordered the taco combo (#4). Squeezing lime on everything is my favorite way to dig into tacos. I can't stop talking about their pork tacos which are served with pineapple wedges. The meat is cooked with a spice rub with cinnamon in it which might sound strange but you have to try it. They offer plenty of options for picky eaters too, which was perfect for my spouse who is a pescatarian. Day or night, eat here. It's affordable, delicious, and everyone is incredibly friendly. Best Tacos in NWA! I go to Springdale just to eat at Charly's. It is definitely authentic Mexican food. Not your chain restaurant variety. Tacos a la carte with your choice of juicy meat filling at a great price, including lengua and tripas. I usually go for the barbacoa, carne asada, or grilled chicken tacos. The Tortas (big Mexican style sandwhich) are fantastic too. They have bottled Jarritos (Mexican sodas), canned sodas, and Aguas Frescas as drink options. On the weekends, menudo is available. I think I've seen caldo de res on the menu too. Its also nice to be able to pick up a paleta de hielo on the way out for dessert. They are fruity ice pops, Mexican style. read more
