The most consistent place I know. Out of countless visits for more than a decade I can only thInk 1 or 2 times I didn't leave satisfied. Everyone has a bad day once in a while. This time did not disapoint. The carne asada tacos are the same today as they were a decade ago. Another plus, they serve my most favorite beer, Dos Eqis Amber on tap and cold. This is not a luxury restaurant requiring a jacket and tie, but the food is good and reasonably priced. Went here for dinner a while back......a fantastic meal is what we experienced. My wife ordered the steak fajitas for one, which in all honesty, was enough to feed two of us. Meat was tender and juicy, and simply perfection. I chose to have the taco, enchilada, and tamale combo which was also perfection. Las Palmas is a very typical, cheap TexMex kinda place. The food is what you would expect when the time from order to table is less than three minutes. That said, it's a good option if you are hungry for Mexican food and a marg without braking the bank. if you are in town as a tourist, choose another independent restaurant nearby, there are lots. The food is OK for your typical TexMex food. However I left a tip , and whomever the server was added $3more to the tip, only discovered when I saw my transaction for this place updated and didnt coincide with the tip that was left. So I've been told this las Palma's was there best restaurant of the 3-4 they have in the area. First of all why does it seem so hot in here do you not have a decent air conditioner that works!! I ordered the taco special it consists of 3 tacos beans and rice. The only good thing about it is it's a special. Other than that the food was just nasty plus the service was non existent. Well since it is Cinco De Mayo we decide that Mexican Food was appropriate. We assumed it would be really busy but we were pleasantly surprised that it wasn't busy. We love Mexican food! Los Las Palmas doesn't cut the cake! The ground beef on my dish had no flavor and was very bland. My husband had enchiladas and they were not what he expected they were lacking flavor. We've tried many Mexican restaurants in Rogers and this is very low on our Totem Pole. Also the booth benches weren't level and rocked when we moved or the people in the adjoining booth moved. read more

I give up. This place has gone steadily downhill. The last time I went in I sent back my plate and asked for it to be heated until HOT. As in cheese totally melted, blow on it to cool, 'watch the plate'. HOT. I thought that's what Mexican restaurants served. Today I ordered a half order of chicken nachos - they were ok - and a single cheese enchilada ala carte. It was pathetic. The tortilla was still oily, but the cheese wasn't melted. And there was about a total of a tablespoon of brown, tasteless chili con carne over the top. Awful. How interested was the restaurant in my experience? I ate ONE bite out of the middle and decided it wasn't really even worth eating (pic attached). The waitress asked if I was done and took the plate when I indicated I was. She didn't ask HOW it was. The cashier did, but before I could even answer, she gave me my total and started speaking to a friend. Sorry to anyone my previous review gave hope to. We've lived in downtown Rogers for 3 years and we have definitely enjoyed the convenience of going here. However, this last year they renovated the restaurant and their prices have gone up. Took over an hour to get our food, never once go a drink refill. They forgot half our food, kept asking different servers for it because we never saw our waitress, the manager was doing his rounds asking how everything was going so I told him we were missing half our food... he said he would get it... we waited another hour and still NEVER GOT OUR FOOD! 10/10 recommend. Got the panchos plate with a side of beans (comes with asada meat and rice and a side of tortillas) and the good margarita... just needed one and got a good buzz. I just moved to NWA and this is a good place. Only thing I don't like is the darkness indoor, I requested a more lit area. I would love to give this place a better review, however the service was horrible and the food was serve cold. We wanted to let our waitress know, but we never saw her again. Raining outside but you can still enjoy lunch or dinner outside. One of the few places in NWA. Great food and service pick days and times carefully they can get very busy which can slow down your food to the table. You can eat economy here are some suggestions. A La Cart, we really like the fajita tacos a lot of filling so a lot of food without the added cost for rice and beans. I also like Ponchos Special which can be orders with beef, chicken or mixed. I typically have them add mushrooms and is enough for my wife and me. It is a bed of rice with meat over and cheese dip on top. Yummy margaritas are great order them with the tequila you want little pricy by well worth the cost. I am a fan of Las Palmas food here and in Bentonville. I cananot vouch for everything on the menu as I only order one of two things every time I go. All the way fajitas-shrimp, chicken and beef. I cannot go wrong with this order and usually will get it for "one" but share it with someone because its just a lot of food. If you do, order another setup (rice, beans, guac, pico, sour cream). My favorite is the shrimp. My other choice is fajita nachos. Each chip has beans and meat and cheese individually and you can top on guac and sour cream and jalapenos. Sometimes the chip can turn a little uncrisp but I just stick it with another chip and fix that issue. Lets face it, its not a 5 star gourmet restaurant but its damn fine mexican food for me. I always get some queso and when the chips and salsa come around, I get a mild and a hot and mix them for a perfect "warm" salsa. Take a chip, dip in cheese dip, then in salsa, eat. Repeat over and over. They have good deals on drinks and run discount specials every day. They are FAST and you rarely have to wait on food so perfect for lunch when you need to get back to work. read more

My boyfriend and I usually love this restaurant, but tonight we had a more than unpleasant experience. We went to pay, and no one in the restaurant had any idea how to use their gift cards. The "server" was rude and had no solution for the situation. She said there was only 1 cashier who worked there and he wasn't there. Of the hundreds of thousands of Mexican restaurants in the NWA area, Las Palmas is by far my favorite. The prices are right and the service is friendly and speedy. The food taste and quality is above standard compared to Acambaro (#1 thru #98,000) and Maria's (#1 thru #300,000) and astronomically better than Las Fajitas, who I am convinced runs down to Wal-Mart mart at about 9 a.m. and buys some El Paso brand pre-packaged frozen food to heat up in the microwave before the lunch rush. Back to our story... Las Palmas offers a cozy atmosphere and it can be loud at dinner, especially when the Mariachi band kicks in. I typically order the carne asada tacos for my meal and wash it down with a 44 ounce big gulp draft beer served in a mug that looks like an elephant's foot. The salsas are fantastic and the portions are perfect. Just writing the review has me jonesing for a trip to downtown Rogers. Los Palmas serves the best Mexican food in Arkansas. This is a regular haunt for us and every dish we've tried is great but their fajitas are just off the charts. Las Palmas is among the best in Northwest Arkansas Mexican cuisine. The quality and value are a big hit for the Rogers downtown area. My favorite is the #20 Tacos Al Carbon (steak tacos). The #20 is a mix of fajita spicy flavor and burrito tastiness. The service is consistent and the beer is cold! Always a friendly atmosphere which sometimes includes a live solo guitarist/singer. Ordered chicken fajitas without rice and beans online to be delivered. Almost 30 minutes after the scheduled delivery time the food showed up. The order was missing the tortillas. When I called the restaurant the guy who answered the phone never thought it was his responsibility to offer an apology, but only excuses. First he said he didn't make the food, secondly he tried to blame the missing item on the delivery driver and said the delivery service was horrible to work with and lastly he said "people who don't order rice and beans don't want the tortillas". I've seen him be less than cordial to customers while I was in the restaurant on other occasions so I guess it's his normal demeanor to not care about customer service. read more

We walked in and were waiting to be seated. Everyone was masked up except for one guy. His mask was around his neck. Watched him wipe his palm all the way across his mouth and then go handle several bottles from a beer fridge. When he walked back by I asked him why he wasn't wearing a mask. I have been coming here with my family since i was a little girl and the food was always great and still is. I wish the service was a lot better. I was given a dirty table and then when i ask to sit at a different table the host (with an attitude) stormed over to another table, cleaned it and rush off before we even sat. Our waitress wasn't better. She gave us the same attitude and completely ignored us through out the meal. I love this place! A few of us were coming back from Kansas City and decided to stop in Rogers to eat lunch. We wanted to eat at Rolando's; however, they were closed. We decided to walk across the street and try Las Palmas for the first time. As we walked in, my party and I loved the ambiance! It reminded me of Mexican restaurants from Los Angeles and Phoenix. Who doesn't love restaurants playing Chente and baladas!? Unfortunately, it went down hill from there. A smell that I can't put my finger on was yoked with the ambiance. The smell lingered throughout our meal. Our party (three people) ordered the carne asada and the bandera enchiladas. Both dishes were absolutely horrible. The carne asada was rubbery and lacked seasoning not to mention the wrong cut of meat for carne asada! In regard to the enchiladas, I guess I forgot that the Mexican flag was red, white, & brown. It tasted like the enchiladas were nuked in the microwave. In fact, some of the enchilada's cheese was still uncooked though the outside was hot. All in all, I strongly suggest staying away from this place. There are much better places in NWA for Mexican food. read more
