The place was BUSY; music vibing, people laughing, energy flowing. It gave grown, fun, outside energy without being chaotic. The seafood? Fresh, flavorful, and hitting every time. Everything came out right and tasted like it was made with love. And let's talk about Shemmarr He was AMAZING. Attentive, on top of everything, and had the kind of happy, positive attitude that makes you want to stay longer and order another round. Customer service like that is rare. We always go for the "Shovel," their most expensive seafood bag, so we know what it's supposed to look like. This time around, I went in with a birthday coupon they had just emailed me a few days before. A(My birthday was on July 12th). When I tried to use it, they told me they no longer use that system. Even after I showed them the email, they still refused to honor it. No apology, no effort to make it right. I ordered a create-your-own bag with snow crab, corn, eggs, potatoes, and sausage -- and thankfully, everything was in there. But my mom ordered the Atlantic bag, which is supposed to come with two pounds of crab legs. What she got were four broken pieces. When we brought it to their attention, they tried to argue with us, even after looking at the bag. After going back and forth for five minutes, the owner finally took the bag back, and then brought it back with 2 full clusters of crab. This isn't the first time we've had issues with takeout from here. It feels like something is always missing or off. After being loyal customers for years, we're disappointed and won't be returning. The food is good, but the service and inconsistency just aren't worth it anymore.

Which 2 tables pushed together takes up less space than 2 apart. The back room was full of empty tables. A business model to stay in business means you turn tables. I'm not sure how leaving the tables empty and not seating helps to keep you in business. Had we left, our waitress would be out $60 tip and the restaurant out $300. Luckily we had Barbara who we had in the past and is a breath of fresh air for the start of our experience. She is such a friendly waitress and helpful.
