The service was very pleasant and efficient. The ambiance is all ocean themed a bit kitschy and dated but in a homey kinda way. We ordered NE clam chowder. Excellent. Thick n loaded Fried clam strips. The batter was excellent the clams were very tender and their double dipped fries are light n crispy. The steamed cod was very good. The crab cake was a little different more like a mush but tasted really good, Edamame was plain but with salt we fixed it and HOT, the way I like, we also got mozzarella sticks and those were also impressive. With such good appetizers we really thought the seafood boil was going to be as good but we couldn't really eat it, the fish smell coming from the bag made my kid lose her appetite and my husband felt sick all the way home, we got shrimp, kielbasa, a single small lobster tail hard to carve and we think the mini sea scallops were to strong and fishy , i asked the waitress if the corn could be cut because it was whole so she gave us a knife to do it on the table and the knife couldn't even cut the air because it was dull.. I took the food home because I was not going to leave $60+ sitting there. At home I rinse it and the amount of garlic in that soho special sauce was astronomical. The restaurant was clean and the waitress really friendly but the seafood boil was not as good

We decided to sit inside for a relaxed dinner with the piano background music. Our appetizer were really good , everything served on time and our waiter Kj was awesome, so patient and friendly. The main course was hot and served on time, the only thing I didn't like was the tomahawk was already cut and the hot plate was cooking it which it was served blue losing the experience and wondering if we actually got the entire thing . We had to send it back to be cooked to medium. The rest of our food was delicious, my daughter loved the Mac and cheese so much that we ordered extra to bring home. We were able to go to the patio where a band was playing and they sang the happy birthday to her, made her feel special. At the end of our nights she got a special treat from the Kj and again sang happy birthday. Thank you for this marvelous time. We will definitely come back.

The servers are very friendly and helpful with explaining the menu so you figure out what you might want. They start you with freshly baked bread with butter and black salt. It's delicious! I've had many things from their menu. The Cobb salad has been my favorite. You can get it with your choice of protein. Everything is fresh. They have half-price bottles of wine on Sunday and Monday, which is definitely a plus. Their desserts are definitely big enough to share. The deviled eggs are my favorite appetizer. They sprinkle Frito crumbs on them chefs kiss! If you go, make sure you use the restroom because they have speakers in there and it's like your own little private dance party! I love trying new taco spots, so instead of driving to my favorite place in Meriden, I decided to…read moregive Taqueria a try. We ordered a variety of tacos so we could sample a little bit of everything. I had the al pastor tacos, I also ordered chorizo tacos, one of my sons ordered the birria tacos, and my other son chose the chicken tacos. The first thing I noticed was how fresh the tortillas were. They were soft, flavorful, and tasted homemade, which really elevated each taco. Overall, the tacos were fresh and enjoyable, but I found myself wanting a little more seasoning and bolder flavor. The al pastor was good, but I think a stronger marinade or more spice would have made it stand out more. The chorizo tacos, which are usually spicy, didn't really have that heat I was expecting. My son enjoyed the birria tacos, but we both agreed the consommé was milder than expected. When I tried the broth, it tasted a bit bland compared to others I've had. My other son liked his chicken tacos but said he just wanted more. The restaurant was clean, the service was friendly, and it's a convenient local option when you're craving tacos. Would I come back? Yes. I enjoyed the meal and would return to try other items on the menu. My only suggestion would be a bit more bold seasoning and heat across the board. The fresh tortillas and overall quality are strong. It just needs a little more flavor punch to really stand out. In my opinion.
