Enjoyed our first visit to Cafe Fiore. Early enough (5 pm) to enjoy Happy Hour pricing on several items. The arancini was crispy on the outside and very flavorful. The garlic knots were excellent!! I enjoyed my arugula salad with sliced almonds, cranberries and Parmesan cheese. My daughter said her linguini with broccoli was delicious and my husband enjoyed his lasagna bolognese. The servers were very attentive and food came out quick. Would definitely eat here again!

First time at Cafe Fiore we stopped by on a Sunday afternoon what a wonderful experience . As soon as we entered the establishment we were greeted by the staff. Super friendly and good parking. Very good Italian food. We ordered the portobello mushroom as an appetizer came out, piping hot with lots of cheese very tasty. I ordered the Veal and Shrimp with eggplant and vodka sauce nice size portion and lots a flavor not to mention you get a salad with your meal, which is always a plus. My husband ordered the Veal Fiore with fresh tomatoes the Veal was tender and cooked to perfection. Very clean atmosphere. Decorated very nice . Nice place to take a date , quiet atmosphere.

Lovely decor. White tablecloths with red dinner napkins. Atmosphere was casual . Our group was able to hold a conversation easily. Ice water was filled several times during the dinner. They brought out a large bowl with hot garlic knots . Delicious flavor and soft bread. Nice salad was served with every entree. I ordered veal parmigiana which had great flavor as well as a large portion .

I absolutely love the bread here and the Mushrooms Ravioli is amazing. This place is great. They have indoor and outdoor seating and it's really nice inside. The service was great. My water was filled on point each time the drinks were great too.

Cafe Fiore is one of my favorite places to eat. They have a decent sized dining room and a huge bar area. It's been newly renovated. They have ample parking. They start you off with a bowl of garlic knots. These are hands down the BEST garlic knots I've ever had! I always order their Chicken Genovese. It's fried thinly sliced eggplant, a layer of tomatoes then lastly chicken breast. It's served over top of pasta with a creamy pesto sauce. It comes with a side salad and their balsamic dressing is very good. Their prices are reasonable. Our server was very attentive and they were pretty busy the night I went but she still checked in often.

Came here for a wedding. Appetizer, stuff mushrooms and clams were the best. Main course fish lemon butter sauce, outstanding, ziti good along with the eggplant. All the food was very tasty. Wipe up everything with their knots. Service very good, parking a challenge .

I went to a event dinner at cafe Fiore yesterday and for a Tuesday it was packed the parking was full , thankfully the restaurant is located in a plaza so there's still plenty of parking . Walking in the place is very nice plenty of lightening clean and with a modern chic vibe. The staff was amazing and our waiter was phenomenal! He greeted us with a smile made sure he wrote everything down and did not make a single mistake and was very pleasant ! We started with a red sangria which was great , perfectly balanced for me ( not too sweet and not to bitter ) . Next we were served the house garlic parm bread ... and it was amazing I ate 3 rolls ( no regrets ) and I took some home and reheated it was still so soft and delicious ! Highly recommend the bread ! For appetizers we were served calamari which was a little underwhelming as it was a little dry , but with the marinara sauce it was okay . The mozzarella sticks were good. The clams came with bacon and if you like clams they were really good , however my favourite was the mushrooms ( these mushrooms were huge but cooked to perfection ) . For entres we got the eggplant with ricotta , chicken parm and cafe Fiore pasta . The eggplant ricotta was cooked perfectly , the chicken was a little dry . But the pasta which was like a twist on penne à la vodka ... was my favourite it was absolutely delicious !!! I mostly ate the pasta ( I had seconds even though I was stuffed .. but I just couldn't stop eating it ) highly recommend the cafe fiore pasta ! For dessert we were served tiramisu which was delicious as well ! Can't wait to come back and try some different dishes!

Definitely not my 1st time here. I ordered the full meal as I missed the HH by a few minutes arriving late. Actually you get the pasta and salad with it for $5 more than on the HH special. Definitely worth every penny as it's consistently always good. Never had I had a bad meal here. I usually sit at the bar for the specials. I didn't get any drinks but usually I do the espresso martini. The ambiance is very warm and comforting no matter where you seat.

Upon recommendation, I visited the Cafe Fiore Restaurant because I was looking for a GOOD Italian restaurant option in Cromwell. Right off Route 9, along Route 372, Cafe Fiore has its own parking lot parking in front of a larger shopping plaza near the Walmart in Cromwell. I went in for a late lunch with my two daughters (pre-teen and a sleeping baby). The restaurant inside has a very classic upscale look, and I felt a little under dressed after coming from an outdoor charity event, but it wasn't an issue. There was plenty of seating (they have both indoor and outdoor), and we chose to eat inside at a booth, and the staff was very welcoming. We both got Chicken Parmigana off the menu. The sauce that Cafe Fiore makes is a sweeter sauce. It caught me off guard, but I quite enjoyed it and thought it was delicious. I'll be back the next time I'm in the area and looking for some yummy Italian food.

I visited Cafe Fiore with my mom on a Friday night. It was very busy and we didn't make a reservation but they were still able to accommodate us. Our waitress was nice and attentive. I ordered the cucumber cooler (gin cocktail) and it was refreshing and tasty. They provided free garlic knots as the bread for the table that were buttery and delicious. We also ordered fried mozzarella and Caesar salad which had the perfect amount of dressing. For entree, I ordered the chicken parm with vodka sauce and my mom got the sole francaise (lemon fish fillet). Both were SO GOOD. I love that both the chicken and the fish melted in my mouth and the portion sizes were big. For dessert we got the crème brûlée and the cheesecake. It wasn't the best dessert I ever had, but it was still good. I would highly recommend eating at Cafe Fiore!!

The good- their lomo Saltado and chaufa are spot on and delicious. Their pollo ala brasa is my kids favorite and we regularly order it on Wednesdays when they do their special. Everyone is very friendly but all don't speak English great (luckily my husband is Spanish so we always manage). We have been longtime customers- back to when they were under a different name (flavor point) and across the other side of Meriden. The cons- prices have gone up and portions seem much smaller. My lomo last time barely had any steak. The last time we went for 2 adults and 2 kids (one who only ate a side of rice) it was well over $100 before tip- no apps just meals and 2 drinks. There is no kids menu and nothing they can do to accommodate so you are buying your 2-5 year old a $20 meal they will eat a few bites of . Their pollo ala brasa is not always available- which I get but weekends I feel like it should be and we have gone twice now and had it be unavailable. my son will literally not eat anything else on the menu (as noted no kids options either). He had to sit there and not eat while we ate and get him food from across the way afterwards. One time we got the ceviche and I know the lime juice cooks the fish (believe me I eat ceviche regularly as well as sushi) and this fish was raw. I mentioned it to the waitress and she said it was fine. I couldn't eat it. But still had to pay for the dish which is high priced for the small serving. Cute atmosphere but small so can fill up quickly. Careful in bathroom , had gone a few times and almost fell from slick floor. It was clean but slick- maybe what they're using to clean it.

Something about the sign aesthetic made me think it would be a good place. I Yelp-Searched it, and Lima 32 damn near had a perfect rating based on less than 50 reviews. I'm a Food Blogger. So I try to explore new places and avoid repeating spots I know. I've eaten at Lima 32 three times since January. Lima 32 is a small casual Peruvian spot located in a very small plaza in Meriden. Parking is tough, but they've done a nice job with the aesthetics inside. Lima 32 is also available on DoorDash within a certain area. I've now had the Lomo Saltado, the Arroz Con Marisco and the Chaufa de Pollo. Best Lomo Saltado I've ever had, and I've had a really expensive one at a famous CT spot. It's basically a beef and veggie stir fry. You can see the chef making it with fire in the pan if you have the right seat. The soy and oyster sauce based glaze is good salty. So flavorful and everything is perfectly cooked. Best Arroz Con Marisco I've ever had. It's a saucy Peruvian paella. The sauce (Aji Amarillo) has a well rounded creamy pepper flavor. The seafood, like crab, mussels and shrimp really stand out. I suspect the seafood varies depending on what's available. The Chaufa de Pollo, a Chinese fried rice style dish, was very good too. Huge pieces of chicken. Eat it with the delicious Aji Verde sauce. Is Lima 32 hidden? I don't know. But it sure the hell is a gem. It's must visit. 5 Stars

Inside, the tables are simply yet tastefully decorated with candles throughout, creating a cozy atmosphere. Even the bathrooms were thoughtfully decorated and adorable and no detail was overlooked. They offer a great variety of seating options, including bar seating, high top tables, standard height tables, and window seating, so you can really choose the vibe you are going for. During the winter, they even have lit igloos outside so you can stay warm while sitting by the river, which is such a unique touch. My waitress was also tending bar, yet she remained prompt and attentive the entire time. She gave me space to look over the menu without making me feel rushed, but never disappeared long enough for me to wonder where she was. Even as it got busy, she handled everything seamlessly. The service was excellent. However, I honestly wish I could say the food lived up to the atmosphere, because the ambiance definitely sets high expectations. I ordered the short rib risotto and would probably give it a 6 out of 10. The risotto itself was fine but could have used more flavor, maybe something earthy like mushrooms to bring it together. The short rib was cooked well, but it lacked the depth of flavor I was hoping for. Overall, the dish did not quite come together as a cohesive plate. It was not bad by any means, it just felt like it was missing something. I also ordered the Italian Gabagool Sub with salami, capicola, mortadella, provolone, lettuce, tomato, roasted garlic, olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper. It had all the right components and sounded amazing on paper, but it ended up tasting fairly bland. Typically an Italian sub has bold dressings and seasoning that really make it pop, and this one just did not quite hit that mark. Honestly, the fries and pickle were probably the standout items food wise.
