    Carne Asada Fries
    J P.

We got the Mexican menu, it's BYOB (bring your own beer and wine), everything we had was solid; carne asada fries, 3 tacos & the kids quesadilla. Tacos have a lot of meat. We lived in California for 5 years and this is as close to authentic Tijuana style tacos we've had in this area. Don't forget to ask for the green salsa! We'll be back for sure.

We stopped in for breakfast. Very happy with the service & food. They're very accommodating and friendly. Food came out very quickly too! Would come again for sure

We came for the first time recently and had a very nice dinner. None of us had pizza so obviously, we'll have to come back. My BLT was perfect, light crispy roll, just the right amount of bacon, nicely cooked and fresh veggies with shredded lettuce. My father-in-law got a grilled ham and cheese, as advertised, and it must have hit the spot because he finished every bite. My husband had the fried chicken dinner and could barely finish it. It was quiet inside on a Tuesday evening with a steady number of take-out clients, our waitress was super nice, and the prices were very reasonable. Now we have to go have some pizza! haha

Crispy chicken sandwich. No crisp at all
    Leonardo D.

Popped in for lunch and ordered a crispy chicken sandwich on a hard roll. Very disappointed with the quality chicken in the sandwich. The chicken was from a frozen patty that had no crisp at all, and had the consistency you'd expect from processed chicken meat. I was expecting a fresh chicken breast, with a golden crispy breading crust, and tender juicy white meat, that was fried to perfection. It would have made this sandwich a winner because the other ingredients were quite good - nice hard roll, and fresh toppings with the side of pickle. Too many good reviews for this place to bad? I'd like to give these folks another go, but order something else. I like to think I ordered the wrong item.

This place has been around forever and stays open because of the outstanding food and super friendly staff / owner. First of all, it's hands down the best onion rings around. These are light and fluffy onion straws that I sometimes find at shoreline seafood restaurants, but wouldn't expect to have at a Greek pizza place in Colchester. I love their gyros and salads. I have not been in for breakfast but they serve it later into the day. I know they offer French toast stuffed with cream cheese and strawberries and I hear it's delicious. Big menu with lots of interesting dishes I have never seen before (such as kielbasa and pierogies with eggs on the breakfast menu). They also have a decent beer selection as well as wine. Prices are very affordable considering the large portion sizes. Prepare to bring home a to-go container!

There are plenty of cozy places to sit both inside and outside, and today they even had a musician performing on the patio, which made for such a relaxing atmosphere. We ordered breakfast and iced coffee from the café. The Brown Sugar Maple Croissant Breakfast Sandwich was absolutely delicious! Even though the café was very busy, the ordering line moved quickly, and they brought our drinks and food right to our table--a really nice touch. We also stopped by the bakery. Even later in the morning, there was still a great selection of baked goods. We brought home strawberry lemonade muffins to enjoy tomorrow, and I can't wait to try them. The general store was filled with adorable locally made products, along with a nice selection of take-and-bake meals that we'll definitely be coming back for. The entire property is thoughtfully designed with charming little seating areas scattered throughout. It's the kind of place where you want to slow down, relax, and spend a while exploring. One tip: the front parking lots are small, but there's a much larger parking area in the back. This is definitely a new favorite for us, and we'll be back again soon!

Truly, the cocktails and menu at this restaurant are so inventive and flavor packed it feels as if there has to be something supernatural happening in the kitchen and behind the bar. We came here in early May and sat at the bar. Dillon took great care of us, walked us through the menu and made stellar recommendations all around. After having my mind blown by the Everything Bagel Martini, we moved on to share the charred octopus and Leggy's Thighs. The charred octopus was tender, and paired so well with the citrus fruits on this plate, plus the bite of pistachios?! So well put together. Leggy's thighs (RIP Leggy) were literally the best chicken I'd ever had, fall off the bone tender and topped off with flavorful furikake and hot pickled fresno chilis. We also split the Wagyu sando which I'm literally still thinking about. Wagyu on milkbread?! What an excellent idea. Live acoustic music was going on the night we were here which really added to the cozy ambiance. They also have trivia here on Thursdays (Dillon, if you're reading this, we hope your team wins the championship). 10/10 no notes. Come here if you can get a table.

No matter, we were there before 11AM so we were served breakfast. The server we had was excellent she was a former employee of the Coffee Break which was the old restaurant in this location. The place is LOUD. The decor is new and refreshed. There is NO WHEEL CHAIR ACCESS (which surprised me as they just renovated the place. One would think the Town of Clinton would have required it.) I had the Breakfast Wrap with sausage and american cheese. It was good and filling. $7.00 (in May 2026) My companion had the Quinoa Omelette pictured 1/2 eaten ($14.75 in May 2026) which was good. The home fries had a little too much salt but were otherwise excellent. Personally when there is salt actually on the table, I always wonder why the cook just lightly dusts with salt as I can add more. We also ordered a fresh fruit cup which had grapes purple and green, strawberries, and a few hard pieces of honey dew melon. $6.50 (May 2026) In May 2026 the hours are 0700-1430 MON - SAT 0700-1200 SUN ****WARNING**** They stop servicing breakfast items at 11AM They do take credit cards BUT...
