Dawn D.

Got the gluten free Vangough pizza Has bacon, potatoes, broccoli, scallions and Alfredo sauce. Was delicious absolutely the best gluten-free specialty pizza I ever had. Will definitely be back for this. I had the tenders and fries I liked them very much Setvice was great she was very attentive and it was very busy in here.

We came for the 1st time to try it. I got the Parmesan broiled haddock. My daughter got the chicken…read moreparm. (Gluten free fre We sat outside as the weather was perfect. There was live music, an older man singing and playing the piano. He was ok, The waitress seemed very friendly. Ok my fish was delicious the potatoes augratin and the summer squash was really delicious. Her chicken was very dry and very thin. Some pieces were just breading, she said it was still good and very few places have gluten free chicken parm, so she was still very happy. I wish I had my camera with me when I went to the ladies room. It was so cute. We will come back again. The zitis that came with her chicken were so good. For desert we had. The pistachio ricotta and she had the gluten free chocolate cake. Oh wow my pistachio ricotta was so good. Hers was ok. Gluten free deserts are never delicious usually just good or edible. It's a pricy place. I will be back again.

Since their website suggests reservations, I guess I assumed it's a fancy date spot. It's not. It's one big room with tables along the perimeter, and every time the door opened, we were hit with a blast of cold air. The bar is located in the same room, with just a low partition separating the areas. The polenta fries were the star of the show; not a trace of grease and served with two dipping sauces. The meals were surprising. We were expecting pasta and received potatoes and vegetables. The chicken piccata was heavily acidic. I like lemon, but this was a bit much. Service was friendly and I guess I'd return if I was in the area, but I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to visit again.

Updated review after new ownership. Do not let the good reviews from previous owners fool you…read more There is certainly potential here, but after my third take-out order I am left disappointed again and I will not be trying again. The staff are not friendly whatsoever and I felt like I was inconveniencing them by picking up my food. Every time the food took way longer than I was told. I don't mind waiting, but just tell me not to come for longer so I'm not sitting there waiting. This last time they told me 35 minutes and it took 65 minutes so I was sitting in the dining room for 30 minutes waiting. They For food, there is potential. The first time I ordered the birria. The flavors of the meat were wonderful, and the portion size was generous, but the tacos were very greasy/soggy. Maybe because I got them to go... The second time I ordered a small al pastor pizza. The pictures they posted on Facebook looked delicious. But mine came without the onions or cilantro which was a bit disappointing. Third time I ordered a birria pizza which took over an hour and was very undercooked. I was hoping the new owners would do well but I don't see that happening and unfortunately do NOT recommend this place.

The new owner is as so pleasant and welcoming…read more He had added authentic Mexican food to their menu and it's AMAZING The sign outside left us skeptical saying there was Mexican food at an Italian restaurant but oh made sense once we walked in! New ownership with the hopes of bringing the Mexican menu as the main (I'd assume) eventually. The rice and fried beans were authentic, real, fresh and made with love. We had three tacos and the enchiladas. Everything was clearly made From scratch from a chef who knows the true art of this cuisine. He mentioned hoping to get his liquor license in the next few months, adding a margarita to this meal would have been a cherry on top of the already amazing dishes we had! If you are an customer of the past who ordered pizza from here DO YOURSELF a favor and order off the Mexican menu!!!!!! We can't wait to go back!
