My parents have been taking me to Tony's Pizza my entire life. It feels like home when you walk in the door. The memories from childhood come flooding back. Now going there with my kids is so meaningful. Don't be in a rush, take you time and enjoy the atmosphere of this family run business. They are filled with heart and appreciation for your support of their business. The food is always consistent, the staff is always pleasant and the leftovers will be enjoyed tomorrow.

Wasn't to hungry tonight so I settled on a plain cheese pizza from Tony's. It was delicious and still hot by the time I got it home. I have not yet had a bad food from here. If you're in the area and looking for a delicious pizza this is the place to go.

Pretty run of the mill pizza joint when you walk in. Friendly service, plenty of booth seating. Not a fan of the "I can get this at every pizza place" type pizza. Wasn't anything I'd go back for but it's not something I'd ever send back. The cheeseburger grinder that we tried was good. I'd go back and try other menu items.

If you're ever in Willimantic Ct and are hungry for a pizza that takes you back to when you were a kid. This is the place. Family owned and run. Walking in you smell the fresh pizzas coming out of the oven and a place that time has forgotten, which is a good thing.service was excellent and price was just right. So what are you waiting for head out now and get you a delish pizza.

The best. Greek pizza. Family owned and operated. The best pizza. The best. Best ever. Get the hint?

My 3rd time eating here, and as always been happy with my food. Definitely bringing back old Willimantic Flavor. This what a SAMICH looks like .

It was the best pizza we've had in a long time. Lots of fresh mushrooms and vegetables.

Trigo Wood Fired Pizza

Trigo Wood Fired Pizza

Parking: street spots and also spots behind building as well…read more Decor: was suspect from the outside with a dark older brick facade but inside was done up right with a great paint color combo and open pizza area. Maybe some better lighting but a very nice interior with vintage grade school chairs!! Food: presented well and very tasty, pizza was good but had to ask for some crushed red pepper and seasonings. The beet gnocchi was excellent and the hummus was great too. The meatballs were in a skillet and were great but possibly needs more sauce Overall: 100% if in the area it's a revisit for me!!!

If you're on a pizza tour or just have a hankering for great pizza and good beer, Trigo needs to be your destination. This was my second visit in the last 12 months, and both times they delivered consistently delicious food and excellent service. You're greeted warmly with a smile, and the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The pizza here is wood fired with a thin, crispy crust with just a bit of char. Don't be surprised if you see a small burnt spot or two--that's intentional and part of the style. If you enjoy the artisan-style pizzas from places like Pepe's, Sally's, Krust, or Otto, you'll feel right at home here. Located in the somewhat unassuming (and occasionally gritty) downtown Willimantic area, Trigo is truly a hidden gem. Street parking is available, or you can park in the rear lots and walk up the alley to the front entrance. We ordered the classic red cheese pizza, which was savory, crispy, and exactly what you want from a great pie. The real standout, though, was the Lemon White pizza. It was fantastic--unique, bright, and seriously delicious. Thin slices of whole lemon are baked right into it, and they're completely edible. A drizzle of honey and a touch of chili pepper bring everything together in a really memorable way. The beer selection is solid as well. We enjoyed the Keeper's Irish Red and the Mountain Magic cider. Honestly, give Trigo a shot--you won't regret it. My only complaint? They're closed on Sundays... which is a bit of a tragedy.
