Great hidden gem! Tucked away, the Red Fox Restaurant offers an elevated dining experience without having to go very far. The menu has a great selection and the wait staff were attentive. We split the avocado and crab appetizer, then had the salmon and shrimp and scallops. All were excellent - fresh and nicely prepared.

Another exceptional evening at Red Fox. We began at the bar and took full advantage of their fantastic happy hour, enjoying $1 oysters, 75‑cent clams, and half‑price martinis made with Tito's vodka--truly one of the best happy hours around. We then moved into the dining room for dinner, where the lamb chops once again proved to be the standout dish on the menu--simply outstanding. We also enjoyed the ribeye steak and two pasta dishes, both generous in portion and full of flavor. A lovely bottle of Napa Valley wine, paired with live music and even a bit of dancing, made the evening especially memorable.Service was excellent throughout the night. Our waiter, Fico, was attentive and professional, and Manager Edo clearly runs a top‑notch team of true professionals who are at the top of their game. We will most definitely be back to this wonderful restaurant.

Enjoyed a family birthday dinner at Red Fox. We were greeted warmly upon arrival for our 6:00pm reservation and seated quickly. It was a slow Wednesday evening, but lovely. As always, food and service were great. Our waiter, Ennis, was awesome!! We enjoyed fried calamari as an appetizer. Our entrees were perfectly prepared including two NY Strips and a steak au poivre. The potato croquettes were also awesome. We will continue to go back.

We came Saturday to see Marty Q but turns out he was playing in the bar instead of the dining area where we made a reservation. Dining room had a nice ambiance so we decided to stick with our table in the restaurant. Dinner started with a really nice trio of different flavored butter. Bread was meh. I would upgrade that a bit. It was also way too much for the two of us so a bit wasteful. I got the Red Fox signature salad which was absolutely delicious. Ceasar salad looked ok. Nothing fancy or special about it. Salads are a good size. Could definitely split those. Entrees are where things went wrong. My octopus (which I had for my entree) was completely burned on the underside and the chipotle hummus listed with the dish was missing. My boyfriend got the salmon and the risotto...I felt...was not good at all. We then had to hunt down our waitress to let her know about my octopus. They brought back another one fairly quickly, but this one was mushy and could've been cooked longer. They were nice enough to take that off the bill. The menu is pretty nice so maybe I'd come back and try something else. There are so many good restaurants out there though so might be awhile before we return if at all.

I went here with a party of 17 and they were really accommodating. We did have a reservation so definitely need to make one for large groups like that. Surprisingly no one's order was messed up with such a big group which was wonderful. All the food that we tried was delicious including the Red Fox salad which was delightfully refreshing, the buffalo chicken balls, and the calamari which was crispy but not drenched in oil. For the meals, I tried the blackened chicken fettuccine which was a large portion and absolutely delicious! The chicken and beef tips over mashed potatoes were also delicious. The tiramisu for dessert was really great, and often I don't like tiramisu but this one was really creamy and delightful. There is a good amount of parking and a bar area if you prefer bar seating. They also have a patio in the warm months. Overall, I'd go here again!

Came here for happy hour with my sister to celebrate her moving to Connecticut. I had heard good things about this restaurant so finally found the opportunity to try it. We sat at a table by the bar and got a few drinks and appetizers. Everything was tasty and the ambiance was nice.

What a nice birthday dinner we celebrated! The restaurant had a cute and cozy vibe. Decorated for the season but not overdone. We started with cocktails. ( they have at least 50 bourbons to choose from-nice!) A couple of us had bourbons and a couple of us went with martinis. Yum. Baileys, crème de menthe and vanilla vodka. Not on the menu but they made it for us. They brought out some nice warm bread with a pepper jelly/olive oil dipping sauce which was good. We skipped apps cuz-dessert. Lol We ordered Rack of lamb Filet Mignon Two orders of the NY strip Sides were baked potatoes Everything was delicious and cooked to order. The meal and drinks were pretty filling but we shared dessert Crème brûlée And a chocolate dessert I can't remember the name of. We were very lucky to have had Leslie as our server. She was wonderful! Cheerful and sweet, efficient and checked on us as needed. Def will go back!

They have a nice patio area where we wanted to sit but they had a private party. Overall a must visit we will be back!!

I just have to say I love this restaurant the food is excellent especially the steak well seasoned cook to perfection I had the 14 oz Prime New York Strip for 50$ you can't go wrong . My husband had the baked beef tenderloin tips and risotto it was outstanding we can't wait to go back . We also ordered the Oysters which was fresh plump and juicy . And I had to try the Mediterranean Lamb & Beef cigar wow they were delicious . We sat at the bar and our server was super attentive which was impressive because it was very busy. Atmosphere was classy and casual. You can get all dolled up or you can be dressed down. Just a wonderful experience.

I have been to Red Fox four times and absolutely love it! The two times i have been there for dinner, we sat outside on their patio. I highly suggest ordering a bottle of wine (red is my recommendation), and the steak is superb! I also went there for two events and went to their upstairs room. At the most recent event, they had a buffet of brunch foods, with the pasta and the garlic rolls being the best of the selection I got to try. They also make a mean tequila sunrise!! The service all four times I have been there is excellent and the staff are super attentive! I highly recommend this for a fancier night out! They also have a pretty expansive and beautiful bar!

Caught the last hour of happy hour on a Saturday! It was a sunny day, we had the bar area to ourselves since people were taking advantage of the patio. There is a good amount of food options and they all sounded tasty. Of course, I had to do the garlic parm wings. I was also in the mood for something crunchy, so we did the house chips that comes with Gorgonzola dip. To my surprise, a complimentary bread basket was also served. Typically, a bread basket comes with oil, Parmesan, etc. Here, it was more of oil mixed with a salsa? I'm sure there is a name for it, but it escapes me right now. I could eat it all by itself, and at some points I did. When the wings came out, my eyes grew two times. They came out hot & are quite jumbo and you get 10 wings. Not bad for $12. The chips were house chips, The Gorgonzola was delish. Nice and stinky as it should be. Once the chips were done, some Gorgonzola was leftover to try with the wings. A nice combination. For drinks we did a couple of wines from the happy hour menu. Then, while checking out the main menu, I saw a pistachio tiramisu martini! Before finishing my wine, I ordered it. And oh boy was I ecstatic when it came out. The color was beautiful! Reminded me of the clear ocean waters found in the islands. To top it off, literally, a biscotti was balancing on top. The flavors were spot on. I could taste the pistachio and the creaminess of the tiramisu. It's definitely a must try and a go-to every time I come back to this Red Fox.

#40 in my NEW ENGLAND & NY COFFEE SHOP SERIES…read more This is an Asian-owned, female-owned bakery and coffee shop with delicious Asian-inspired pastries and fun drinks! We came on a Sunday around 10:30am and they were almost out of some of their pastries. Definitely go there earlier. But that just shows how fresh everything is! Firstly, all of the pastries looked delicious! It was so hard to just pick one so we needed up picking 3. Cheesy hotdog bread, kbbq short rib bread, and a cranberry cream cheese pastry. They were all SOOO GOOD! The bread is so soft and the flavors were delicious. They have lots of fun seasonal drinks, caffeinated and non-caffeinated. They also have boba! I got an ube banana latte and my friend got their seasonal Coquito latte which was recommended. Both were delicious (and very strong). The service was immaculate. I didn't catch the cashier's name but she was younger with brown hair. The sweetest person ever! Definitely made the experience more enjoyable. The owner, Chan also gifted us a piece of delicious oreo cake for fun! It was so yummy and not too sweet. I cannot recommend this place enough!

I also ordered an ube latte and a cozy dog to go. Highly recommend this place and looking forward to stopping by again.

It's not trying too hard, and that's exactly why it works. Feels like a spot where regulars post up, sip coffee, and take their time. No rush, no nonsense, ust good energy. And then the sandwich shows up... and flips the script. This isn't breakfast. This is a stacked, unapologetic morning statement. The Overloaded Egg Sando Griddled brioche bun, soft, buttery, just enough toast to hold things together (barely). Under that, a crispy hash brown doing the heavy lifting, adding crunch and soaking up all the goodness. Sausage brings that savory backbone, while the spinach scrambled eggs stay fluffy and rich. Then you get that creamy hit from the smashed avocado, melted smoked gouda layering in a subtle smokiness, and finally... the gochujang aioli. That aioli is the move. Sweet heat, a little funk, a little tang, cuts right through the richness and keeps every bite from getting too heavy. And let's be honest... Had to unhinge my jaw like a snake just to take the first bite. This thing is messy, stacked, and fully committed to the cause. Not first-date food. Not "eat it in the car" food. This is sit-down, take-a-minute, maybe-need-a-nap-after kind of food. The best part? The space balances it perfectly. Big, bold sandwich... calm, easygoing room. That's a combo I'll go back for every time.

You expect, like the other establishments in the plaza, to find a small cafe style restaurant. When you walk in, you are surprised with fun decor and spacious dining area. Everyone who has gone with me says the same thing "I would never expect it to look like this based on the outside." As for food, they have the Best Reuben sandwich in Rocky Hill. Fries are crispy and price on point. Every meal I've had there has been great! The only downside is table service during lunch is very slow. So happy I finally caught this restaurant when they were open!…read moreI'm now making an effort to get out of the house early to catch them. Firstly, this restaurant is bigger than it looks! Secondly, the latte, cocktail & mocktail options are amazing, along with the many many options of food. I've heard that food from restaurants with large menus are mediocre...this DOES NOT apply here. My party of 2 tried breakfast & lunch options. Both were fresh & so flavorful, especially that homemade syrup I had with the French Egg Holes & Cinnamon Roll Pancakes (3). The home fries came out & were seasoned to perfection. Also, not 1 hard potato to be found. The over medium egg in my thick french toast was actually medium! And they gave me the wholes that were cut from the center of the bread. The pancakes were so fluffy & the icing delish. Tasted exactly like a cinnamon roll. We also ordered 2 different mimosas. The cranberry & the classic. Both were made crispy cold, with quality juices & came garnished. The Salted Cinnamon Mocha Latte, was velvet. It wasn't overly sweet, it wasn't watery or overly bold. I was surprised about how tall the cup was...I drank all of it. It wasn't served scorching hot, so I could sip right away. The Greek Lemon Chicken Orzo Soup was lovely. Typically, soup is watery & looks like it was the last bits, but this had chunky meat, the broth had flavor with hints of lemon. You could see the herbs. This didn't scream, I'm from a can at all. The service was also nice & the waitresses didn't mind that we couldn't make our decisions right away. She & her counterpart offered suggestions & were very kind with checking on us. At the end of the meal, we couldn't help but order some take home from the lunch menu for later. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.
