Me and my daughter were in the neighborhood and stopped by Loaded Cafe. We found them in Yelp and decided to try them because of the reviews. The food and the service exceeded our expectations! It was unpleasant and honestly nasty compared to how it's normally served. The consomé was thick .. the tacos BLACK, burned. The green juice was mostly foam instead of actual green juice..& On top of that, I had to wait over 30 minutes just to get the bill, which made the experience even more frustrating. Was excited to try this spot out wasn't as I expected price on the food is extremely high for the portion that they give you I got the loaded steak & eggs the smallest portion of steak I've ever received at that steak wasn't all that I got it with French toast the French toast was extremely dry, I got my daughter the grilled cheese I received it the bread was so hard over all food wasn't good. Price wise, I think the food was priced just write and the amount of food was perfect. Only complaint, the door chime literally went off throughout the entire visit. On busy days it should be turned off. It seemed to be highly sensitive to motion and was extremely loud and annoying. Other than that, cool spot located close to home. It's a Sunday and my pal Susan decided to try this place. We had heard so many good things. It did not disdisappoint. Our server was a very bubby lady named Mell. We started with a delicious strawberry lemonade for me and a nice cafe mocha. We ordered the Crunchy Asada Chilaquiles and the Crunchy Strawberry Crepe. I was not a Chilaquiles fan, that is until I had these. Nice portions of beef. The sauce had a great flavor with a little bit of a kick, but wasn't very spicy. Excellent dish and I would order it again happily. The Crunchy Strawberry Crepe stole the show. Again a nice portions of strawberry and crepe. Sweet but not too sweet. The combination of the two was recommended by Mell. It was very good advice. One had a bold savory flavor, along side the sweetness of the crepe was genius. This place has amazing breakfast! I love that they bring you conchas as a little appetizer before your meal. I got the classic breakfast combo that comes with 2 eggs any style, 2 pieces of bacon or sausage, and 2 pancakes. You can even get your bacon a little extra crispy, which was awesome because I always ask restaurants if they can crisp up the bacon a little bit. Wonderful service! Great sit down restaurant. I ordered the strawberry banana Nutella concha combo, and it was delicious. The concha is fresh because my friend said that they own a bakery two stores down, so the conchas and breads are fresh. The eggs, bacon and hash browns were made just right.
