Cute spot in a strip mall. I went on a whim and I'm glad I did. Arrived about 2 hours before closing and a large party was just finishing near where I was seated. They seemed very happy with their meals. I certainly enjoyed my Chiliquiles w/ asada and beans. I like a little spice and they let me sample a little to insure it wouldn't be too much. I look forward to coming back with my family soon. read more

I can imagine how bad it would be in person... I ordered through UberEats and I spoke to multiple people to ensure that my order would be correct.. guess what? They managed to get EVERYTHING wrong. When I called back after receiving the order they acted confused and gaslighted me, saying I must have ordered from a different location. Super disappointed. Next time, Denny's it is... LOL. Honestly. Not sure if they got the order correct it would've tasted any better. Sub par food, especially at this price point. I was thinking I could have got grocery store waffles that would have been superior to this sad food. read more

Spot is solid but unspectacular. It's like 10 min from LAX which is nice if you're looking for a decent spot before heading over. It's a strip mall with shared parking, but the spaces are somewhat tight so larger SUVs beware. Otherwise it's a more local Denny's that has both hispanic and american classic breakfast items. I got the Brioche french toast, and it was actually quite good. Bacon and eggs were fine, noticeably just ok. Like clearly no good qualities about them (over cooked bacon and very not fluffy eggs) but clearly could be much worse. All in all, a fine spot, you could do worse. read more

This place is OK. The menu is extensive including some American and Mexican dishes so I appreciate the variety. I tried the two types of Chilaquiles and a green juice and the food was good but nothing extraordinary. Also the host was nice, but our waitress was not so much. Since it was our first time here we had some questions about the menu and she seemed bothered by us asking questions. The place was not super busy to garner lack of patience (only about 3 other tables had people it was a Monday) Food came out pretty quickly, but honestly wouldn't go back due to the waitress alone. read more

This is my first time going and we went on Valentine's Day. I was with my mother and little sister. The host there was amazing Let's start that off, I wish I would've gotten her name. So the food was great, but the service was awful. There's this woman with tattoos, and I believe a piercing underneath her lip she never checked up on us , while she went to every other table so we had the host help us get our refills and boxes to go. I'm not gonna say it's a racial thing but honestly, we were the only Black people in there at that hour and when my mom finally got a hold of our waitress who never tended to us during our whole meal so we could pay she gave us an attitude she drop down the gadget for us to pay and never told us how much never gave us a receipt beforehand and was just plain on rude for no reason!!!! But I saw another waitress saying are you paying cash or card and xyz but we get no communication and dropping the gadget.! I would recommend y'all to go here but if you get that waitress, I would get another one and she's lucky My little sister was with me cause I had a few words for her. read more

Very flavorful, generous portion that is definitely big enough to share. We also ordered the Sausage & Leek Fettuccine and I was definitely not thinking. Totally forgetting that leeks are part of the onion family (and I have a sensativity to onions). Once the dish arrive, I immediately noticed the similarity and was slowly trying to pick them away from my portion. Once again, Geovani came to our rescue. He asked how everything was and I told him I made a mistake (noted above). He quickly volunteered to have the kitchen make it again without the leeks. I asked, "Are you sure?", and he immediately said yes and removed the dish. Very shortly after, he returned with the "onion sterile" dish and it was wonderful. Both of us were so full you could have rolled us out the door. Good thing the parking garage is so close so we could just hop in our car and go home. Time to loosen the belt! ;) In a week where we have had some personal issues, it was so nice to be treated so well and received such a great tasting meal. Our server, Raquel, was lovely and on top of things. I had what I think is the best Mai Tai I've ever had, even while in Hawaii! Just delicious. We enjoyed the fried asparagus and bacon deviled eggs as our appetizer. The buttermilk fried chicken, crispy chicken sandwich and the ribeye melt were really good, but I am STILL thinking about how incredible Cha Cha's Spicy Rigatoni was. So incredibly creamy, and full of flavor, with just the right amount of heat. My daughter orders this every time it's on a menu, and this is by far the best I've ever tasted. SO good. We had mentioned we were celebrating our twins' birthday, and they were served two lovely pieces of chocolate cake with a candle, AND a card for each of them signed by the staff. Never have I experienced that before for a birthday in a restaurant! Just a great touch. I am SO glad my daughter suggested we go here, and every time we're in town we will return. As I was eating, I started thinking about how food ties us to previous & future generations. It's wild how dishes once considered scraps i.e: greens, yams, cornbread, oxtails, are now sought out in restaurants just like this one. These meals are more than just food; they're stories of survival, resilience, and community. But I digress, I know y'all didn't come here for a history lesson in Black culture, so I'll leave it at that. Now, onto the standouts. The mac and cheese and yams? Easily the stars of the plate. I like my yams runny and solid, because I love mixing it with the cornbread. Sweet, savory, soft--that combo hits every time. The macaroni? Seasoned perfectly. Creamy, rich, and not bland like you sometimes get at other spots . That's rare, and I don't take it for granted.
