We were looking for a place to eat near SoFi Stadium that wasn't overly priced and was popular with locals, and Con Huevos Cafe kept coming up--so we decided to try it, and we're so glad we did. The location is very convenient, especially if you're heading to or from the stadium. Despite it being a busy weekend, we were impressed with how quickly we were seated. The service was efficient and welcoming from the start. I ordered the Mole Chilaquiles, which had the perfect balance of sweetness with a nice kick of spice--I absolutely loved them. We also shared the Gorditas de Chicharrón, which were delicious, slightly spicy, and came with a side of salsa. My boyfriend says those were his favorite dish. He also ordered the Norteño Eggs and was really impressed. The chorizo added a great twist, and we appreciated that they used pieces of queso fresco instead of just shredding it on top--it made the dish feel more authentic and thoughtfully prepared. Overall, a great spot with amazing food, fair prices, and a convenient location. We'd definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting the area

Really quick food but really delicious. The place looks really cute and clean. This is definitely a hidden gem.

chilaquiles verdes with scramble eggs, and iced coffee

We ordered 2 types of the chilaquiles red and green the green one came out dry Server had ask if we wanted natural orange juice or jug orange juice and we had ordered and paid for natural orange juice and it tastes it mixed with orange juice from jug and pulp from the orange natural juice".we tried the "iced coffee she offered us de la holla" or regular coffee and we said regular coffee and basically is coffee with ice no flavor, and they bring you the creamer it taste disgusting, it's only one server so she gets busy and plain she doesn't smile the place looks clean spacious.

Cafe de olla = piloncillo heaven! The chilaquiles with salsa verde hit all the right notes--bright, tangy, and comforting. The place was packed for breakfast (parking is limited), and service felt slow since online orders were flying out first. Still, the food was worth the wait, and I'll definitely be back!

Really enjoyed my breakfast here! As soon as we walked in, I noticed the awesome ambiance from the huge tv screen on the wall, the colorful papel picado hanging from the ceiling, and the neon signs lit up on the walls. It was pretty busy but we put our names on the list and got seated within 5 minutes. Our waiter gave us a heads up that they had a few large groups that morning. He actually let us know that he put in our order before theirs just so the kitchen can knock ours out real quick first. Thought that was really cool of them to do. I saw the chilaquiles torta on the menu and had to try it. It was pretty spicy but was so good. I also ordered an iced cafe de la olla which wasn't bad. Honestly, I wish I had ordered more just to try other things on the menu but the portion sizes were already good. I'll definitely be coming back!

This is my second time coming here. The service is good and fast. The food is good, we got chilaquiles Rojos, Sopes de Carne Asada, and Chicken Enchiladas. Everything was good. We also got two Cafe De Olla, they were pretty sweet. My mom got a Regular Coffee. The ambience is very cute, it's decorated with a lot of Mexican decor and the music is good.

We went here for a work breakfast. Parking was super easy at 8 am on a Friday which isn't the case in LA, so I already knew the vibes were good going in. The restaurant was large and empty (we got there super early) but the decor felt warm and inviting, although a bit mix matched. We ordered an assortment of plates, and I got the chilaquiles torta. My dish was the last to arrive at our table of seven, because they apparently make the bread from scratch? I don't know, but the food coming 10-15 mins later than the rest of my team was kinda awkward Anywho, the food was okay. Not the best chilaquiles I've had, but the bread was definitely the best part of my meal. Service was.... slow, but I'm sure running the front alone is tough!

A Hidden Gem Near LAX! I stopped in for brunch the food was delicious and flavorful. The prices were more than fair for the quality. I had the Divorced eggs, and it hit the spot perfectly. Service was equally impressive friendly, attentive, and fast, even during the morning rush. You can tell the staff really cares about your experience. Overall, a fantastic spot I'll definitely return to whenever I'm near LAX. Highly recommended!

Great breakfast spot in Hawthorne. Service is amazing. Great choices and music makes the ambiance nice. Give it a try if you're ever in the southbay.

Enchiladas, didn't take a picture of the rice and beans that came with it.

The wait was a little long but definitely worth the wait. The restaurant is clean. Parking on the side. I ordered green enchiladas, which came with rice and refried beans... delicious. My bf got the chilaquiles, which came with eggs and black beans and they were also tasty. We had yummy micheladas. The portions are good. I didn't feel stuffed. This is a great place to eat.

This place was amazing as it was delicious. It is on the smaller end but has enough tables to accommodate the customers. The ambience is simple yet inviting and warm. They had a huge screen display playing Spanish music which really set the tone for the place. Took us about 8 minutes to be seated but in the end it was all worth it. The drinks were so delicious. From the cafe de olla to the horchata to the Chocomil with banana. The food was amazing. Chilaquiles were crunchy, great flavor and great portion size. Overall would definitely be going back if I'm ever in the area again.

The food was very good, service was quick (Monday morning) and the cafe de olla came in very cute cups. It was a bit sweeter for my taste preference but the server made sure to mention that before I ordered and I was good with it.

The entire staff was incredibly kind, and the manager, Luis, was very attentive, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and taken care of. The food is beyond amazing -- everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. Since my first visit I have come back multiple times, and have received outstanding service each time. I came on Valentine's Day and it was beautifully decorated. It was also EXTREMELY BUSY, and again, Luis stepped up and became the backbone for his staff. From hosting, serving, bartending, and working hard to make everything flow smoothly. I have such a wonderful experience each time I come, not only with the food but also with the manager and staff. The restaurant is very clean, which makes the atmosphere even more enjoyable. No matter the time or how busy it is, my food comes out in a reasonable amount of time, and nothing ever feels rushed or forgotten. What really stood out to me was how much the manager seems to genuinely care about both the staff and the overall environment. He was constantly moving around, checking in on everyone, making sure guests are happy and that his team is doing okay as well. It's really warming to see that level of dedication and leadership. Overall, this is one of my new favorite places to come due to my positive and memorable experiences. Great food, amazing service, and such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal and excellent customer service. I made a reservation and went with a friend, but after being seated, we waited over 15 minutes without anyone greeting us, introducing themselves, checking on us, or even acknowledging our table. Eventually, my friend had to stop someone walking by to ask if anyone would be helping us. The employee apologized and helped us even though she said she wasn't actually assigned to our table. We ordered the Mimosa Tóxica drinks and chose different flavors based on the menu options, but were later told the flavors are apparently mixed together anyway and that they "always have to explain that to people," which honestly made the menu confusing and misleading. Another thing that stood out was that every single table around us already had chips and salsa except ours. After noticing this, I finally asked one of the servers if the chips and salsa were complimentary, and he said yes, but that customers are "supposed to ask" for them. That explanation didn't really make sense considering the restaurant was completely full and every other table already had them. After that, multiple different employees/managers came by apologizing, and it became confusing trying to figure out who was actually serving our table because no one wore name tags and we never seemed to have one designated server. Meanwhile, the booths around us appeared to have attentive service. We basically had to flag people down anytime we needed something. They did comp our Taquitos Dorados appetizer for the inconvenience, which I appreciated, but unfortunately the overall experience still wasn't good. The food itself was mid. I had the Quesa Birria Tacos, we shared the Taquitos Dorados appetizer, and my friend had the Carne Asada plate. The drinks were decent, but overall the experience felt disorganized and frustrating. I've heard good things about Kalaveras, so I'd still be open to trying another location someday, but I personally would not return to the Long Beach location.

We started with the octopus, which was super tender (not rubbery at all ) and paired really nicely with fresh avocado, herbs, and a light citrusy kick. Definitely one of the better octopus dishes I've had. The shrimp empanadas were crispy, golden, and packed with flavor. Topped with crema, avocado sauce, and fresh onions, they had the perfect balance of crunchy + creamy + tangy. Loved that they were stuffed full or shrimp and not greasy. For the main, the steak fajita dish came with sautéed peppers and onions, a roasted pepper, creamy beans, and guac on the side. The steak had a nice char and good seasoning, and everything on the plate complemented each other really well. The fajitas were cooked to perfection. An evening here feels, at first, like an invitation into something refined--dim lighting, polished interiors, and a menu that promises indulgence. The mole poblano delivered beautifully: rich, layered, and deeply satisfying. The ahi tuna ceviche followed with freshness and elegance, showcasing the kitchen's true capability. However, not every detail carried that same intention. The guacamole lacked depth and seasoning--unexpected for a restaurant at this level. But the most defining part of the experience happens before you even sit down. With valet as the only real parking option (approximately $35), guests are required to wait outside in a crowded, unpredictable environment. During my visit, the atmosphere felt chaotic and, at times, unsafe. What stood out most was the absence of a consistent, visible security presence at the entrance. For a restaurant of this caliber, a dedicated security guard stationed at the entrance should be standard--not optional. Managing the valet flow, maintaining order, and most importantly ensuring guests feel safe and comfortable should be part of the experience. Javier's delivers moments of excellence on the plate--but true luxury is holistic. It's not just what you serve, it's how you protect, welcome, and elevate your guests from the very first step.
