Waffle Combo with bacon and side of grits.
    Candace B.

I'm from Phoenix and was looking for a highly rated breakfast place in the area. I originally drove to another highly recommended place but couldn't find parking. I'm grateful for that because it led me here. Upon entering, we were greeted and told to sit where we would like. The service was friendly and fast. We ordered and the food arrived quickly. It was simple, yet delicious. The waffle was crispy but not rock hard. It was not soggy - nor did it get soggy after adding syrup. The bacon was amazing and crispy. The grits were just right with the perfect amount of butter. The coffee was good too. If I'm ever visiting Inglewood again I will make sure to stop back by. If you're local and haven't tried this spot - you're missing out!

Hidden Gem in Inglewood! Sometimes you just have to give a small spot a try--and The Rusty Pot Café in Inglewood did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff made us feel right at home. Between the three of us, we ordered two different meals: the catfish with grits and eggs, and the chicken and waffles. Both dishes were packed with flavor, seasoned to perfection, and gave off that comforting, home-cooked vibe with a touch of gourmet flair. The catfish was crispy and tender, the grits buttery and smooth, and don't even get me started on that waffle--it was golden, fluffy, and paired perfectly with the well-seasoned chicken. This place may be small, but it has big soul. Friendly service, delicious food, and a vibe that keeps you wanting to come back. The Rusty Pot Café has earned every one of these five stars--I'll definitely be returning again and again!

Found this place after trying to go to The Serving Spoon and decided to give them a try. The service was great and our food came out really fast. But, I didn't love it. I had the catfish, eggs and grits, the fish was really good but those grits... no ma'am. I didn't enjoy the eggs either. Hubs was a little more disappointed with his food. Definitely wouldn't go back. I'm used to my server asking me how everything was after my meal. This server didn't, but he knew I didn't enjoy it. Half of the food was still on the plate

After following them on Instagram, I was not expecting that ambience. It reminds me of a hole in a wall with the lack of decoration, ripped furniture, and plastic tables with plastic table cloths. I was willing to look past all of that if the food was good and unfortunately it wasn't. I ordered the chicken and waffles with eggs on the side. The waffle was bland. The chicken was salty and tasted like it was fried in old oil. The grits and sweet tea were good. The bacon is cooked in the oven so it was salty. I also did not like the syrup they provide. Service was great though. Unfortunately, I was left underwhelmed. Perhaps I'll try again in the future.

Great family owned spot. Easy to get into very friendly staff and delicious food. I love the breakfast sandwich and also the fried catfish. I come to eat and order lunch for later haha. Will be back soon.

Food is incredibly slow here. They're really inefficient and need to do better. Waited more than 30 minutes for our food.

The service was fast but not rushed. Immediately about to sit and put my bags down the server already dropped a menu off and a glass pitcher of water. The menu was pretty extensive but I went with the tuna melt and BOY it did NOT disappoint. The tuna melt was incredible. The flavor was on point, pretty hardy. I got the choice between fries or fruit and got the fruit. I don't think the sandwich took more than 10 minutes to get out. Fresh and hot. Had two cups of coffee, kind of wish I got something from the baristas- the drinks looked fantastic. 10/10 would go back. I wish I would've taken a picture but honestly was way too hungry to remember. Must try!!

It's become one of our go-to breakfast spots. My usual order is the pancakes, bacon, and eggs. The pancakes are big, fluffy, and definitely filling. My favorites are the chocolate chip pancakes and the banana pancakes. One of my friends always orders the shrimp and grits, and on our most recent visit another friend tried the shrimp omelet and really enjoyed it. They also have mimosas, which are a nice treat after a long shift. The staff is always friendly, and despite how busy it can get, the service has been consistently good. The restaurant can get pretty crowded, but since we're usually getting off work, we arrive around 8 a.m. and don't have much trouble getting seated. The only downside for me is the pricing. Breakfast here isn't cheap, but I will say that I always leave full and satisfied, so the portions definitely help justify the cost. Overall, if you're looking for a solid breakfast spot with generous portions, good food, friendly staff, and a lively atmosphere, I'd definitely recommend giving this place a try.

The folded egg sandwich is phenomenal, but the real game-changer is adding their house-made turkey sausage. I tried it once, and now it's hard to order anything else. It's packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and easily one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had. The pastries are just as impressive. I had a seasonal peach Danish that was incredible, and the peach monkey bread with vanilla glaze was absolutely out of this world. Thankfully I had a couple of people to share it with, because otherwise I probably would've eaten the whole thing myself. The coffee is consistently excellent, the atmosphere is warm and tucked away from the hustle, and you can tell they care about every detail. One thing many people may not realize is that their brioche buns are so good they're featured at other popular neighborhood restaurants. Great food. Great coffee. Great people. Every visit reminds me why this place has earned a permanent spot on my list. If you're anywhere near Inglewood, do yourself a favor and stop by. Super laid back great spot to grab breakfast with friends and family or even impress that one foodie friend you haven't seen in a while! Now to the food! Fantastic so good prob the best avocado I've ever had ngl I've had some good ones but yeah wasn't overly sweet either had a great balance truly enjoyed this one! I also ordered a Breakfast croissant, well because I'm a foodie, which was absolutely delicious! Super flakey croissant with egg, cheese, lettuce, tomato, bacon, spicy mayo. Egg and bacon cooked just right all the flavors came together like a perfect bite every time. Even the tomato was red and brought a nice touch to the whole sandwich. I don't know, but this place had a big menu and decent reviews so we chose to hit up this spot. The vibes in here were super laid back. There was only one woman who we saw working which was also the hostess and everyone else's server, which was just us and another woman to tables away from us. We had a difficult time choosing something to order since the menu was so diverse. Everything from croffle ice cream, to clam chowder, to a full Thai menu. I saw banh mi on the menu and instantly knew I had to order it since I've never tried it before. So, I ordered the chicken meatball banh mi sandwich with a side salad (removing the jalapeño and spicy mayo). My friend ordered a Thai iced coffee and the pineapple curry. The food came out relatively quickly. My friend enjoyed her Thai iced coffee, but she said she wished she'd ordered the Thai tea instead. She also really liked her pineapple curry, and it came out piping hot. I tried it and it was super spicy, so not for me, but she really enjoyed it. My banh mi sandwich was interesting. Right off the bat, it was 75% bread. The bread wasn't bad. In fact, it was chewy and not tough to tear into, but the sandwich itself was mostly bread. There were only like three meatballs in the sandwich, which were cut in half, and I feel like there wasn't anything special about the meatballs. If I was blindfolded, I would think they were the Great Value frozen meatballs in a bag from Walmart. The pickled cabbage was nice though, even if the mixture made the entire bottom of the sandwich soggy af (but I like soggy bread so it was fine with me). I tore most of the bread off and left it on the plate. The side salad dressing also spilled onto the sandwich and contributed to the soggy bread. Now that I'm looking at the photo I took of the sandwich, there wasn't much cilantro on there at all. The pickled cabbage was at the very bottom buried in between all the bread.
