Located on the corner of La Cienega and Manchester Blvd, we had to check out this world famous donut shop. There was no line around 11:30 am on a Sunday. We came, got our dozen assorted at the drive through. Employee taking order was patient. There's no tables and chairs so we parked, took some pics and did our taste test, here's the verdict. The raised donuts tasted better than the cake ones which have a weird bitter aftertaste. The chocolate buttermilk was the best tasting, then the butter crumb raised is second. I wouldn't go out of my way for them though.
Whenever I touch down in LA, Randy's Donuts is either my first stop or my last stop, it's just tradition at this point! This time, I grabbed the maple iced, raspberry-filled jelly donut, which will forever have my heart, along with the honey wheat donut (didn't last long enough for a photo, lol) which is simply magical Fresh, delicious, and always worth the stop.
The sign says "World Famous Since 1952"--and I completely see why! They offer an amazing variety of delicious sweet treats and drinks. The staff was super friendly and helped me pull together a fantastic box of doughnuts to try. Whether you just want a single donut or a whole dozen, they've got you covered.
100% worth the hype. Some of the best donuts I've had. My mom who is a Krispy Kreme fan said she thought these were better - which is extremely high praise. I think I agree. The glazed ones are the best followed by the chocolate glaze. I didn't like the cake donuts as much. Parking lot onsite and they also have a drive through but it's kind of tricky to get to depending on which side you enter, so I just parked. No indoor seating just a pickup window. Staff were friendly.
Great fast service! I ordered my go-to, the cinnamon roll. It is so soft and delicious. The cinnamon pairs perfectly with the glaze. It's a treat to have Randy's donuts in our neighborhood.

We had to get a donut and settled on a classic glazed to see if Tony Stark knew good donuts. It was great! They are freshly made, soft, sweet and delicious. I'm not really a Donut guy so I honestly wouldn't know how to rate them. I got the plain glaze and a plain glaze twist. They both were soft, sweet, and pretty good. It definitely satisfied my sweet tooth. I will say that this place is a tourist attraction and destination. You can't go to Randy's without seeing a bunch of folks from out of town taking pictures. There is always a long line outside and in the drive through so I'm guessing that it is for a reason and this place must be good.

Arrived at work and noticed that the box only had 2 dozen. To make matters worse, the donuts were stale and I was given Topped Rounds not the Iced Rounds I ask for. I called the donut shop a few times that day to report the discrepancy but no one ever picked up the phone.

The donuts we had were pretty great with the exception of the long John that was light on creme. My chocolate crondy - a croissant donut combo - was really great. But we only ordered 4 because they were pricey and the wait was far too long. We watched easily 3 parties leave the line because they didn't want to wait longer. Made it better for us, but still. Two people should be able to handle a drive thru and walk up window far faster. And $18 for 4 donuts is silly. But I guess that's so SoCal.

It's a bit oily, unbelievably soft, and somehow the perfect amount of flaky and crispy. On my first bite I was basically in heaven due to how amazing this dough was. I've been to other famous donut places, and this dough just blows those out of the water. It's almost like you're biting through nothing - that's how soft it was The toppings here was pretty simple - a layer of vanilla icing and a few basic oreo pieces. I would've liked them to have been a little more, like oreo crumbles throughout or more oreo pieces added - but the quality of the pieces was very good, especially the vanilla icing The price isn't too expensive either - and there was basically no line when I went (albeit in the evening)

These donuts, man. Whenever I have guests from out of town, it almost feels like you have to go to Randy's. People ask about it, they see the pictures, and when you bring a box, they do not disappoint. I usually just get an assorted box. They literally have something for everyone. I try not to get too many for myself, but that maple and the lemon old fashioned are hard to pass up. There are a couple of favorites I always look for, and they are usually in the box along with new ones for other people to try. I also really like how they set up the pricing. They have the donuts listed as classic, deluxe, fancy, and premium, so you know exactly what you are choosing and how to mix and match. It makes ordering for a group a lot easier. There is often a long line, but this last time I walked up and got helped right away, which was a nice surprise. Randy's Donuts continues to be a go to spot for me. I am giving them 4.7 stars. read more

I woke up with an absolute hankering for Randy's Donuts which I've ironically only had in Las Vegas (Moved to LA last year). I went from sleeping, to being in a car heading to Inglewood in a matter of five minutes and the mission was on. The Inglewood location had a short line in the drive through and we were able to get in and out in maybe three minutes. I ordered a glaze donut, an m&m donut, and a cookies and cream donut and let me tell you, all three of them were absolutely fantastic. The m&m one has always been my favourite at Randy's and this location was no different. The dough is soft and the candy and chocolate on top were fantastic. The glaze donut was also really good and let's be real, obviously so was the cookies and cream one. Overall, Randy's Donuts is probably my favourite donut chain and I'm not sure it even has competition. The staff here was great, the drive through was super quick, and the donuts were fantastic. I'll definitely be back again and again. read more

9/11/26: I left the drive-thru around 8:17 pm for the second time within an hour. I went home to discover that Randy's gave me two wrong donuts. I go down the stairs, back to my car to head back to Randy's. I reenter the drive-thru and met the young man with the grey sweatshirt and curly hair. I proceed to tell him that I went all the way home to discover that when I opened my box, I noticed that my order was incorrect!!! He looks at my order (in addition to the other donuts I ordered, I wanted two twists for my daughter and received two glazed round donuts). He corrects the order and said sorry. But did not go the extra mile to make me smile. For the wasted time I had to take to go back to get the right order. Not an extra donut or perhaps a coupon to entice me to make another visit. Well, I will not be back any time soon. Cause I only went back because of my kids. Randy's won't be seeing me. :-( read more
You've got to stop by here when visiting LA. There was abundant parking, a well explained menu (even though I still messed up on ordering what I wanted), and the donuts were soft and fresh. The staff was friendly, efficient, and i'd definitely visit in the future. read more

We make frequent trips to Los Angeles, and every time we go, we always try to stop at this Randy's location. We do have a Randy's in Vegas now, but honestly, it just doesn't compare. Nothing beats the quality we get from this location. On our last visit, I was in desperate need for a good cup of joe. The coffee here was exactly what I needed, piping hot, flavorful, and delicious. The donuts were on point as always, fresh, soft, and everything you want in a sweet treat. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which I absolutely love. Upbeat service just makes the entire stop feel worth it. The exterior was also clean and well kept. If you find yourself in this part of Los Angeles, make a beeline straight to Randy's. On the way out of LA I wanted a donut for the road and of course had to make sure it was Randy's. The giant donut is iconic so it was a must! They have a drive through which was definitely popping so we opted to order at the walk up window. I got the old fashioned and my sister got the raised glazed. Both donuts were incredibly fresh and melt in your mouth delicious! I kind of wish we had gotten a box for the road BUT all the more reason to stop by again when I'm in town! read more

It's a donut shop. Specializing in drive up window service. There is also a walk up. They have multiple different types of donuts. Different pricing based on how swank the donut is. I had a lemon iced old fashioned and glazed buttermilk bar. The lemon glaze was awesome. There's no ambiance since there is not place to eat. It's fast and affordable. Fire donuts! Honestly thought this place would be overhyped since its popular, but the donuts are actually really good! I like the drive thru, it makes it convenient and pro tip: DOWNLOAD THE APP!! They give some coupons on the app and they are great! I like how its close to the freeway, I've only had the donuts and none of the drinks and they were all really great so far! Of course I was in the area so I had to stop by Randy's! I got a Nutella donut, red report, chocolate twist, chocolate sprinkles, butter, and a couple others. The line was super short but went by quickly too. The person that helped us was super friendly! And I love that they have a drive thru - although I went to the counter because I didn't know what I wanted LOLLL. It took me a while. But everything tasted great and fresh and fluffy and overall really good ! It is tricky to get into the lot - but there is parking that's super easy! read more

This place deserves so much. I love the idea of a 4$ discount on a dozen of donuts. I got 35 donuts and 8$ off my order. So the total of 35 donuts came down to be 76$. Regular price. I was buying it omw to give it out to restaurant workers and I had to go there quickly, but the speed of preparation of this facility is insane. They got me all those donuts in a matter of 2-3 minutes. I thought I would have to wait at least 10-15 mins but no - the speed is awesome. The cleanliness of the location could see some improvement and the location speakers were a little bit confusing or was it a guy taking my order - idk. I didn't understand if he was asking me or saying smth so at the end we just decided to roll up to the next window. The other thing - I asked for one of each regular donuts, which they almost gave me but not really. There were 15 different options on the menu, but they only gave me 12. I thought they would give me two of each (15 options=30 total) + 5 random ones. But I had 4 same type of donuts of 5 copies. read more

Oh yeah! Finally made it to a Randy's Donuts! Not too many people in line in a Saturday - 7 cars in the drive through, but only 2 parties in the walk up - quickly served up my double espresso, two waters, forgot my husbands coffee... and so did we lol guess we were too giddy about the donut selection! Ordered a traditional, a cherry dipped, crondy (?), an fashioned glazed, cinnamon crumb cake, and two maple bars. Immediately mowed right through all but two of them. Oh and hubby ordered a breakfast sandwich - muffin sausage and cheese and it was good! No regrets hahahaha worth the wait - and now a "must stop" every time we drive to SD and back l! Randy's donuts is that spot! Prepare yourself, the drive-thru may have you blocking traffic but the staff moves the line pretty quick so you won't have to spiral for long. It's worth the hassle but parking and walking up to the order window is less stressful if you have the time. The crondy! Croissant-donut hybrid had me AND my kids in a chokehold. It's flaky, glazed and dangerous! Everything in the classic box is delicious but if you walk away without a crondy did you even really go? We'll be back soon. While I was in LA I had to stop at the world famous Randy's Donuts. When we walk up to the window the staff greeted us. The staff were friendly and polite. I ordered chocolate twist, 2 glazed donuts, blueberry cake donut, chocolate chip donut, glazed donut rounds and a couple of chocolate rounds. The donuts were delicious and soft. The ambiance is customer friendly. The menu has some great donut selections, croissants, coffee and tea selections. When you are in Inglewood swing by Randy's you will not be disappointed. read more

You have to like Randy's it's not a choice. Visit LA and go to Randy's. Donuts a donut guys I've said it before. They have specialty ones and they're aight but if you don't like Randy's I dunno what to tell you. Pick-y pick-y. You're just hating at that point to be edgy. Everything is solid here. I worked my way all down the menu when I lived here last time I think. Including specialties. Bros don't pay several dollars for cereal on your donut. I know it's 1:20am and they're still open and you're high but use some wisdom, those dollars could be spent on gas. Funnily enough. Technically I think this spot lies right outside the border of Inglewood since I drive down this road all the time. Its on the other side of the street that's actually Westchester I think. But it shows up in all the hood movies ofc. No one cares except me. Inglewood is super expensive these days anyway probably on the level of Westchester even so. Don't pretend you're cool for coming here at night lol. I've literally seen like roller skate communities pull up here. Its very safe and the next freeway exit I'm pretty sure is literally LMU so. Saw the iconic giant donut from a distance and after going to Roscoe's chicken and waffles had to make a stop for some donuts and photo op! Got a variety of donuts, including the Texas glazed... If you don't know what it is, you will find out, it's a giant! There is a line and a order window, but the line moves pretty quickly. The donuts were absolutely amazing! We've never had any problems with flies or gnats. You could mention your concerns to the manager. They are very nice and I'm sure would welcome your feedback.
Do you fry donuts in the same oil as bacon?
Randy's has a separate building next door where The donuts are made. The donuts are not fried in the same oil. They wouldn't do that because the bacon flavor is strong and would make every donut taste like bacon.
