I came here before I had an interview. The ambiance really fit the vibe. I wanted a quick pick me up before the interview. The coffee is alright. I could tell the coffee is a bit.. burnt? One and done for me.

A cute dog-friendly cafe in Navy Yard with great potential. Unfortunately, the drinks and food have been underwhelming for me. The first time I came I ordered one of their fall seasonal drinks - a pumpkin cream chai latte. Maybe it was just too many different flavors, but all I could taste was syrup with a little hint of pumpkin. I came back last week to try their sweet potato and quinoa bowl and their banana matcha drink. Again, the drink was entirely too sweet and the banana was too overpowering. The breakfast bowl came with an overwhelming amount of sweet potato tots and it felt like I ordered a side of those instead of an actual dish. Would I come back? Absolutely not. While I love the space and the service has been great and friendly both times, the food and drinks are not worth coming back for.

Great place for breakfast or a casual brunch in a beautiful space! The green elixir smoothie (spinach, kale, mango, pineapple, banana and fresh ginger) is my go-to for a healthy and delicious starter. The French toast is a carb lover's delight! I enjoyed it during my last visit minus the bananas, which were too mushy for my liking. The dish is large enough for two people. This place occasionally hosts morning dj parties. This means great music, lots of people, and of course a longer wait time for your order. It's a fun vibe, but if you're not into crowds, it might be best to go on a regular day.

This is a new-ish cafe that I found in DC. For a weekend morning, it was interesting to see a DJ playing and the space being more busy than usual. My friend and I had an easy time ordering, but we found it hard to hear each other inside. I ordered the banana matcha latte, which was more expensive than the usual prices I see within the DMV. I wouldn't say this latte was mind blowing, but it was better than average. I probably won't rush back here anytime, but it's nice to try another cafe in my area.

Food was cleared! I loved the acai bowl & the Peruvian chicken salad & the brown sugar shaken espresso. The cafe has such a light & airy vibe, Played good music and staff was super helpful. Saw lots of people with laptops so seems WFH friendly. Can't wait to go back

The drinks are yummy, food is good and service is even better. I had the brown sugar shaken espresso, if you like sweet I'd try something else or add cold foam. My boyfriend had the strawberry and cream matcha, it was very good! To eat, we split the waygu chopped cheese and this was a hit. Even better than expected. The brunette girl behind the counter was so sweet and helpful. Definitely a great little local cafe!

I love this place so much! Smoothies a hit and their avocado toast such a hit to me and some of the best in the city. Parking is tough though. But food and ambiance so cute!

Just paid $8 for the palest match latte of my life. Can't even taste the matcha just sugar.

It's a nice big space with plenty of seats and nice big windows. I got a mocha and a breakfast burrito. The prices were on par with other places nearby. The food was underwhelming. The potatoes in my burrito were a bit undercooked and the salsa served with it wasn't my favorite and reminded me of just tomato sauce. The mocha was meh, nothing to write home about and the espresso seemed weak in taste.

What a lovely time! I stopped in here one morning after running some early morning errands in DC and wanting to stop for a quick coffee. Sadly I didn't have a lot of time to try other things on their menu but what I did have was delicious and everything I saw being ordered smelled and looked delicious as well. The vibe of the whole place was very calming and refreshing with lots of plants, natural light and great music! It was definitely a great place to read a book or get some work done. The employees were attentive and the food was brought out fairly quickly. I have heard they do events there but haven't gotten the chance to attend one yet, but I will definitely be back soon to try for my food and hopefully as well!

Great place to lock in and get some work done. Very spacious with a bohemian aesthetic, the music was a vibe, service was quick & easy The iced matcha latte with oat milk was perfect and not as earthy as I'm used to it tasting - it paired perfectly with the chicken Caesar salad. I think they have social events and a DJ some days; if so, I look forward to checking it out

Llamabar is a vibe!! The seating is comfortable, the cafe Is spacious, the food is delicious! I had the cookie crumble late and to my surprised it was not overly sweet or overpriced. My friend and I received quick service. I can't wait to go again.

Love llama bar! It's the perfect place to catch a fun vibe and get work done. There is a DJ on Saturdays from 11am-4pm during their cafe party. The food is delicious and the staff is personable! I had the crispy rice hot honey salad and it DID NOT disappoint The salad is fresh and packed with flavor! The salmon is moist and seasoned with spices to complement the hot honey dressing. I haven't had any dish that wasn't to my liking at llama bar and the vibe is always on point! Coming back for the cafe party and to try the hot honey soy chicken! TikTok: @jasephsfavs

Great ambience, good service. The food is a bit pricey to be a regular spot but I'd come here again if I'm in the area.

We hoped to find a place that offered decaf coffee since it was late in the day, but really wanted something warm since it was a bit chilly outside. Unfortunately, this location of Toastique does not offer decaf - they only have a single hopper for their coffee, so it is not an offering. We were going to find another place, however, they said how about a hot chocolate or a tea. My friend is vegan and inquired if their hot cocoa was vegan, as most places have dairy in the chocolate. The cashier went to look at the chocolate syrup and also had another person look at it to verify it's vegan. My friend ordered a hot chocolate with oat milk. Even though it was busy, we only waited about 5 minutes for her drink. We appreciated the effort to double check it was vegan, though I do wish they had decaf options.

The bread was too chewy, which made it difficult to bite off because there was no proper angle of attack since the toast was large. With that many toppings, it really should have been pre-cut, especially for a takeout order. I could not even cut it properly with the plastic knife they gave. Flavor-wise, it was fine but underwhelming. The salmon was good, and everything seemed fresh, but the overall balance felt off. The cucumbers were plain, and the toast leaned dry, like it needed more sauce or spread to bring it together. For $18, it felt like a ratios problem more than a quality problem. Overall, it is not bad, but I left a little underwhelmed given the price.

As we were walking back towards our hotel, we actually were passing here so I chose it for our din din spot. I thought for sure it was going to be packed but luckily it was not. I knew I wanted a burger but was struggling with choosing which one. Hubs knew he wanted the Cheesesteak and knew I wanted fries. I went with the Smokehouse burger. We grabbed a seat and did not wait long for our food to come out. I really enjoyed my burger and scarfed it down! I paid for sauces, which were tiny and super overpriced. Hubs enjoyed his cheesesteak but he prefers meat. I had a bite and thought it was really flavorful and very closely tasting like the real thing. I noticed later this is a chain, which is pretty cool. I think the prices were pretty steep so I might skip on the fries next time. The food could have been warmer as well. Definitely worth a visit and will most likely be back when in DC again.

There's also sanitizer available too at the kiosk. The employees are very friendly, professional & highly social. All the times I've been here. They're always smiling and happy. Which is a major plus. The smoothies have always tasted amazing. They're usually thick and not watered down which is a major plus. Whenever a smoothie is thick. It means a good amount of fruit was used to make it which is very good since the smoothie is not heavily liquified. The overall environment is clean. It can be noisy at certain times due to it being a shared environment with L'Enfant Plaza. But most of the time it's quiet and relaxed. Also I've noticed after they make the smoothies they put the blender containers in the sink and rinse them. So many smoothie places take shortcuts and just reuse the same blender containers without rinsing in between orders which is bad. Here they actually thoroughly rinse the blender containers which is a major plus. The pricing isn't bad compared to other smoothie places. Also they carry various food items here too. I've always got the smoothies though because they're highly addictive. Lol.... The general crowd is mainly adults mostly government workers from inside of L'Enfant Plaza. But during various times. It's all different classes and ages because the spy museum which is next door attracts various tourists plus there's other food places nearby and people usually get food and smoothies. Also it's attached to the metro rail system. The overall noise level is normal for a retail environment. It can be noisy due to large crowds sometimes. But everyone is very mature. Most of the large groups of kids always have parental chaperones which keeps everyone disciplined and since there's various government offices nearby. There's a very high amount of visible security around which is a plus. Overall A+++++, The woman who works there during the day is a true angel. She's always smiling and even knows my order personally by heart. Customer for life.....
