Great Tea, better people! Lizzykate is my favorite tea shop for sure! They have dozens of different loose leaf teas to choose from. Anything from black teas, to herbals, greens, matchas, etc. they have it all! They have a menu of drinks to choose from, or they can brew any of their loose leaf tea options. All the staff, including the owners, are very kind and helpful! They have fantastic recommendations, and you can tell it's not just a business, but it's a passion. It's a great spot to get some work done, meet a friend, or just sit and relax with a fantastic cup of tea! My favorites are the Earl Grey Cream, Blueberry Fields, and Guava Strawberry.

I have been meaning to write a review about them for about six months now but it's one of those things where you have so much to say because there's such an amazing business that I'm procrastinating because I wanna make sure that my review truly reflects how great the experience is and how good the tea is and how genuinely good the owners are. I wanna be able to give all those details that convinces you that you need to go now and experience it yourself. So this tea shop is exactly like a coffee shop but instead of specializing in coffee, they specialize in tea. So you'll find an entire wall of all these different teas that you can try, you can also make them into tea lattes and all these specialty drinks that I don't have the memory to recall and include in this review. You'll just have to look it up or go and have them explain it to you One thing that's really nice is that if you don't know if a tea is going to be one that you'll truly enjoy, they'll let you smell it so you get a really strong understanding if you like it or not. They also all know the products so well that if you just give some brief descriptions they'll be able to Tell you the one or two that you'll really love And of course they have all the kinds of tea. White tea, green tea, black tea. Tea with caffeine and tea without caffeine and decaf tea You can add sugar or honey or milk or a milk alternative You can buy any of the teas to take home with you so you can enjoy them at home as well They have a ton of really cool and unique tea products in the store and they do a great job of rotating them so they're always seems to be something new that I want The store is always super clean and super bright and welcoming. It's done really nice where it feels like a place you do want to spend your time in. The service is always great because they really wanna help you find the right tea because they all absolutely love tea And they know all about it. On a lot of the weekends they will have "tea flights" that are super reasonable in price and get you to try five different teas. It's fun and a way to potentially find even more teas to enjoy. In my photos I included pictures of one of the tea flights that you could get on a given weekend. I often reach out to a friend to see if they wanna go do the tea flight experience with me since it's just a more unique thing to do. So what this ultimately means is that I've introduced a ton of my friends to this business and they all love it as much as I do including their delicious teas Their tea lattes are especially good so if you've never had one, it's definitely worth trying Another thing worth noting is that they're only two blocks from the waterfront so it's fun to grab a tea and walk down and enjoy the water Also because they're in downtown Kirkland where there's a ton of restaurants, it's nice to wander over after having a good meal to have some good tea You can enjoy your tea there or you can get it to go. They have a great loyalty program as well The owner seem like truly good and humble people and are very friendly and of course extremely knowledgeable And of course I should mention that you can get any of these teas iced as well. So really the sky is the limit in terms of tea there and how you like to take your tea. And it's great because there's so many options that you can try fun new things as well Enjoy your time there. The next thing you know you're gonna be on here writing a review about how much you enjoyed it as well

LizzyKate had been a long time Kirkland bookmark for several years. It even outlasted the bubble tea spot I had visited in the vicinity. I was finally able to visit LizzyKate on a late Friday afternoon (10/25/24). Clearly a popular meeting place. Tea enthusiasts, whether a regular or a first time visitor, all are welcome! Vast selection of teas on display and reminiscent of spots I've visited in Seattle and Edmonds. LizzyKate enables tea to be approachable due to very welcoming and knowledgeable staff. The varieties and blends spans two walls of the retail shop. There are also additional eye catching merch. Note to self - need to return for unique holiday gift shopping. I was able to sample onsite three brewed teas: white butterscotch, pumpkin spice chai, and stress relief. Information was also provided regarding ingredients, caffeine content, volume, steeping time and recommended temperature. In addition, this was an opportunity to sample onsite three distinct chocolate bars with the above teas. This allowed to note various flavor profiles based on the combinations consumed together. The chocolate samples were Kyoto ceremonial matcha white chocolate from Kessho, and the other two were from Raaka, green tea crunch with unroasted dark chocolate and chamomile lavender also with unroasted dark chocolate. I enjoyed this tea and chocolate tasting hosted by Yelp WA Eastside and LizzyKate. I ended up buying additional merchandise to recreate this at home. I bought the same Raaka bars listed above and also an Earl Grey one with unroasted dark chocolate. I also purchased freshly packed stoppered tubes of white butterscotch, stress relief, and tumeric chai. The sample tubes found at the wall display allows customers to see and smell the tea. I experienced a relaxing vibe and left with more pro tips and tea knowledge. Thank you LizzyKate!

Thanks to a yelp event , I was able to find this gem! I never knew it was here , and I've lived in Redmond for over 10 yrs. This tea shop is cozy, warm and welcoming. The staff is very friendly and approachable. If you want to try tea, they got it! They had an array of different kinds of tea. I tried the butterscotch and it was delicious. I cannot wait to come back for their events and learn more about tea. Ps. A perfect girls day activity

I went to a Yelp Tea and Chocolate tasting and discovered a new place to have a nice cup of tea and snacks. I met the husband and wife ownership team and learned that LizzyKate has been here for over 8 years and survived COVID. While here, I purchased a 2 ounce package of the Masala Chai tea (cuz I love caffeine!) and a box of the Halloween Tea and Treat Pairing for later use. They offer a rotating flight of teas at the front counter and you can get free self refills anytime. And those front counter teas were warmed by a tea light which is the absolute first time I've ever seen tea lights in use for their original purpose! The staff informed me that the Fall and Winter are their busiest seasons and they are trying to make more Iced Tea offerings (Chai Latte anyone?) to get the business up in the other two seasons. I'm normally a coffee/espresso drinker and that likely won't change anytime soon (Yay Italy!) but I can see the benefits of an occasional nice cup of tea. I will be taking my oldest daughter here one day as she is a fan of tea.

The owner Amy is lovely! She provides so much knowledge and kindness. Very helpful selecting a present for a friend. They have various tea and tea 'accessories' . A one stop place for buying gifts for a friend. Tried their matcha latte tea today. Although not my favorite (can be a little stronger, more matcha to milk ratio). But love how cute it is in a glass mug. Usually like most of the tea they serve and always a good experience with great service so will still give it a 5 star.

    Juz C.

I love their staff. They were very knowledgeable shot the teas they sell. My favorite has been the stress relief because it had that sweet undertone in the tea. I think they said it has something to do with stevia leaves in it. The overall ambiance of the place is relaxing and definitely love their tea display and how u can try to test smell of their teas.

I'm already a big tea lover so I was so glad to find this spot. The owners are very knowledgeable about tea and were a delight to chat with. They also do tea flights on the weekends! Can't wait to come back.

I am a tea lover, so I went to LizzyKate Tea. This small-batch tea company is based in the Pacific Northwest and produces some of the most delicious and unique tea blends around. Their selection is vast, with a range of black, green, white, and herbal teas to choose from. They use high-quality ingredients and blend them together in creative ways, resulting in teas that are both delicious and complex. They are committed to sustainability. They source their tea from ethical and sustainable suppliers, and use eco-friendly packaging for the most part. They offer a variety of sampler sets so you can try a bunch of different teas and find your favorites. Talking to the helpful staff was revealing about brewing methods and tea culture. We got the green tea sencha reserve pot. Also got the apple caramel latte. Enjoyed both, Give them a try, and you won't be disappointed!

A tea-lover's paradise! They have quality tea steepers (hot and cold), mugs, and a wall of black, green, herbal, and white teas. You can smell the test tube samples. I love places with unique blends and this place certainly has that. There's only a handful of tables but it doesn't get too busy. Staff are super friendly!

Cute tea cafe in Kirkland. Lots of seating area to study or catch up with friends. They have loose leaf teas you can buy or some special drinks. I got the Maple Hojicha which was quite good for a cloudy day. They're very friendly and quick with orders.

London Fog & Cuckoo for Coconut
    Sarah M.

What a lovely little tea/coffee shop. A delightfully aesthetic interior, with a yummy menu offering both iced and hot options. I got the iced Cuckoo for Coconut and my boyfriend got the iced London fog. It was so hard to choose what to order, everything sounded delicious. My coconut was soft, flavorful, and refreshing. His London fog was perfectly creamy while the tea flavor still showed through. I noticed there was a sign during check out that they add a 15% tip to every credit card order unless you explicitly state otherwise... I was a little taken aback by reading that. I recognize they do not feel comfortable letting customers interact with the POS interface, but I feel it would be better practice to ask the customer if they would like to tip rather than sneaking it on there. Overall, the location is great and the drinks were delightful. Also seems like a great place to get some work done. We look forward to coming back and trying more!

They don't have seats tables to linger. Considering how expensive Kirkland is, it is perfectly understandable. In the past, I was visually lured by their IG friendly drinks such as the strawberry matcha latte. I hated it. They serve it in a non-shakable cup, and it is impossible to properly stir the thick strawberry jam into the beverage. On this cold February day with no lines, I spent the time to ask questions, and we landed on the Bobaejicha, which is roasted green tea hojicha milk tea. For the hard care tea drinkers, hojicha is often a fav. They did right by the hojicha with the smoky tea, soothed with milk, and a touch of sweetness at 25%. It tasted good at 0% also, but I had her add the sugar after a few sips, so I can try both variants. I realized I prefer a 0% by the second half of the cup. Their house made brown sugar syrup adds a caramel taste when mixed with the smoky hojicha. Both variants are good. It was a fun chat to figure out my drink away from photo influences.

We ordered the royal milk tea with boba and the special peach oolong milk tea with boba and lychee jelly. I did not want lychee jelly, and instead wanted pudding. We could not adjust the toppings on the kiosk. The staff did help me adjust it manually to give me pudding instead of lychee jelly. That was nice. However, the royal milk tea we ordered came out with boba. I obviously didn't notice until after we took our photos, left the shop, and took a few sips, so we went back in to let the staff know. First, she said she would re-use the drink and sift out the boba to replace it with pudding. I declined that offer and requested they make a new one. Then, another staff member joked saying she would drink my already drunk from, old boba. Then, they threw it into the trash. Talk about waste :( finally, they remade it but gaslit me telling me that I had actually ordered boba, and they didn't believe me that I had actually put in pudding. Given that I had ordered from the kiosk, I told them they can just look it up and see I wasn't lying, but she rudely said "well I already made it." They didn't even put a sticker/label on my remade drink. The worst part is, the peach oolong was really bad and the boba was especially bad. Overcooked and bland. I wouldn't come here again for the tea or the service. The shop itself is clean and decorated with cars and anime. There is car-themed seating and a large, free parking lot.

I love the overall environment of downtown Kirkland, so I was really excited to finally try this spot since it's been on my radar for a while. I was also meeting a friend, which made the experience even better. I ordered their pizza scone, and it looked so good, and it definitely delivered. It was warm, crusty, and had such a unique flavor combination. I've honestly never had anything like it before, and it just felt perfect for a spring morning. I also got a hot chocolate, which wasn't my favorite. It leaned more on the watery side. The space itself is really nice and spacious. They have plenty of seating in both the front and back, which is great whether you're meeting friends or getting work done. Their menu is also pretty extensive, with options like sandwiches, pastries, drip coffee, matcha, vanilla lattes pretty much everything you'd expect from a café. One thing I appreciated was how fast the service was. Our order came out in less than two minutes, which was impressive, especially given how busy it was. The staff were also super friendly, which always makes a difference. Overall, I really enjoyed the vibe here. Seattle-Area Boba Shop Review #80…read more After a poor boba experience at the Capitol Hill location, I wasn't expecting much out of Meetea Cafe in Redmond. Still, since this is the only non-chain boba shop in Redmond, and I was in the area for an event, I decided to give it a chance. The menu at this location is a bit different, since it doesn't allow tea selection for the milk tea at the kiosk. There are two kiosks even though I doubt this place gets too busy, given that it was just after lunch at 1PM on a Sunday, and there was only one other party inside. Boba Milk Tea, 30% Sweet, 50% Ice w/ Boba ($6.75) - The milk tea is a very pleasing almost orangish color that's actually quite a fragrant, tasting more similar to a Ceylon than an Assam that most other boba shops use. There's a caramelized milky sweetness to the drink, like they use pure condensed milk as a sweetener. It all combines together to give vaguely Hong Kong-style milk tea notes. At 30% sweet, it's pleasingly only slightly sweet, much better than the harsh sweetness at 50% from the other location. Note this drink comes with boba by default, but I wasn't paying attention and ended up adding additional boba (adds 75 cents). At least, I think there was an additional order in the cup, given that it seemed to be a larger amount of boba than is usual. The boba is surprisingly pretty good. While the pearls are smooth, not that sweet, and are a bit inconsistent in size, they have a surprisingly good bounce and the chew is quite good, albeit a tiny bit on the firm side. Overall much better than what I received on Capitol Hill. Milk Tea Rating: 4/5 Boba Rating: 4.5/5 I was really surprised at the quality of the drink I received at this Meetea location. On top of that, when I ordered my drink, iced green tea with creama and lychee jelly, she handed me the wrong drink, just a regular green milk tea with lychee jelly and when I asked her about to she replied in a bit of a snarky way saying that's the drink I ordered even when it literally says in my receipt what I had ordered. Perhaps this is why she was really stingy with my toppings, but I don't think I was in the wrong... Although this is only one bad experience out of multiple good experiences, I don't think I'd risk coming here again especially when boba prices have been increasing...

My mom recently had a 75th birthday and the woman loves a sweet treat! I know that when I would fly over from NY, this would be one of our first stops. I wanted to take both my parents out for coffee and dessert. Our waitress was an absolute dream. The service was so stellar that morning. Yes, we ate cake at 9:39 am but it was way after our breakfast and before our nice walk in downtown Kirkland. We looked at the desserts before sitting down. There was a tray of a rhubarb crumb that looked good. I asked for that and the chocolate cake. I ordered a large cappuccino, my dad an americano and my mom got a latte. While the coffees were being made someone came in and snagged the whole tray because of Mother's Day. We made a decision to get the carrot cake. Secretly I think my dad was hoping for a Carrot Cake. We enjoyed both cakes and the cake slices were huge! I love baking myself and understand ingredients are not cheap so I believe they are very much worth the price. The space was nice and clean. Everyone's food around us looked delicious. I will definitely be back to try out the food next time I come to visit.

Their phone got hung up immediately each time when I called 3 times outside the door. Knocked the door and a lady opened the door rudely. No communication of any kind and she straightly went back to her seat and continued playing with her phone. My drink was sitting at the counter but she said nothing about it. No apologies, no eye contact, no talking of any kind. No wonder my order was still #1 when I placed it 40 minutes after it opened. The drink (fruit tea) has a strong taste and smell of sanitizer. I threw away the $8 drink.

We tried the taro sago latte (even at 100% sweetness it was not sweet at all) and the yifang fruit tea with sago (which at 50% sugar was so incredibly sweet, tasted like my entire sugar allotment for the week)! The sago is nice though. For those who don't know sago are tiny, clear, somewhat chewy balls of starch (mouthfeel sort of like the little rice balls in tapioca pudding), and much smaller than the typical tapioca boba. I probably wouldn't get either drink again, but next time I might try the mango pomelo sago or just a regular milk tea with boba.
