Livermore Ford service is the worst in the Bay Area. Might as well drive a few miles more and head to Walnut Creek Ford. They charged me close to $1000 for my first service for my Bronco with 7000 miles on it. The Ford recommended service was ~$150, they added on about $800 worth of completely unnecessary dealer service items. I asked them to keep the filters so I could inspect them, and as I suspected, they were very clean and didn't need replacing. There were a bunch of other such completely unnecessary work done. Will never be going back to Livermore Ford. read more

Took almost 45 mins to drop the vehicle off for an oil change after being handed around by different service advisors. Then, "the works" package (oil change, tire rotation, general checkup) now costs ~$180? Maybe more? I was shocked. Ended up doing just an oil change, which doesn't include a filter, that's $17 extra. $132 for a bare bones an oil change. Asked about some other minor intermittent issue that should be covered under FORDS extended warranty. ~$360 for a diagnostic charge. "Might"get it back through the warranty. Checked in with Tracy Ford, $89 for the whole works package. $245 for their diagnostic service, didn't even ask if that was regular or warranty covered. Then got passed around a little bit picking the truck up. So, not only do their vehicles have extreme markups; so does the service department. Like many others have said, Tracy or Walnut Creek. I will give a shoutout for Folsom Ford for helping me with an issue promptly and for The Ford Store Morgan Hill for the purchase. No markup in 2022 during shortages AND even gave me my discount through work. Livermore Ford would do neither and wanted an extra 25k or something ridiculous. read more

I made an appointment for an oil change and when I arrived on the sales person at Service told me good. I'm so glad you're coming in because my boss was getting on me because no one was coming in, in other words, and then he proceeded to tell me that I needed a huge list of inspections to be performed, even when I gave him a history. I was charged $2500 when I went in for just an oil change. Less than learned. I won't be going there ever again. My brother owns a shop and my brother-in-law also repairs and now I happily drive 50 miles for my car care and oil changes. I'm not surprised the ratings are so low here. Still holding onto this 5 star rating from me! This time around, I came in for service. Hamayun took excellent care of me. I made an appointment two weeks in advance for a recall, window rattle and a transmission issue. I pulled up at 9:40 am on a Thursday and was the first person in line. I was promptly greeted by one of the really helpful lot attendants who escorted me to the service desk inside. Told Hamayum my issues, he set me up with a rental, Enterprise came and got me. It was all effortless and stress free which I more than appreciate especially since I was supposed to be at home working (shhhh!). I was called when promised with an update and then again when my car was ready. Upon arrival, once again, I was promptly greeted by the same attendant, signed some papers after an explanation of the services performed and back on the road again. I forgot my phone in the rental and before I realized where I had left it, they brought it to my car. My oil change is coming up in 1k miles and I'll drive over the hill again to bring them my business instead of having the local Ford dealer come and pick it up from me. Like other reviews they tried to add on additional add ons said the owner makes them put the add ons and they can't take them off. They ended up taking them off when I explained you can't do that. SCAM ARTISTS. I took my Explorer in to get a diagnostic on the sunroof because it would not crack or slide open. They told me it would need a new motor, between the part and labor it was far too much money than what it was worth so I just said I'll take my vehicle back and live with a sunroof that doesn't open. They only then told me that they had manually cracked open the sunroof and couldn't get it closed again. They said the only way to get it closed was to get a new motor. After a lot of back and forth they gave me a tiny discount on the labor, but I am still being forced to pay far too much money for their mistake. I will not be coming back to this dealership for service or sales. read more

It was a very good experience and she definitely helped us in moving forward to make the right choices within our budget. Highly recommend to request Sara with your next appointment service. I had to take a star off this review - due to my surprise ... paying with my credit card, I was charged an additional fee of 3% for using my credit card. I was not informed of this ahead of time and felt that... the cost of doing business was transferred to me ( the consumer ). This should have been disclosed during the finalization prior to authorizing the work. About 3 weeks ago, almost cut a deal on a truck, that's been on their lot for months, but the floor manager wanted to argue over $2500..... 2 days later, we ended up getting a beautiful Silverado instead, from Dublin Chevrolet, and we couldn't be happier! Drove past Ford yesterday and the truck is still there.... I hope those lot fees are fun to pay and well over the $2500 you wanted to fight over. Do better. Livermore Ford is trash. Update- I called and spoke to Sal (General sales Manager) - and he essentially told me too bad. It's not a safety thing so we wouldn't even fix it if we noticed before. This is the kind of checks they do when selling cars. If it was just a normal usb issue, it wouldn't be an issue... but this makes the infotainment system useless which is a major experience of a car. Would not recommend this stealership at all ... shady business and shady management. Background: 2022 Challenger - Terrible stealership! Would not recommend! Shame on me for not testing this, but literally finished the deal, went to plug in the usb be cable and boom nothing worked. Didn't even drive off the lot yet and already broken part with their so call 180 point inspection.... The car is even ford blue certified and they essentially told me "too bad, as is" ... normally I wouldn't mind with a simple usb break ... but Apple CarPlay isn't available without it... so basically makes the whole infotainment system useless. I'm writing to express my deep concern and disappointment regarding a recent issue with my vehicle an issue that has left me not only frustrated, but questioning the value and integrity of the maintenance and protection plans I've trusted through Livermore Ford. I've been a loyal customer since 2016, having purchased and diligently maintained two vehicles through this dealership. I've also invested in both maintenance packages and extended warranties for peace of mind--believing that this would ensure proper care and protection for my vehicle. In December 2024, during routine maintenance at their service department, the brakes and calipers were marked "green"--indicating no cause for concern. Fast forward to April 4, 2025, I found myself paying $2,145.49 out-of-pocket to replace pads, calipers, and warped rotors--issues that, based on the December inspection, should never have escalated to this point if properly assessed. To add insult to injury, I was informed that neither my protective plan nor my maintenance package covered the necessary repairs. At this point, I can't help but feel scammed. Not just by the fine print of the protection plan, but by the apparent failure in the service department's December inspection--a failure that now costs me dearly. It is impossible to get great customer service these days, but she was knowledgeable, patient and spent extra time to find the running boards that he wanted. This was not just poor service; it was willful deception and a complete disregard for accountability, professionalism, and customer trust. I purchased a 2020 Expedition Platinum from Livermore Ford in August 2025. Within six days the transmission failed, and they kept the vehicle for 62 days. I was only offered a loaner after demanding one more than 30 days in--after paying over $1,000 out-of-pocket for rentals. A foolish attempt to be civil and share costs on what I thought was just an unfortunate circumstance. The real holdup turned out to be that the dealership attempted to back-date a false Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) status to make Ford cover the repair, even though my sale was clearly marked "As-Is." Apparently, defrauding a publicly traded corporation takes time. When I called this out to the service manager in person, he actually replied, "I know." Ford denied the claim, and the dealer ultimately paid for the transmission themselves. Ford Corporate was responsive but ultimately powerless to hold their franchisee accountable, beyond documenting the misconduct. Livermore Ford never returned Ford's calls either. If you believe corporate oversight will protect you, you'll be disappointed, even when Ford itself is being defrauded by its own franchisee. When I finally picked up the vehicle, it was scratched, dirty, and missing $1,300 in paid add-ons (VIN etching and Cilajet paint protection) that were never performed. I made multiple professional, documented outreach attempts--via email, phone, and text to the Service Manager, General Manager, and Dealer Group CEO. All were ignored. Every detail is verified in writing and visible in Ford's own systems. If you're considering doing business here--or working here--don't. These practices are systemic, reckless, and deceptive. If any law enforcement or consumer protection professionals wish to review the evidence, I'm prepared to provide documentation, including Ford system records, emails, and text communications. The singular worst customer experience I have ever witnessed or endured. A clear pattern of negligence, misrepresentation, and abuse of customer trust and money. read more

Overall, my car-buying experience here was quick and straightforward. I was at the dealership for about two hours total, with the longest wait being for the car to be detailed and gassed up. Negotiating the price was simple, and I appreciated working with Hamid Hassan. Final paperwork took about 20 minutes, and communication before the purchase was great. Unfortunately, communication after the sale has been very limited. Within two days of purchase, I noticed a braking issue where the car would shake at speeds around 25 mph, which raised safety concerns. I contacted the dealership less than a week after purchase and explained that the front brake rotors needed replacement. I was told I would need to speak with a manager regarding reimbursement, but that never happened. I replaced the front rotors myself within a week of owning the car @ a cost of $380 due to the safety concern. Despite multiple calls and emails over the past month, I have not received a response. After weeks of searching different dealerships in the Bay Area, Livermore Ford left me feeling the most happy with my decision in the end. I worked with both Dan the car man and Jay Nadi. Both of these guys truly represented excellent customer service. They both went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and knowledgeable about my decision. $600 to Tell Me What I Already Told Them -- I brought my Mach-E in for a broken charging port door and software update failures I've been reporting for years. They charged me $295 to tell me the 12V battery was low (a problem I've repeatedly brought to their attention) and another $295 to confirm the charging door was... broken -- exactly what I told them when I dropped it off. To top it off, I was incorrectly charged a 3% credit card fee even though I paid with debit. Multiple follow-ups -- including showing them in person -- ended with "we can't do anything." Nearly $600 for diagnoses I provided, a problem still unresolved after years, and no willingness to fix an obvious overcharge. Received a couple of recall notices for my 23 Maverick. The first was about a year ago. Brought it in and thought it was fixed. Got a second recall notice and ignored it for several months. Finally, got a call from Livermore Ford asking to bring it in. I was nearing an oil change so I decided to schedule for Saturday morning at 8 (8/9/25). No one at service department. there. Called at 8:20 while I was waiting there and left a message. Finally at around 9 someone began to assist the 6-7 customers waiting. I got out of there about 9:30. Apparently after the visit a year ago the problem wasn't fixed. Again, last Saturday, after picking up my truck I read it still wasn't fixed. I spent $40 on an Uber, asked my daughter for a ride to the dealership, spent nearly 2 hours in the morning getting it there, had an oil change which could have waited a few more months, and they didn't fix the recall issue (back up camera software issue). When I discovered they hadn't fixed the recall I requested, on Saturday afternoon, a mobile service tech to come to my home today (8/11/25 at 10am). Called to confirm this morning and they said they had no record of the appointment. After this morning calling to confirm they said they would send a tech. Will see. Side note: The service person who called last week also offered a 25% discount on service work. When picking up the truck on Saturday afternoon I was handed me a bill without the discount. He said he didn't know about it. They printed a 2nd invoice with the discount applied. This is the classic case of "what we have here........... is a failure.........to communicate". read more

I recently purchased a F150 lighting from this dealership on November 22, 2024. The sales person sold me the car. He quit the job right after Thanksgiving. So after Thanksgiving, I'm trying to contact the dealership for the after sales to adjust some issues about the New vehicle. No one could answer my questions and no reply on the text. If your empolyee leave so someone will be assign to take care the job he does not finish. No body tell me i did not pick up the second key, nobody tell me that the car come with the mobile charger. I have to find out all these by myself. I am lucking enough to meet the sales helping my sales on the day i am purchasing my car Jay. He will be able to arrange me a appointment for the after sales issue. It took me almost one week to adjust all the issue to get my new vehicle back. The service department for this dealership was professional and patient. The sales told me he will be able to give me a 4 season floor mats as a complementary gift. After he leaves, I won't be able to get my complementary gift even though I have the text message screenshot prove it won't be help. If you trying to purchase a vehicle from this dealership. Be aware, checking all your numbers before you sign your document. I got charge for 2752 dollar options on top of the msrp which they pre install on the vehicle wont be took off. Like prrtfolio gps and express etch. also cilajet fe product. Basiclly it is people saying on the internet dealer use to mark up price on the vehicle. They are selling options that you dont need for the car. They also tell me that all the vehicle they selling is all pre install with this options. Make sure you check the number they put on the paper for you is different than the price they showing on the website. Make sure you check all the number before you sign any paper. Make sure you got all your complementary option before you sign your paper or make them give you a prove before the deal done. Because that day was so late and so tired. I did make my mistake on the paper work. After a couple days to realize price on the paper is different than the original offer. My friend happen to bought the same vehicle on thanks giving and we will be able to do comparison on the price and did find out what is happening. I'm writing a review to RAVE review about the extraordinary customer service I received from the Fleet Service Advisor, Louis Lanza. I came in for a simple recall issue with my Ford F250, where they needed to access the spare tire through the keyed access. The keyed access had been tampered with before the truck was purchased. To get the keyed entry off, it had to be broken to remove. The repair shop assumed it was tampered with by the owner "me", but this was not the case. Louis Lanza placed the order to replace the lock assembly (because it was the right thing to do). He continued to 'fight the good fight' for the customer. In the end, I was provided a new lock assembly, and Ford has a continued customer. James read more

How can you be that off? Also what was promised a one day fix became 3 days b/c they ordered parts incorrectly and then they need to add additional fixes mid way through. How is this acceptable? Landon and Buck were horrible to work with. I called in with interest in a car, I had them instantly send me a credit application which they did. I filled out the credit report and submitted instantly and followed up multiple times throughout the day and they went ghost. Finally at the end of the day a separate sales rep informs me they sold the car to somebody else. Also, I was told my credit check would be a soft inquiry but no, they ran a hard inquiry without my consent hitting my credit report. There's a lot of places to buy a car. I've owned my Explorer for nine years and had consistently positive service experiences--until recently. In April of this year, I brought the vehicle to Livermore Ford due to an issue with the steering wheel. According to the service report, the issue was diagnosed as a loose engine mount and other related problems, and the total cost was approximately $2K. However, shortly after the service, I began noticing oil leaks--visible as oily drips beneath the vehicle. More concerningly, the steering wheel issue reappeared just three weeks later. Before I could follow up, I received a call from Livermore Ford in early June regarding a recall on my vehicle. I scheduled an appointment and asked that they also inspect the recurring steering wheel issue and the new oil leak during that visit. The following day, I was contacted and informed that the oil leak was due to a faulty gasket, which would require replacement at a cost of over $800. My car remained at the dealership for nearly a week with no updates. I called them several times, only to be told that the technicians were still working on it. During the call, I clearly reminded them to also address the steering wheel problem as we discussed when I was dropping of the vehicle. When I was finally informed that the service was complete, I went to pick up the vehicle--only to find that the bill had increased to $1,200. After I requested a correction, it was reduced to over $900. To my surprise, I was then informed that neither the recall work nor the steering wheel issue had been addressed. The service advisor stated that they "did not have time" for the recall and were "not aware" of the steering wheel concern, despite my repeated reminders, which makes me extremely frustrated. read more

I bought a car at this dealership and had the worst experience. They tell you what you want to hear but never actually follow up. They sold me a car that had expired tags and never submitted my payment to the DMV. After repeated calls and threats to report them, they finally sent me my proper license plates and stickers (took several attempts and I even had to drive back to the dealership twice to get that and other issues taken care of).
