Love the meat quality here!!! And the iPad to call waiters where you can specify what you need is such a good idea. The handmade fish balls are cool and taste good as well. I also really like the variety of the sauce bar and the dessert bar. The mango sago, sichuan chicken, and sweet and sour chicken was so good. Kind of egregious to charge extra for sauce bar though. The fried pork was also not that good.

Would definitely come again! The food was fresh and everything was super flavorful. I loved how they also gave you large plastic bags to place your jacket and bags in to protect them from the smell. Overall, the service was also very quick and friendly! One interesting thing that I haven't experienced in other hotpot restaurants was that the sauce bar was extra (a few dollars extra per person), but it was all very good and worth the price! I also really appreciated that they had a well-stocked dessert bar, to make our own versions of bing fen.

This hot pot restaurant offers fresh ingredients and super flavorful broths. Unlike many other hot pot places I've been to, the sauce bar comes at an extra cost. However since the broths are so flavorful, you are not missing much by skipping the sauce bar. Ordering is done through an iPad. The staff were friendly. They offer covers for your jackets so your jacket won't smell like hotpot by the time you leave. We went on a Thursday and were told it would be about a 20-minute wait, we ended up waiting close to an hour.

I'll admit the marketing got me, and I'm probably taking it out here. They advertised a $21.99 AYCE, but after all the additional fees, it came out to $43 per person. The Australian wagyu was sliced so thin that I couldn't really tell the quality, but it was pretty tasty. The lamb was super gamey, so I wouldn't recommend that, but the fish fillet was very tender. There's also a good variety at the side dish bar such as Sichuan cold chicken, which was a nice surprise. That said, I still don't think the meal was worth $43, hence the 3 stars.

Great for Mother's Day late meal. We've visited several resturaunts and enjoyed some unique options here. Ordering on an iPad was helpful. It made it easy to put in orders for add on items. Loved the side bar! For sauces and extras. A casual vibe with upscale menu items available. We've tried several of the locations in the area, loved it here. we'll be back!

This place was always packed when we walked by at night so we had to try it. This isn't an AYCE type of hot pot, you scan a QR code on the table and each item is priced individually. This works especially well when some people in your party may not be too hungry but want to join you for dinner. We got in pretty late so some items were sold out but everything we ordered was excellent. They have a complimentary sauce bar, appetizers, and sweets at a designated area. What blew me away was that there was a cold chicken dish that was an appetizer and it was delicious, just that alone I could eat at this place. Service was attentive, they refilled our water throughout service and removed plates quickly. Definitely a must try Hot Pot place while you're in town.

very good food and service Nice environment Very good place to go in Chicago and especially in Chinatown

### Liuyishou Hot Pot - A Must-Do in Boston! If you love hot pot, **Liuyishou Hot Pot** at **702 Washington St, Boston, MA 02111** is an absolute must-visit! Whether you're a seasoned hot pot pro or a first-timer, this spot delivers an **interactive, delicious, and warming** dining experience that's perfect for the cold months--or really, any time you're craving comfort food with a customizable twist. ### Step 1: Pick Your Broth Liuyishou has a fantastic selection of broths, and we went all in with three: **Tomato Broth** - A rich and slightly sweet option that pairs well with everything. **Signature Spicy Broth** - This one **packs serious heat**, so spice lovers, you've been warned! But the depth of flavor is next level. **Coconut Broth** - This was a standout! They literally cut a coconut at the table and add fresh coconut pieces into the broth. It's an **instant winter cure** --mild, slightly sweet, and incredibly comforting. ### Step 2: Choose Your Meats We went **all out** with **Australian Wagyu**, and honestly, it was **worth every bite**. The marbling on the beef was incredible, and when cooked in the hot broth, it melted in our mouths. If you're a meat lover, this is the way to go! ### Step 3: Load Up on Sides & Veggies One of the best things about hot pot is the sheer **variety** of add-ons. We loaded up on fresh veggies, mushrooms, tofu, and other classic hot pot essentials. ### Step 4: Sip on Some Boba Because what's a feast without a little balance? We grabbed some **boba tea**, which was a fun and refreshing contrast to the rich, savory broths. ### DIY Ice Cream No meal is complete without dessert, and Liuyishou lets you **DIY your own ice cream**--a fun, sweet way to wrap things up! ### Pro Tip: Definitely opt for the **all-you-can-eat sauce bar** ($7 per person). You can mix and match flavors to create your own **perfect dipping sauce**--whether you want something garlicky, spicy, tangy, or nutty. ### ‍‍‍ Final Thoughts This is a **great spot for families, groups, and even date nights**. The atmosphere is cozy despite having a lot of tables, so you can enjoy a **personal, immersive dining experience** while cooking your own meal at the table. **Affordability:** 7/10 (We spent a little over $100, but you get a lot of food!) **Ambiance:** 7/10 (Busy but comfortable--ideal for both casual outings and cozy dates.) **Food Quality:** 8/10 (Great broth flavors and high-quality ingredients, with tons of variety.) **Verdict?** If you love **interactive dining, bold flavors, and a feast-worthy experience**, **Liuyishou Hot Pot** is a **must-try in Boston!**

We've been trying to try this place for months, but it's always so busy we can never get in and I totally get why. We came to celebrate a birthday with seven people. We got such a large amount of food, but when we got the bill we were shocked at what an amazing price for the amount of food you got. We had two pots of three soup bases, two fantastic beef and lamb, a few things of vegetables and rice and all ended up so full and happy. The flavors were all amazing and so much variety. Everything came out so fast and it was delicious. It's kind of crowded, but the larger booths can fit at least eight people comfortably. We will definitely be back.

This was our first time out to a hot pot restaurant, and I'm already thinking of going back! We had so much fun. When we arrived, we were given an iPad to select what we wanted to eat. This was great because by the time we were seated, our food arrived to the table super quickly. We ordered the pork broth soup base which was delicious. The more it boiled, the better the flavor became. I was confused by the tomatoes and cucumbers in the soup, but honestly it made it look pretty! To go along with the soup, we ordered veggies (corn, enoki mushrooms, bok choy), some noodles, fish fillet, and a meat platter with beef tongue and another meat (i forgot what it was). I wasn't a huge fan of the fish, but everything else in the broth was great! It was lots of fun dipping the meat into the boiling soup and watching it cook quickly. We also got some rice to eat with the meat. Something that I also enjoyed was the sauce buffet, which Ive seen in videos of people eating at different hot pot places. I was excited to finally try it on my own. They had such a variety of ingredients and bases for the sauce, it was honestly hard to choose! There were also spring rolls and pig ears which was awesome to eat before our food arrived. After eating our fill of hot soup, the one thing I crave is a cold dessert. This place has you covered with their soft serve ice cream machine, and small dessert buffet with sago, boba, and fruits. Overall, this was a great experience and next time I definitely want to try other flavors of broth and different meat! TL;DR: try the house pork soup base if you are new to hot pot, it has a great flavor that pairs well with all meats and add ons. Make a sauce at the buffet to add more flavor to your food. To round out your meal, treat yourself to some ice cream! Yum.

The quality has gone downhill. I came here last year after work, and everything was fresh, including the broth, which was savory. This time, the ingredients are mediocre, but as long as the meat is fresh, we're fine. We ordered the house special and tomato broth, both of which were bland. The fruit tea is usually good, but this time, it's more like a sugary drink; it's better to order boba tea at other boba tea shops if you want refreshment.

Wife and her work team came here for team dinner. Hope it was good, I did catch a glimpse inside, passing through earlier in the day. Has combo for 1 between lunch and 4:00pm I think. Well Maybe next time.

In comparing this to Qiao Lin, Qiao Lin takes the win for me, personally. Definitely recommend making a reservation, as it's always packed. I do appreciate that they give you plastic covers to wear so you don't reek of hot pot after. The included snacks they give are pretty good, but they were often out and waiting to be replaced, and the ice cream machine was out of order that day. I tried the tomato broth which was very good, and the ingredients were all pretty fresh. Service was pretty attentive as well, so if invited I would still definitely come back!

To find a good place to go and Happy Lamb for the bill. We arrived early, doors still closed but the vestibule was available for us to sit while waiting. In the vestibule they have their menu posted so we browsed while waiting and had decided on what we wanted. Doors open and immediately sat at a table with flat burners. Decor is Asian themed with plenty of seating. Space is well utilized. Menu given and order taken. Once the hot soup portion was done and our protein picked out off to the buffet portion of this experience. They have three large shelves coolers with multiple shelves filled with veggies, noodles, and fish to add to your hot pot experience. They also offered hot apps and fried rice. Our two broths in one pot arrived and the fun began. Different flavor combinations as well as texture. My husband had a little bit of a hard time because we were given two spoons for both broths. I had the slotted one and he had the regular spoon so he had a hard time fishing out his add ons. Once we realized this was an issue we were given more spoons. Service was great, clarified items for us and was there when ever we needed. We made the mistake of reading too fast and thought we ordered beef tongue when it was beef TRIPE! It was gray and not appetizing. Tasted it and it wasn't bad. We really enjoyed and will be back.

We weren't made aware of this when we came in, but not a big deal. We asked if the 90 minutes was to order or to leave, and the staff said to order. We then placed a final order and they took it. 10 mins later, a waitress comes by and abruptly says our time is up, we can't finish our food because there are other people waiting for tables, and starts clearing our plates and dumping everything into the broth pot. The 2 plates of beef and fish they just brought out went straight into the pile, wasted. Why take the order if you'll give us 2 mins from when you give it to us to cook and swallow everything? We were just shocked more than anything, and left with a bad taste in our mouths. The worst parts were we realized the family sitting next to us were there before us and still there when we basically got kicked out. Second, the staff lied because there was no line outside and 3-4 large tables open as we were leaving. Truly a disappointing experience - will not be going back to this location.

One dish I would recommend is Xi'an Cold Rice noodles, it's an appetizer but was on par for a dish. The proportion was on the larger side and it had a perfect spice, all I have to say was it was delicious and for $9.95 you cannot go wrong. The dan dan noodles were good, but I would say the cold noodles were better. The golden buns were also great, a classic dish that is always loved with a great crisp. We did get the wrong sushi roll, unsure if they misheard us or if they thought we pointed to a different one but I'm glad they did because the Thunder Roll was delicious. I think it was the yellowtail that was on top that tied everything together, it was just really good. Overall a great place for dishes if you haven't tried it before you won't be disappointed.

We had a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon for less than $40 b As an operations guy, my suggestion to management would be to suggest two things: 1. The salmon sashimi I had was a bit cold. It may be because I was at the 5:30 seating, but it taste better cool, but not cold. 2. Not sure where the bottles of wine are stored, but our cab was warm. Analogous to the sushi, red wine is better cool to room temperature vs warm. Again, I am a big fan of this place. Minced Beef Claypot Rice免治牛煲仔飯: Surprisingly, the minced beef was served in a thickened meat sauce. However, the seasoning was a bit bland, so I added three extra spoonfuls of soy sauce.
