The way it works is everything is ordered a la carte. There was plenty in the serving to justify the price. Because I was alone they had me sit at the bar. I selected fungus and hot so they served it as one broth. I would request a table in the future. I ordered the lamb with bean sprouts and mushrooms and combined them in the hot pot. There is a condiment bar where they have the different components such as Mali, sesame oils broken out so I knew exactly what I was adding. Each table has it's own hot pot with them segmented so it is possible to have more than I type of broth Or parkour by was in the street. Given it was move in weekend for the college, parking was limited. I would return but they ticket on Sundays.

Everyone was super nice. It's okay for a late night thing if everything else is closed. The meat was okay, veggie was mid omg the mushroom was actually so sad. But it's 10% off after 10 if you like to eat late

Came for the all you can eat dinner and it was honestly not great. First of all, the price was $42.99 which is probably the most expensive AYCE hotpot I've ever been to. Then, the actual selection of items didn't really differ that much from other hot pot places. I honestly think if we had ordered the same amount of food but at normal price instead of AYCE prices, we'd have saved a bunch of money. The actual quality of the ingredients was fair, but nothing over the top. The broths we chose (beef bone and tom yum) didn't have a ton of flavor, and it was difficult to tell the beef from the lamb on taste alone. The pork belly was the best cut of meat, even though at other places I normally favor the beef and lamb, and the seafood was decent. The service was also...strange. We ordered everything at the beginning and they brought out these heaping plates of meat, vegetables, and even some dessert items. We sat there looking at all of the food, but the place for the actual broths on the burner remained empty. We didn't get our broths until 7 or 8 minutes after the ingredients hit our table, and we had to wait for the broth to heat up after that, so it was off to a weird start. They also then forgot to bring us our noodles so we had to remind them, and they forgot some of the sweet items we had ordered on the second order we placed as well. A big plus was that they had Melona in a freezer for you to get as a dessert, and they had 3 flavors: Mango, Melon, and Strawberry. I had all of them and liked the Melon the best - it was nice to have a branded dessert available at AYCE. All in all, it was kind of an average experience for a really high price. I'd love to see the price drop a bit and I'd give it 4 stars then, or if their broth had a little more flavor that could give it that bump too. Plus, ironing out some of the strange service occurrences and I could definitely see myself liking this place a lot more!

Another great AYCE hotpot place in Allston! I came here for dinner with a friend on a Thursday night. We sat at the smaller side of the restaurant that quickly got filled for dinner service. There's a basket to keep your jackets and bags from smelling of hotpot. We got 2 broths - Chinese herbal & beef bone. We ordered a bunch of dishes from beef, lamb, pork, seafood, veggies, and dumplings. There is a small area to get your sauces and an ice cream cooler right next to it. It was easy to order and we got all of our items quickly. The menu has the cooking time for all the food from 30 seconds to a few minutes. Some of the vegetables were a little yellow, but we ripped them off before cooking them. The chewy sweet potato noodles are my favorite and they soak up all the good broth flavoring. Overall, a great place to grab dinner and they have long tables to accommodate large groups!

I really liked the interior of the entire restaurant as it's very historically Chinese oriented. They had like clothing hampers next to each table, but we weren't sure what they were for. Perhaps it's for putting your jacket in so that it doesn't smell like hotpot? All you can eat was about $45 per person outside of lunch hours, which to me is pretty expensive. Both broths were really good. The Mala one we got was mild, but boy was it spicy. Spicier than the Lamei medium spicy broth. I loved the texture of the potato noodle when it was done cooking. Soft and chewy, but also melts in your mouth. I tried making mala sauce the way they recommended and it tasted pretty good. Very sesame flavored. We both got the watermelon smoothie and it was sooooooo good. Refreshing just like eating a slice of watermelon but a tad bit sweeter. They had ice cream bars too, but we were too full to eat it. Overall really good!

Hooray for AYCE hot pot with unlimited popsicle self service. I probably don't get my money's worth eating a bunch of vegetables and ice cream but it's okay - it's probably a win win for the shop and for me. But if you love to indulge in meats and seafood this is the place for you - there are many options available for this, and if you're a vegetarian you could always opt for tofu and or a diverse array of different leaves and carbs. The ambience looks pretty standard for a hotpot joint but that's how you know you're in the right place. Additionally our server was exceptionally attentive and we got everything we ordered quickly within our 90min frame.

We've been coming here for a while, and it's always a great experience. The staff works fast; dishes come out quickly, and tables are cleared right away. They've thought of the details too: baskets for your stuff, aprons if you're worried about splashes, and a huge DIY sauce bar. The decor leans into an imperial Chinese style filled with dragons, paintings, and a bold atmosphere that fits the hotpot vibe. DLY is a bit pricier for hotpot, but the quality makes up for it. You're getting meats and seafood, with all-you-can-eat abalone and fresh shrimp. My only wish? A MSG-free soup option. Luckily, the desserts and creamsicles at the end make for a sweet finish.

It's a really good Hot Pot restaurant. The soup in particular is some of the best in the area. Mala Beef Tallow is pretty spice and you can choice the spice level: 10% to 150%. I was at my limits at 50%. The mushroom broth is some of the best mushroom broth we had in Massachusetts and it is very mushroom forward. There is abalone in the all you can eat option. My recommendation is that you really don't have to pay for a la cart that cost additional and save room for dessert. The restaurant is fancy looking and the staff is attentive.

Service was super fast! We did AYCE and the food came out quickly and fresh. Everything was clean and delicious -- the tom yum broth was especially flavorful. Staff were friendly and attentive. I also loved the little extras like the self-serve pickled radish and peanuts, plus free ice cream at the end!"

I got the AYCE here and I feel like there were such limited options for the price point. They ran out of a few things when we came. The herbal and Tom yum soup had good flavor but was a little too salty for my liking. They weren't busy on a Saturday night and there was no wait time. They do provide aprons when asked and have melona/haagen dazs ice cream bars

    Chris T.

Service was good, they didn't rush us near closing since we showed up around 10:30p at night post gym workout! So we found out (probably should have called and found out) but AYCE ends at 9:30pm. So it's al la carte until close. The decor and style was very much like another spot in Quincy Ma. We sat down on a 4 topper, chose our broth and each type flavor increases the price. The meats were fine and as you would expect, the milk beef was interesting presentation but didn't change the flavor. The meat however is tender so i would recommend that particular protein. We also got the beef tray of mixed hot pot beef and lamb. You also do pay for sauce bar for dipping but that's optional. We didn't notice it, but i believe it's been on a summertime price menu? So it may change. Also didn't notice that there was a 20% off post 10pm but I'm not 100% sure if we got that discount but it's alright. The servers were quick and super chill, we appreciated it and tried to finish up and leave so they could close up.

I wanted to try out a new hotpot place and came here on a weekday for dinner! I love their ayce menu! I couldn't believe that they had abalone in their ayce! The broths were also flavorful and not too salty. Their meat quality is also pretty good and fresh! We were definitely super full afterwards! They also have unlimited melona bars for dessert! They also have single pot servings if you don't want ayce or just want a quick meal by yourself! The servers are also nice and attentive! I'll definitely be coming back!

The staff were so pleasant and kind, they always checked in with us. We made a reservation for four people on a weekday night, and it wasn't too busy. You walk in, and the place feels inviting. The pork, beef, and lamb slices were favorites. The brown sugar rice cake appetizer was also very interesting to try - I've never had that at all you can eat hot pot before. They also had a nice alcohol and non-alcoholic selection of drinks. There's lots of hot pot options in Boston, but I think this one is worth a try if you're in the area.

They take your jacket to a safe location if requested which was great - no risk of getting any soup splash stains or smelling like hotpot after! You just order on an iPad to request more things which I personally love. Food was delicious and there was a great variety of dishes. We came when it was all you can eat meat which was perfect for a large group. Dipping sauce station was also great and then the drink variety was delicious as well. Overall, this was a delicious option for hotpot in the Chinatown area. I don't think I would come if it were a la carte for every item, but for all you can eat meat, it was great!

The hostess provided a plastic covering for my purse and explained that the smell from the hotpot can cling to fabric. I genuinely appreciated that level of thoughtfulness. She also took time to explain the specials and suggested ordering a combo since it would cost less, which felt honest rather than sales-driven. The ingredients were fresh and delicious, and the toppings bar had so many options that you can really customize your experience. I went solo this time but this is definitely the kind of place that would be perfect for groups. What truly stood out to me, though, was the service. I accidentally threw something important away before leaving and didn't realize until I was gone. When I called they looked through the trash but couldn't find it.They allowed me to come back and search through the trash and even provided gloves. That level of patience and kindness is rare and meant a lot. Between the fresh food, helpful staff, and exceptional service, this was a 10/10 experience. I would absolutely recommend.

One dish I would recommend is Xi'an Cold Rice noodles, it's an appetizer but was on par for a dish. The proportion was on the larger side and it had a perfect spice, all I have to say was it was delicious and for $9.95 you cannot go wrong. The dan dan noodles were good, but I would say the cold noodles were better. The golden buns were also great, a classic dish that is always loved with a great crisp. We did get the wrong sushi roll, unsure if they misheard us or if they thought we pointed to a different one but I'm glad they did because the Thunder Roll was delicious. I think it was the yellowtail that was on top that tied everything together, it was just really good. Overall a great place for dishes if you haven't tried it before you won't be disappointed.

It may be because I was at the 5:30 seating, but it taste better cool, but not cold. 2. Not sure where the bottles of wine are stored, but our cab was warm.
