The location, vibe, and deck on a nice night are FANTASTIC. But the food is consistently mediocre--runs 2-3 stars pretty much across the board. I've been a number of times, and I keep coming back hoping I just 'ordered the wrong thing' from the menu, but alas no...most recently this was a tablewide talking point and consensus. We've pretty much given up on finding anything to eat worth coming back for. Service is always friendly but usually slow (as they're usually busy) and not very attentive. We usually do a round of drinks with dinner, which are also nothing special. Except (and this is a big one) we're starting to suspect they aren't storing their margarita mix properly. Turns out, *multiple* people in our party, across completely different visits (including just recently), have ordered the strawberry margarita and about halfway through it started feeling sick (only drink of the night each time). The fantastic atmosphere might balance the consistently disappointing food, but if what you're serving is making multiple people sick, that's problematic. So if you can get a seat outside by the water, it's a great atmosphere...but if you stay, don't expect a great meal, and definitely avoid the strawberry margarita. read more

Overall, I'd give Litor Havana a 6/10. The service was okay, but after being seated for quite a while, we had to ask for someone to help us before a server was assigned to our table. She was friendly, but not very attentive throughout the meal. We started with a mojito, which was just okay (6/10). It tasted more like soda and mint than a traditional mojito. We also ordered the fried yuca, which was unfortunately the biggest disappointment (2/10). It was soggy instead of crispy, very oily, and seemed undercooked. The mojo sauce served with it, however, was delicious. My husband ordered the chicken pozole, which had great flavor, although it was a bit too peppery for our taste and could have used a little more heat instead. He also had the birria empanadas, which were freshly made and decent, but nothing particularly memorable. I ordered the chicken mojo with rice and black beans and substituted the maduros for tostones. The chicken was flavorful, and the black beans were excellent. The tostones tasted good but were also quite greasy, almost as if they had been fried in oil that wasn't hot enough, similar to the yuca. Overall, the meal was okay, but we weren't particularly impressed. If you're looking for authentic Caribbean or Cuban food, this may not be the best choice, as the menu felt more Mexican-inspired than Cuban. read more

Ordered carry out here. The staff is very friendly and professional. There is outdoor seating by the waters if the weather is nice. Unfortunately the food wasn't all that great. I ordered the steak omelet sandwich and it tasted...bland. Could use more flavor on the meat, and just the sandwich overall. The sweet potato fries that came with the sandwich were extremely soggy and unappetizing. Don't really see myself coming back here unless I'm with friends, sitting outside on the deck and even then you'd have to convince me. read more

I took a trip to Baltimore for a mini getaway! It's honestly a really awesome trip with Amtrak! I had wifi and I was able to work on my laptop and there were some nice views from the train! This is one of my favorite restaurants in the city! Located right on the water the cute restaurant sits with tons of bar top, high top and regular seating. The food here is heavenly (I've been to Cuba and the Cuban Sandwich from Little Havana tasted exactly the same as the one I had in Cuba!). Their mojitos are yummy and it's an added bonus when I'm able to play a little shuffleboard for free! read more

Came in on a game day for the Ravens specials which included this $7 burger. The burger itself was amazing, but I didn't like the rice and beans at all. Rice had no flavor to it and the beans were definitely lacking in salt. Servers were all super nice, and it was definitely a quieter atmosphere for a game spot. Delicious quick bites after a event at the Baltimore museum of industry. The empanadas were amazing; I really wish I ordered another order to take home. The shrimp tacos reminded me of red lobster's coconut shrimp, which was a pleasant surprise. Service was Meh. There is a separate window to receive orders, which makes the transaction very quick when you're in a hurry. Jerk wings are always on my order! Had my baby shower at Little Havana in the Blue Room and it was perfect! The staff was wonderful to work with and made it so easy. The food was tasty and the bartenders made some delicious drinks. Plus they allowed us to bring in outside dessert which was great! The room opened out onto a patio, which was really just a few tables and chairs on top of rocks, nothing special but luckily it was a nice day and we had several kids there so the extra space was helpful. I think I'd still keep the same rating. I feel that I prefer their breakfast options more but it's definitely a preference based on what you want to eat and what you expect from a restaurant with their cuisine. The huevos Rancheros were good, but not sure they were worth the price and getting for "an eating out" meal. The chilaquiles were good and a friend got the breakfast sandwich that comes with sweet potato fries that I'll probably get next time I'm there. Service was good. The food came out fairly quickly. I chose this place as a place to have lunch while in between appointments in Baltimore on a sunny Saturday. I must say that the staff is super friendly and attentive. I noticed that the restaurant had plenty of business and a lot people had small children. The menu seems to catered to the neighborhood palate, so if you're looking authentic Cuban flavor this is not the place to go. My food was pretty bland. Little Havana has a great Cubano sandwich that was full of flavor and not too dry. There are also beans and rice as a side to the order, making the meal quite filling. There's lots of seating inside and definitely a lively area when packed. To entire, you have to go to the end of the street and go up a ramp. The service here was also quick and great. read more

My partner booked one of Little Havana's private rooms for my 40th birthday party and they were PHENOMENAL from start to finish. In the planning phase, they were SUPER flexible with how to structure how much food to put out, open bar/ticket/bar limit pricing, and bringing outside dessert options. During the event, the food was plentiful and SO good, we had use of an AV projector so my partner could display a sweet slideshow of pictures, and the bar staff absolutely could not have been more friendly and helpful. They were attentive throughout, the space was perfect, and everyone was raving about the party. We had a group of about 75 people and I would HIGHLY recommend booking a party of that size there again! Aside from their party room, they have one of THE best Cuban sandwiches I've had, and that includes trying some in Miami. read more

The appeal of Little Havana is their great waterfront location. I've always enjoyed sitting with a drink and relaxing at this venue. But their food is a no go for me. I've tried multiple things from the menu and haven't found a go-to yet. Plus their beer selection is lacking for sure. They do have good mojitos but I so rarely drink them, it's not useful for me. Our server lily was amazing. The food was okay. The portions honestly are small. The drinks unfortunately were not that great. The mojitos were a disappointment. I'm sorry, but for being a cuban restaurant the mojitos were really bad. The margarita I could not taste the tequila at all. I will give it one more try in the future, but the drinks were a complete let down. If it wasn't for Lily's service I probably wouldn't even consider coming back. read more
