Let's be honest Magnolia bakery has become way too overhyped. Little Cupcake Bakeshop real star when it comes to NY cupcakes. They have a wide variety of super unique flavor combos like Snowball, Gingerbread and Brooklyn Black out. Counter staff is friendly and service is quick. Like everything in NY it's on the expensive side with cupcakes ranging from $4-$5. They also don't seem to price by 1/2 dozen or dozen so it means if you want a dozen you're paying at least $50. They do mean it when they say little. The space is pretty small and the tables even smaller. But still a nice place to sit and enjoy a sweet treat.

Got to try the chocolate cake! My friend picked this up in advance to celebrate a birthday and was able to customize the cake. It was yummy without being overly dense and was beautifully decorated and packaged well. It was dryer than I expected and the cake had a bit of crumble which I actually really enjoyed and offset the frosting well. Overall it's not overwhelmingly sweet and a cute spot.

IF you are charging $9 for a single slice of cake at least have the decency for your customers to throw away old cake. Kinda unheard of that this needs to be said.. and this isn't the first time which is why I am here writing a review, the cake was stale and so obviously old, frosting and cake both crumbling off $18 just to throw in the trash... beyond disappointing.

Little Cupcake Bakeshop is a charming little bakery and coffee spot in Bay Ridge, offering a wide variety of cakes and muffins. I tried their classic chocolate chip cookie and caramel pecan cheesecake--both were fantastic! No complaints at all--delicious and definitely worth the money. The quality was so good, it makes me want to go back and try more from their menu. They do have some seating available, but be aware: you're only allowed to sit for 45 minutes after ordering (they even have a notice about it). The staff seemed fine--nothing stood out, but nothing negative either. Overall, a sweet little spot for dessert lovers!

I am a fan of this place and have been for years across their various locations. The thing is, some of their cake slices are dry. I don't doubt the freshness because they do move their product it just is what it is. Certain slices are moist, usually the chocolate but my strawberry shortcake slice was dry. Id still recomend little cupcake bakeshop but be warned at nearly $9 a slice.

My man suggested we get some sweets from here. We ordered the raspberry white chocolate cheesecake, gluten free banana cupcake, and black & white cupcake. I was super excited to try the banana cupcake. I don't care that it's gluten free; I was just excited after seeing a random banana pudding cupcake on IG; but that excitement quickly faded away. Maybe because it was 9pm; the cake and frosting was stale and hard. I don't know why they wouldn't use a banana flavored cream, it tastes like the cheesecake frosting often found on red velvet and carrot cakes. If you told me there was no banana in here, I wouldn't be surprised. The cheesecake wasn't bad but there was nothing spectacular about it either. I didn't even try the chocolate cupcake, I gave up at this point because nothing met my expectations.

We came in here a sweet treat after having brunch somewhere else. I had visited their Soho location a few years ago. I remember enjoying the cake I had so I was excited to visit this location. The store was bright and had a beautiful decor. It had an old school dinner vibe with counter service. They also have a public bathroom available. I didn't visit the facilities so I cannot attest to the cleanliness of it. They serve cupcakes/cakes, other baked treats and coffee. We were greeted immediately upon entry and the staff was very bubbly. They gave a few recommendations. I got the cookie dough cupcake for $5. They charge an extra fee if you pay by credit card but I didn't know that. They told some people but it would have been nice if there was a sign prominently displayed. I would have paid in cash if I had known about the surcharge. For a $5.20 cupcake, I was expecting a lot more. The cake was very tiny and was sloppy in appearance. Like the cupcake had uneven edges and a dent in the frosting. The cake was super dry and the cookie dough in the middle was hard like a brick. The frosting was very sweet and overpowered all the other flavor. I might try another flavor but probably a more basic one for $3.75 as this one was disappointing.

A great selection of baked goods. The Little Cupcake offers a traditionally quaint bakeshop perfect to enjoy on your own or meet with someone for coffee and dessert or breakfast. The menu consists with a variety of cakes, cookies, cupcakes, cheesecakes, pudding parfaits, muffins, and croissants. The croissants hits the spot and the cake slices can be shared. While I have not tried the entire menu yet, I look forward to returning the next time I have a craving. The Little Cupcake has now become one of my top five go to sweet spots in the Bay Ridge / Fort Hamilton area. *service is friendly, store is clean, and seating area is comfortable. Menu items range from $3 to $9/$10. Relevant Views is a service of Alternative & Supplemental Solutions and Fatima Partners, LLC. Contact us at calendly.com/relevantviews.

Fast service. When it comes to cupcakes, I like to try anything new. Here's what we ordered: - Good Humor Strawberry - Brooklyn Blackout - 7 layers - Black & White This is the 2nd time visiting in the span of two months. The cupcakes are consistent and delicious each time. Can't wait to come back and try something else on their menu. There are 3 locations: 2 in BK and 1 in NYC. They do birthday and wedding cakes, as well as office events.

Went last weekend after dinner. I love that it was open late even on a Sunday. Cute place, friendly staff and the cupcakes were the way I like them: a cake that's not dry and not overly frosted. The strawberry had lots of flavour!

A cute cupcake and dessert shop. Got a red velvet cupcake ($3.5), walnut brownie $3.50), and ice chai latte with almond milk ($4.75). The cupcake was alright but for the size that it is I feel like I could have gotten a bigger for that price in the city. The chai latte was good. There are 4-5 tables for anyone who would like to sit.

We stopped and got coffee, and cupcakes. We loved the ambiance, and the service was good.

Even though there is a line, you do not feel rushed or pressured to order quickly. On this visit we ordered plain croissant, chocolate croissant-fresh out of the oven, rhubarb croissant, black forest pastry and brown butter corn cake. The chocolate croissant was amazing. It is triple chocolate and cocoa powder is in the dough. It is filled with milk and dark chocolate, so creamy. The plain croissant was flaky and light. The brown butter corn cake was crispy and caramelized on the outside and soft and moist. The Black Forest croissant is a seasonal offering. It is made with their Triple Chocolate Croissant filled with chocolate cake and sour cherries and topped with mascarpone cream , Rhubarb & Custard Croissant . It is tart and sweet. The rhubarb is roasted and complimented with sweet vanilla custard. They all were excellent. Each were about $8. Highly recommend and don't let the line deter you .

It's also difficult to see all the items since everyone is packed in a line even when you get into the store. The food itself: - cardamom bun was yummy, a bit too cardamom forward though. 3.5/5 - the pb and J croissant was cool, a bit too rich for my liking but I admire how different it was and I actually had to save this one for the next day and it was still good so 4/5
