By the time we were finally done, most restaurants were already closed. We called this restaurant close to 10 PM, and from the moment the hostess answered the phone, we were treated with such kindness and genuine hospitality. We arrived around 10 PM, and not once did we feel like we were an inconvenience or that anyone was trying to rush us out the door. Quite the opposite. From the hostess, to Chef Suli, to our waitress, everyone was absolutely amazing. They were warm, personal, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. What impressed us even more was the food. Even though it was late, nothing felt rushed. The food was prepared with care, and the food was absolutely amazing! You have to order the Babe's wings, the crab stuffed pretzel, and brisket sandwich with the homemade potato chips everything was delicious ! After such a long, exhausting day, this was exactly what we needed. While great food is always important, it's service like this that truly leaves a lasting impression. We live 2 hours away and aren't able to come often, but this experience was so memorable that next year it will definitely be on our must-visit list. A huge thank you to Chef Suli, our waitress, the hostess, and the entire team for taking such great care of us. You turned the end of a very long day into such a wonderful experience. Brisket Burnt End Scramble -- 9/10…read more This was a seriously loaded breakfast. The plate had tender, smoky brisket burnt ends mixed with scrambled eggs, melted cheddar, BBQ sauce and crispy onions, all over a generous portion of hash browns, with toast on the side. The combination of the smoky brisket, creamy eggs, melted cheese and crunchy fried onions gave every bite something different. The burnt ends were definitely the star of the plate, and the portion was large enough that you won't leave hungry. The Pumpkin Spice Latte was a great match for the breakfast. It had espresso, pumpkin spice and milk, topped with pumpkin cold foam and whipped cream. The cold foam really made this one stand out. Instead of being just another overly sweet pumpkin drink, you get that creamy pumpkin flavor

We came to The Hershey Pantry because of all the great reviews. We put our name in for a table at…read more10:48 a.m. and were told the wait would be approximately 30 minutes. Unfortunately, we weren't seated until 11:32, making the actual wait closer to 45 minutes. Our server was friendly, and since we'd had plenty of time to look over the menu while waiting, we were able to order right away. Unfortunately, it then took another 40 minutes for our food to arrive. We're not sure where the delay occurred--whether it was the kitchen, staffing, or something else--but between waiting for a table and then waiting for our food, the entire process felt excessively long. The good news is that the food itself was really good. My husband ordered the burnt ends egg dish, and I had the praline pancakes, which were excellent. We also ordered sausage as a side, and that was great as well. We had no complaints about the quality of the food. Would we come back? Maybe. If we did, we would probably try to arrive before 8 a.m. or after the main breakfast rush. The restaurant is fairly small, and based on our experience, it seemed to struggle with getting guests seated and served efficiently during a busy period. Plenty of busy breakfast restaurants and diners manage to turn tables and get food out quickly, so I think The Hershey Pantry could really benefit from looking at its service and kitchen workflow during peak hours. The food is good enough to warrant another visit, but waiting nearly 45 minutes for a table followed by another 40 minutes for food makes it difficult to recommend visiting during their busiest times.

So let's start with the good the staff were all very friendly and I was asked several times if I had been taken care of while the hostess was in back getting my order. I ordered the pierogi as a starter and the stuffed meatloaf. Let's start with the pierogi and where it all went wrong. I'm not sure if it is a local thing but whoever thought to put creamy Italian dressing all over them has very questionable taste. It really is a shame because the pierogi themselves had a nice bite and the filling was good but everything was so overpowered by that garish sauce I even wiped them off with a paper towel but the vinegar had soaked in, when you are going to mess with a classic put your brilliant idea on the side (and since it was to go even more necessary). It was bad. The stuffed meatloaf was good giant portion more than enough for two meals. I look forward to giving them a second chance and attending a trivia night.

Amazing Burger, well cooked mushrooms, THICK, juicy burger, and all around a great meal! The bottom bun was a bit soggy, but since it's so thick you have to eat it with a fork anyway, so you can just discard that part. My grandpa is one of them. Our server is usually Dee, and she is always incredibly friendly, attentive, and FAST. Honestly, that's one of the things that always impresses me here the food comes out ridiculously quickly even when they're busy. My breakfast go to is half a "honky" eggs, potatoes, peppers and onions all mixed together with cheese on top, plus toast. Nothing overly fancy or trying too hard. But everybody talks about Heisey's for breakfast, and I'm here to tell you: don't sleep on dinner. Their fried fish is one of my absolute favorites. It's MASSIVE and so good.
