I've frequented this Lion's Choice location for quite some time and, until recently, had never experienced any issues. The staff has always been polite, and my orders were generally accurate. Unfortunately, during my last visit, I ordered four roast beef sandwiches and three large fries through the drive-thru. Because everything was tightly packed into a single bag, I was unable to verify the order before leaving. When we got home, I discovered that we had only received three sandwiches and three fries, leaving us short one $5.25 sandwich and without enough food for everyone. I called the restaurant immediately at 636-329-4071 and left a polite, concise voicemail with my contact information and details about the issue. Unfortunately, I never received a callback or any acknowledgment of the problem, which was even more disappointing than the original mistake. I understand that order errors happen, and I believe this was likely an honest mistake. However, ignoring a customer's attempt to resolve the issue afterward reflects very poorly on the restaurant's customer service. If a business provides a phone number and voicemail system, customers should reasonably expect those messages to be checked and addressed. Sadly, this experience left me very disappointed, and my family and I will not be returning. read more

Looking for 3.5 on this, but I'll round up to 4 for being a restaurant where you can get veggies. Personally, I have not had Lions Choice since the 1 time as a teenager, but a lot of folks seem to like it so let's go. Visited during lunch with a few work pals, I didn't even think that it was open yet. Building is new and very clean. I went with the Original Turkey, plus Pepperjack, Combo add Veggies and Dip. $10.10 for my total. The sandwich, while it tasted good,could have had a little more meat on it. I know they weigh the portions, but hit me with 1 more slice. Fries were hot, veggies were fresh. I like that they offer different sauces and fresh toppings along with au jus on the bar near the beverages. That's a nice touch. It's a good alternative to a burger, so I'll likely try it again...will get the large sandwich read more

Sandwich just ok...,on the salty side. Also pretty pricey ($4.50+) for a regular size sandwich. Mini ice cream cone prices are 2-3 times higher than "back in the day." Service was very SLOW!!!!!! read more

Went though drive , my order was $8.16. I handed the girl a $20 and 16 cents. Apparently I did not hand it to her correctly because she proceeded to yell please don't do that then slam the drive thru window door. I watched her drop a penny on the floor after then pick it up and proceed to throw every cent I gave her in the drawer one by one while telling the other emloyees around her I shoved the change in her hand. She continued to talk poorly about me until she opened the window to hand me my food. I told her no I could hear everything she said and I just want my money back. She then started screaming I'm walking away and the manager came. I figured it would be easier to give her the 16 cents rather than give change back, I guess that is not the case. I can tell you I did not shove the money in her hand, she was just annoyed I gave her change. Maybe she was just having a bad day, but to blatantly talk about me so loud I could hear though the window is inexcusable. read more

I want to first make it clear that I have been eating Lion's Choice since 1974. The food 95 pct of the time is amazing which is what keeps me coming back. My reason for giving a 1 Star is the experience I had Monday night with my wife and daughter. We entered the restaurant around 8 pm. There were two other couples in eating at the time. When we placed our order the girl at the counter was either having a bad night or does not need to be working with the public. We received our food and decided we wanted ice cream. She looked like she was inconvenienced by us ordering the ice cream. When we got the ice cream we sat down to eat and I refilled my soda. After eating the ice cream I was packing up the table to leave and the entire Large soda spilled all over my wife, my daughter and the table and booth. Since at this time we were the only ones left in the restaurant I could see that every employee looked up at us. I went to the counter and grabbed a stack of napkins and tried to clean up what I could. At NO time did any employee come over and offer to help or dismiss us from cleaning and take over. I understand I spilled it but I also don't have access to mops, rags etc. I got up as much and I could and I spoke to the girl that took our order. I said i was sorry and I cleaned up what I could. She didn't say a word to me after my apology. I run a large retail store and I would NEVER expect a customer to clean a mess they make in the bathrooms or sales floor when the spill etc. I don't know the employees name since nobody was wearing a name tag. Will this deter my from eating here, probably not. But it sure left a sour taste in our mouths about this new location. read more

This is a new location and we love it! The service is always very friendly and the food is fresh and prepared quickly. We've had ONE mishap while using the app - we didn't get our drinks but fortunately we live nearby. The manager, David, was amazingly professional and is replacing our whole meal.
