The waitress was not only attentive but also flexible to making adjustments to our order, making the entrees less sweet and more spicy. I come here fairly often and I enjoy it overall. One critique I would have is that most of the dishes are served with way too heavy of a sauce. Sauce equals sugar, and therefore it's safe to say this isn't very healthy food to eat. If you don't mind lots of sauceand enjoy some good Chinese grab, this is a good place to check out. read more

It was unfortunate that they refused to let us order off the lunch menu, that specifically says M-F 11-2, because it was a holiday. I mean it was still Monday and there was literally NO ONE else but us in the restaurant. The crispy shrimp wasn't crispy at all. The sauce provided for it was very delicious though. I ordered Pad Thai and it was marginal at best. We also ordered General So's chicken and it was good but the portion size was 1/3 smaller than any other Chinese restaurant we've ever been too. I'm sure the $9.99 lunch deal is worth it, but dinner didn't seem to be worth it. read more

The food at Lin's Cafe II was delicious. I'm very particular when it comes to Asian cuisine and everything my family ordered was very good. The bbq pork fried rice was the best I've had anywhere North of Austin. The lemon chicken was flavorful and balanced it was not overly sweet or citrusy. The kids chicken lo mein was tasty. The service was amazing as well. The staff were very attentive and polite. I highly recommend visiting and enjoying the food! You won't be disappointed. read more

Same food different name. Over all food is ok better than others around. Sweet and sour chicken is ok needs to cook longer mine was under cooked. The breading was raw. Sesame chicken was ok. It tasted good but had a weird texture. Dumplings 5 out 10 Egg rolls 8 out 10 better than any other restaurant Fried rice 0 out of 10 no flavor even after 4 packs of soy sauce and the dumplings sauce added. If the owner reads this pick up ur game cause there needs to be a great Chinese restaurant in this area. Have only ordered take out. Mostly Chung King, (i.e. Americanized) but the Singapore Street Noodles (imagine fried rice with rice vermicelli instead and light curry) are quite good. The other entrées are certainly adequite. The big advantage is that it is closer than the First Chinese BBQ in Chinatown on North Lamar. read more

We came here for a late weekday lunch. Service was great and everyone was very friendly and attentive. We ordered sesame chicken, orange chicken, egg rolls, and spring rolls. Everything came out within 15min. Food was hot and fresh and GOOD! Also have to say the chicken was white meat (no special request needed). We'll def be back! read more

Been to Lin's cafe twice. I ordered the general chicken and my wife had the orange chicken and it didn't disappoint. The hot and sour soup and the egg rolls are also so good. We also bought some lomein to take home for dinner and even reheated it was still delicious. My wife took her sister to try it out and she also loved it. I ordered General Tso chicken, it was very pathetic with no flavors. The chicken was super hard that I couldn't chew. Clearly they are heating the chicken over and over again. I got the orange chicken, I wish I got a picture of it but it was so beautiful. All of the food we got just looked so pretty and it was so fresh. We got our food very quickly and it was steaming. We got the lunch special which was a fantastic price. The orange chicken was the best I've ever had, same with the fried rice. The chicken was moist and tender, it had lots of sauce for the rice to absorb. The tables were very sanitary and the staff were friendly. I'm definitely coming back here it was lovely! read more

We ordered via Uber Eats, so I can't say anything about the service or environment, but the food is fantastic. Good quality, good portion size. My daughter and I can be a bit picky when it comes to chicken, but Lin's uses white meat (at least in the fried rice) and the cut isn't huge. Great flavor as well. Great food, friendly staff and big portions! The chicken in the sesame and general Tso's chicken are huge chunks or white meat that are cooked perfectly. General Tso's could be spicier. I placed a delivery order for me and my kids at 6:10pm on Friday 7/14. After waiting over an hour I call to find out the status of my delivery. at 7:25pm The manager, Amy, told me that someone processed my order as complete in their system before the order was even made. She asked if I still wanted it and I said yes, she offered to make the order and deliver it for free for the inconvenience... Another hour goes by and I call again, only to find out from Amy that the owner said not to give me my order for free. Nobody ever called me to tell me this. Absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced. I will never order from there again and I recommend you don't either. read more

First time visiting with the new owners and we were very happy with our orders and the service (we dined in). The food came out quickly and was hot and tasty, with good-sized portions. Compared to similar restaurants, the pricing is much better without any reduction in quality. The fried pot stickers and wonton soup were good starters. We ordered Lo Mein with chicken and Mu Shu pork. Both entrees were very flavorful and we had leftovers to take home. The service was exceptional- frequent visits to the table, quick drink refills, and overall a very warm appreciation for our patronage. So few restaurants these days demonstrate this kind of sincerity and we look forward to becoming regulars. read more
