The food we got was pretty good, but a few things seemed a little off. I ordered sesame chicken and sweet and sour shrimp from the dinner menu. The sesame chicken had maybe 8 pieces of chicken. They are a little larger than normal Chinese restaurant pieces but they are shaped like balls... very odd in my opinion and makes it a little too big to eat comfortably without cutting. I would prefer just normal bite sizes, there is too much meat in one bite this way and I was a bit concerned about it being under done because of the thickness. I felt the portion size was fairly small when presented this way. The shrimp was fine, but the batter wasn't super crispy. I did take it to go, so that could be a contributing factor for sure. The sauce was typical but a little runny. What was strange about both meals is there were zero veggies included at all. Usually sesame chicken has broccoli, shrimp has bell peppers and onions. There was zero additional veg included so I really felt that the portions weren't substantial enough to be considered dinner. That being said it was tasty, but if I return I'd keep in mind I need to actively order some sides if I want veggies... which I do in a meal. read more

Great experience at Lin's Cafe II. Excellent service, clean and friendly environment. Fast service and delicious food! Had General Tso's and Chicken with Thai Basil. Both had good amount of spice and flavor. Also shrimp rolls for appetizers (no pic but tasty as well). We will definitely be back! read more

First time trying this restaurant. I must say it is really good. I got bbq pork fried rice and my husband got the honey walnut shrimp.

99.9% of Asian restaurants over cook beef and scallops, but not this one. I got the happy family plate that included beef, scallops, shrimp and chicken. All of the proteins were cooked to perfection. The texture of every one of them was delicate and tender. As a bonus the broccoli was not over cooked either. It was crisp and identifiable. Unlike the formless, tasteless mush that you are normally parented with at Asian restaurants. Steamed pot stickers were also delicate & flavorful. This place is outstanding! Give it a try. read more

Finally a delicious and authentic Chinese restaurant has landed in Leander! Lived in this town for 5 years and was disappointed with all of the Chinese restaurants until now. We had a dinner gathering and ordered takeout from Lin's Cafe II for the first time. Everything we ordered was delicious and perfectly seasoned. We had Hot & Sour Soup, Wonton Soup, Sesame Chicken, Honey Walnut Shrimp , Szechuan Style Sliced Chicken, BBQ Pork Lo Mein, Mongolian Beef, and Fried Rice. The staff was so attentive and polite. They packed all of the food well to transport safely to our friends' home. The restaurant was super clean and well lit. We're looking forward to trying so many more dishes offered on their extensive menu! read more
