He helped us choose the window and patio door that was best for us. He explained the process and told us what to expect. The installation actually happened two weeks sooner than we expected and we were able to have them installed before the summer heat. The installation team, Nate and Colby were fantastic. Clean, courteous and as quiet as possible. Their tools made noise (they can't help that) but they spoke in soft voices and the disruption was absolutely minimal. They took an extreme amount of care during the installation and now the window and patio door look and operate perfectly, and they are perfectly sealed. They used such care that I don't even have to do touch up painting on the window trim! The new Amlin window and door are such a huge improvement. Our AC now runs much less and our house is much quieter. If you are struggling to decide, just go with American Vision Windows. You won't be disappointed.

This took 4 days and the install crew showed up on time and cleaned up each day and answered my question as I watched over everything. I was worried that my stucco might not come out right, but even that was on point. I also double-checked the windows at the end and the only thing I found was a casement window that was a little sticky to open and they quickly fixed it. Regarding the quote process, Tony was easy to work with, knowledgeable about their products, and revised my order several times as I worked out the final details. I had a few concerns, like making sure that when I replaced a narrow window at my front door that the frame would not be too thick, but it looks great. Also thanks to Debbie for checking after the job (and after I paid) to make sure I was still happy. Based on the job they did at my house, my neighbor is going to update their windows too.

Enclosed Back Patio Quick background - We have had a…read morescreened-in patio since moving into our house in 1983. In 2001, we replaced much of the wood and installed a 28" slab wall. My wife fabricated the screens. The last improvement was made in 2011, when we had heavy screens fabricated with eyelets and attached them with cap screws. After all these years, we decided to make this a functional room year-round instead of Mar - May/Oct - Dec. As we know, it is always easier to build new than to reconstruct. It's a 200 sq. ft. space with good wood, foundation, etc. We went out for three quotes, including Desert King Windows, which we had replaced all our windows with back in 2010. They came in as the best price, but what was most appealing was how straightforward it all was. It was not a simple project. We required to not have any wood showing other than the very top. It was explained how they would foil wrap the beams and ledge. We were given options for the windows and doors with no price haggling. Since they were our last quote, we were satisfied to advise on the spot that we wanted them to do the project. Days later, Johnny came over for exact measurements, to engineer the project in terms of how many windows, which beams would be removed/moved, exactly how the foil would be placed and installed, and the like. A few days after that, the owner, Jayson, came by with Johnny and the sales rep, Don, to give a final look over and to make sure we were "all on the same page" before the order was submitted for fabrication. The project was scheduled for 6-8 weeks, which occurred. It was expected to take three days, but the crew led by Jose finished it up in two long days. My wife, who has had a complete bathroom remodel redone, was extremely happy (this was her ideal and project), which is telling. I have attached before (after the screens were removed) and after pics, which show the transformation. Oh - and to be able to use this year-round - we added a mini split, and thus far, with the type of windows and doors, it hardly needs to run to keep it cool. Yes, we still have the real summer to evaluate it out.

I learned my HOA required one additional window to be replaced (entire sides of the house had to be done at a time). I asked them to come out and measure that additional window and collect payment. I called and emailed for weeks and the sales person finally got back asking if the owner got in touch with me. I am nearly 5 months in and I cannot get them to respond to email or phone calls and now have to chase them down through the credit card company. Stay away, I now see why they closed down their old business and started fresh last year.

We were still undecided when we received a call from Jake, the owner of Modern Resolution. He answered some questions we had from his sales rep's presentation and decided it would be best for him to see our house to respond to a couple of concerns we had. We did research and found that the Anlin windows he proposed were highly rated. Jake gave us a good price and we signed a contract. We had a very short delay in getting our windows installed due to the end of the year holidays. The install went well. It was very impressive how hard the installers worked. They were on time every day and were very careful of not damaging anything in our home, including the floor. Per Jake's recommendation, we had a combination of retrofit and new windows installed. The new windows required chopping out some stucco. After those windows were installed, new stucco was put on immediately. Modern Resolution had a great employee named Luis paint all of the new stucco. That was one of the reasons we went with Modern Resolution as most other window companies we spoke with said we were responsible for any painting required after the install. We had a couple of small issues, such as a bathroom screen missing. (it was found in the warehouse behind a box) but Jake always took care of those in a timely fashion. We were shocked how much outside noise was reduced by our new windows and sliders along with the utility savings! Also, it was surprising how nice the windows looked from the inside. I noticed…read morecracking around the window, I called AZWDS and they came out and said it was because of the insulation method they used at the time. They backed up the installation warranty and tore out the stucco and replaced it. Now the stucco is separating from the window and cracking where it meets the original stucco, also looks nothing like the original stucco. I have made several calls and they said they would take care of it. Still waiting for them to call me back. I have had 6 other windows replaced by a competitor and the stucco has not cracked or pulled away from the window. you can't even tell the windows have been replaced.
