Employee named "Mark" came to my door soliciting business. Mark ignored two "No Soliciting" and one "No Trespassing" signs. When I told Mark to leave he played stupid games like he couldn't understand me and had to be told multiple times to leave my property. Had 1988 dual pane windows replaced with "latest and greatest" Anlin energy efficient windows. Install went well, craftsmanship was good. It's been a bit under a month since the upgrade. Comfort in the residence has markedly improved. The energy efficiency of the windows is impressive, the conditioned spaces are better regulated ie: large temp swings have been reduced or eliminated. Our heat pump operating time seems to be reduced quite a bit. I'll post an update after a couple of months power bills come in. Right now I realize I should have done this upgrade sooner. read more

Amazing service and professionalism start to finish! My wife and I had been talking about new windows since we bought our house 5 years ago. We finally pulled the trigger and so happy that we did! We chose RMK windows because they were professional, knowledgeable and service-oriented. Start to finish their process was so simple and streamlined. We scheduled an initial in home consultation and then decided to place an order for the Anlin line of home windows. It is a brand that is very well-known for being the top quality and the longest lasting. (Especially here in arizona, with our drastic climates). When Byce and the installers came to the house, they installed our new windows in less than 4 hours! They did an incredible job keeping our house clean. Every surface they touched was wiped down and vacuumed before they left, and they made sure to put a tarp on the floor beneath the window while they were working on it. Bryce even made sure that I understood every feature of the new windows and had a clear picture of the lifetime warranty before leaving. Shortly after that, Jake (who initially did the consultation with me), came by the house to inspect the job and follow up to make sure there weren't any questions that I may have had. My only regret is not doing this sooner! My house looks nice and updated. It's staying cooler and much quieter all thanks to the quality of the product and workmanship that RMK provided. read more

My first comment about RMK is BUYER BEWARE. A friend recommended RMK. She told me she had problems with RMK but felt they were resolved. Here are my major problems with this company: Poor communication throughout the whole process. After paying for 1/2 of my 16 windows, I was given a date that they would call to set up the date for install and didn't hear from anyone. I called a week later and asked what the deal was and when would the windows be delivered/installed. I was not happy, got upset, and then I was told I had a bad attitude. They had 1/2 of the money and I wasn't sure I was going to be scammed out of my money. The most dangerous thing was the amount of glass and debris left behind. I have a small dog and found glass shards in several rooms. The salesperson (Cyrille) came out to look and commented there were way too many shards. There had to be close to 100 shards of glass in 2 rooms. Some were over 6 feet from the windows. There were glass shards on the furniture. How is that even possible? Finally, to get rid of them, I got down and cleaned the floors by hand and vacuumed all the furniture. I asked the salesperson to have the installers keep the screens and not to damage them because a neighbor needed them. At the beginning of the job I went out and told one of the installers to save the screens. The screens were basically new-I had them replaced the year before. When I went to look at the screens on the side of the house most of them were damaged beyond repair. I was only able to salvage 3 of the 15 screens. The others were too damaged/torn apart to save. Even the fabric on the screens was ripped. It was like a wrecking ball was released on my property. There was debris in the yard. I found 5 pieces of glass that were larger than 2 inches in the yard. The dog could have easily cut her foot. There were pieces of metal and rubber from the windows left in the yard. This was pure carelessness. I did not read the estimate closely enough. The salesperson showed me one of the "great features" of my new windows was that they could be opened from both sides-you could have the window open part of the way on one side and part of the way on the other side for "sliders". In windows that traditionally opened from the bottom you could open the window from the top or bottom. In order to open the windows at the top and bottom or on both sides you need a full screen. Otherwise bugs would come in the windows. The salesperson and the window measurer (Brian) both told me about this feature. When they ordered the windows they only ordered a 1/2 screen-this only screens half of the window. You need a full screen to cover the whole window to keep the bugs out. I didn't realize this is what they did and they never discussed with me that I would need a full screen for the windows which was not on the order. I just assumed I would be getting full screens. I called them when I realized that they installed 1/2 screens and I couldn't open the windows on both sides. They told me to get a full screen that I would have to pay $410 each for the screens since the screens would have to be ordered after install. The salesperson said at time of sale they would have been less than $100. I told her it made no sense to me that they ordered half screens for a window that would open on both sides and they would price gouge me for the screens. How could the price go from $100 to $400? I contacted the salesperson several times. She NEVER returned my calls and would not discuss the screens. I called the office and the secretary told me the screens were $410 each. These windows are standard sized windows. I would be crazy to pay $400 each for 16 windows for screens when they made the mistake. They should have ordered full screens for double hung windows. For the window install RMK told me to move anything within 3 feet of the windows. I had been working on moving everything for a week and my house was in disarray in anticipation of the install. My husband is handicapped and this made it difficult to navigate through our home with his walker. I was contacted by the installer the day before the install date. He said he wanted to cancel the install as it might rain the next day and he wanted to sleep in. He said we can come in another week and install. I had to leave my house in disarray for another whole week. Why couldn't they have come sooner? When installing, drywall was damaged. Big gouges were missing from the wall. I had to fix it as RMK said they weren't responsible for the damage. Two of the windows installed were cracked/chipped. I reported it to RMK. Cyrille told me it would be 2 weeks to get new windows. After a month the windows were finally installed. Bottom line-If you want a great job done DON'T hire this company. read more

We've had a few projects at our house and by far the RMK Windows crew was the most professional, cohesive, and pleasant team we've ever worked with regarding home improvements. The purchase process was straightforward. The wait time was long but that's been expected during Covid times. The install, was amazing. A huge crew showed up and just managed everything like clockwork. It was really impressive. But, even more impressive was these damn gorgeous windows that made our house feel brand new. The noise reduction and temperature control has been amazing. I highly recommend. Our first experience with RMK was what you would expect from a company. Good communication, some issues with install that were corrected and handled. From there it all went downhill. Our next experience was when we needed to use the lifetime warranty. Shortly after install some kids shattered one of our windows. It took several weeks for the window to come in and then it was the wrong size. Had to reorder and wait a few more weeks to be jerked around with scheduling and rescheduling because they didn't have enough people for the install and ended up still only sending one person out. Our third experience has never been resolved and our sales person and the owner won't respond. We had to place an order to replace our bathroom windows due to a leak in the master bathroom that caused us to have to re-do our whole bathroom. The one technician that finally came out to replace our shattered window took the measurements, our salesperson sent over the paperwork we signed and paid. As our contractor began demolishing the bathroom he had questions regarding frame sizing for the new windows so he knew if/when he could install new tile. After discussions explanations with several people in the company we never got a straight forward answer and decided to not install tile around the windows until the new windows had been installed. It was going to take 16 weeks to get the windows in as an estimate. I tried reaching out to the salesperson and office manager a few times to try to get an update on shipping so we could finish our bathroom. Each time I either got a response of what their process is or no response at all. Then the week that the windows should have been in I received a call from some random dude wanting to come out and measure for my windows to be ordered. He of course just works for the install contractor and has no info regarding my account. After reaching out several times to our salesperson and the office we finally got an answer that someone lost our measurements and our windows had never been ordered even though they had taken our money. Obviously we were pretty upset given we had tried to follow up and were ignored. At this time our salesperson would not call/email/text us back. I asked the office person to have the owner call me; never happened. Finally 10 months after ordering the windows they were scheduled for install. They were the rain glass windows that go in our shower just as we had before however, these windows were see-through especially in the evening and you could completely make out a person's shape/features from the road on the side of our home. Finally our salesperson reaches out to us because now that they are installed they want their second half of the money. We expressed our frustration with her regarding the process and still not having windows that allow us to use our shower. Unfortunately, they don't make their most obscure glass in the size window we need. After lots of back and forth the owner finally comes out to our house to look at the issue. He stood in our shower and promised he would find a solution to our problem no matter how long it took saying it was a unique problem given the location of our home and the fact that our windows are on each corner of our house facing west. After looking at options he decides it would be best to replace the rain glass with clear glass and find a film to make them obscure. He comes out and installs the film on one window and tells us to check it out at night and see if it works. Unfortunately it didn't. He says he has other options he can order in and will get back to us. After several weeks and not hearing anything I tried reaching out a few times before he got back to me. He assures me he is trying other options but hasn't found one that works yet. Not sure where he was trying them as he has never been back to my house and part of the problem was the unique situation at my home. Eventually after not hearing anything back he says he has exhausted all options and do I have any suggestions. I told him my neighbors had Window World install their windows and they put a tint on the outside of their windows to reflect any light. He said he'd come out and look. The next day the salesperson showed up at my door with two cans of some kind of spray tint and told me the owner told her to drop those off for us as it was his last option. I explained my conversation to her from the day before with the owner and she was just as confused as I was. She told me she would address with him the next day in their meeting and get back to me. Now I've been ghosted and I have one window in my shower that has a semi-obscure film and a completely see-through window. It has been over a year since we started this process with them and I completely regret that half the windows in my house have a lifetime warranty with this company because at this point who knows if they'd even respond to those needing replaced. read more

Came door to door trying to sell "windows at below retail prices" in my neighborhood on a Saturday morning. I have a big NO SOLICITING sign on my front door. I pointed to it when the guy came knocking and he scoffed, laughed, and said "ok whatever". It's against the law in Chandler to solicite a home with a no soliciting sign. Came to my door unsolicited saying they were selecting 2 homes in the area to do window replacement for "advertising" basically all I had to do was put a sign in the yard and write a good review saying what I liked. This is a shady sales tactic and I wasn't about it. I did mention to him that HOAs do not allow advertising on signage in yards - seemed questionable at best. read more

Windows are good. Not sure how long vinyl will last in AZ sun. RMK swears by those windows. Only time will tell. RMK provides a lifetime warranty which is good. Bought shutters and blinds also. They delayed the measurements so I had to wait twice as long to have those installed even though they told me the shutters would be ready before the windows. read more

Most businesses tell you they will guarantee things get done right to get your business. Brian from RMK (owner) will stand behind it. Our house had a pretty complicated window in it, the first attempt to replace it was a bit of a struggle. Brian's team immediately let me know, did not try to cover it up/pass it off as "okay". They ended up reordering it (perhaps at a great cost, not sure who ended up footing the bill) Brian was 100% attentive to making sure I was satisfied. He took care of that bigger issue and some smaller (perhaps nit-picky things) He never pushed to get the second half of the bill paid, his focus was on finishing the job, not getting paid for the job. As a side note he was incredibly aggressive about pricing and ended up beating my other quotes by quite a bit. Small businesses like this are increasingly rare, all too common are the businesses too big to care about each customer, but RMK is different. I would recommend them to anyone. read more

We were in the market to get new windows when I opened the door to a salesperson for RMK windows and we set up an appointment for an estimate. While the person giving the estimate did win my trust during this appointment that was all about to change. I had requested windows be installed prior to Thanksgiving but was told that they would try but it would most likely be the week following. After not hearing back from anyone before Thanksgiving and the week after had passed I finally had to call to see when they were planning on installing. We were not on their install list at that time, I had to explain what I was promised installation during these times then received a call back to say they would be out the following week and I would be receiving a call from the installer, time came and went with no call. I called again and finally the installer called me back and in his words they had to squeeze some bigger jobs in before mine and once those were done they would be out. Good to know that my time was not as valuable as the bigger paying jobs. This set the course for our experience throughout the install nothing but excuses for being late and only having one person on the job. They said they would clean up their mess outside before leaving but no, I had to crawl around picking up broken glass all around the outside of my home which was not appreciated. Bottom line we do like our windows, thank god, but the customer service and installation needs more than alot of work. Nobody ever even checked up on us after to see if everything was good or not. I used RMK windows to do a $9000 job on the home I'm living in, which included 2 sets of french doors replaced. We needed new windows for a rental where the windows were a disaster and the heat in the home was terrible due to the window issues. Although I loved the service and the product from RMK on my home, I didn't want that kind of investment for a rental. I got an estimate from another company. RMK just happened to be coming to my home to do a repair (guaranteed for life) and I mentioned that I was having windows done at my rental. The guy from RMK asked if he could have a chance to put in a bid, to which I agreed. As it turned out, I saved $1000's of dollars with RMK and got premium windows. The difference at the rental is remarkable, both in looks, but especially in cooling down the home. RMK has been outstanding to work with, both before, during and after the installation. RMK Windows was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish on our window replacement project. From our first meeting with Jake (sales rep), through the install process and then the demostration of their warranty commitment the RMK team was top notch. We had recently purchased a 1980's home that had been remodeled inside and out except for the windows. The energy and sound improvements with the new windows is incredible and look great too. The smoothness of the windows to open and close is such an improvement over our original windows. The installers were very profressional, cleaned up their work like they were never there, and were very thouruogh in showing us the operation of each window type that was installed. After the windows were complete we noticed a blimish in one of the planes of glass and RMK was very quick to respond and have it replaced, a testiment to their warranty.
