I don't know about you, but if I go to a diner I am going there for the diner experience. I'm not expecting gourmet dining, elegant surroundings, or finely dressed servers. I'm expecting good food, cleanliness and comfortable seating, and efficient service: And that's exactly what you'll find a Lindy's Diner. The eating highlight for us when we popped in for breakfast was my partner's omelette. What made it stand out was the thinness of the outer egg. It was more like a crepe, than a pancake (if you know what I mean). That's the way we like an omelette, and how we make them at home. I had the half portion of the "Souther Benny" -- sausage gravy and a biscuit instead of English muffin & hollandaise. Either they mistakenly gave me the full portion, or the full portion is gigantic. Interestingly, the home fries look super boring. Little square potatoes that look like they have doing on them but paprika. Don't be deceived. Try them. They are deliciously seasoned and perfectly cooked. It was good but if I and known how they prepare their omelettes I would have gone that route. One final note: Out sever was awesome. I wish we wrote down her name so I could use it here. She was super busy, rushing around in a whirlwind, but had had a broad smile every time she stopped by our table and was super helpful and friendly the whole visit. A very solid classic diner choice for breakfast in Keene if you ask me.

Highly recommend Lindy's for great food and service. I know many like to wait for a booth but counter service is great as well. Since the service is so good sitting at the counter adds to the expierence speaking with the waitress and wait staff.

Amazing service and amazing food. Metered parking about $1.50 for one hour. Homemade breads. Indoor and outdoor seating. Takes credit cards.

Finally got a chance to check out Lindy's! Every time I walk past here on the weekends there's always a line for brunch which is a testament to their devoted followers. I got the crab cake BLT and it was so good! That crab cake was top notch in my opinion and I would definitely get it again. Service was fast and attentive and I dig the diner vibe!

If I could give it six stars I would. Short wait was most definitely, truthfully would have waited damn near hours for the food we got. Menu has something for everyone, really appreciated the all day breakfast and lunch! Waitstaff was efficient, accommodating, and extremely pleasant. Isabella went out of her way to ensure we had an amazing experience. The cherry on top of our time at Lindy's Diner was the DELICIOUS and FRESH food. It came out quickly and was a delight to eat. Left excited to come back!

Sure floated my boat. Had a build your own scramble: eggs, shredded potatoes, ham, bacon, pepper jack, jalapeños. It was super.

It's a classic New England greasy spoon diner. Excellent homemade toast and large portions. Clean and takes proper COVID precautions.

What you'd hope for in an updated rustic old Vermont building. 2. The service has been excellent on both visits, with the caveat that breakfast is busy and the food took a long time to arrive. 3. Breakfast was solid. Not transcendent but solid eggs and toast and home fries and coffee and everybody seemed happy. Room for improvement 1. For Putney Vermont - get some decent vegan and vegetarian options. 2. The veggie burger was bean based, mushie old-school 70's style. Fell apart as soon as you picked it up. 3. The cheeseburger was good. It's just that for $18 you could show a little more attention to detail. A greenish slice of winter tomato. A single leaf of iceberg lettuce. 2 ringlets off an onion slice. And no pickle. 4. The fries that came with it had to be sent back to be cooked longer. And there was a big puddle of oil on the plate once I slid the par-cooked fries onto a side dish. The server was lovely about it and they came back fast and cooked through. But my guess is the oil wasn't hot enough hence the grease puddle. 5. The chicken orzo soup was meh. I don't try it. Brought it home for sick family member. And sorry but my personal pet peeve - the pre-calculated tip options were 20,22,25% and all calculated on top of the sales tax. Understand that it has gotten VERY expensive to go out for a burger for your average local. So putting a little more attention into it would be greatly appreciated. All the best, and thank you.

We pulled into the parking area and asked the workers we saw outside where the handicap entrance was and the kid looked at me like I was crazy. He said I don't know. I asked if he worked there and he said yes. ok is there a ramp? He asked another worker who told us to go to the other side of the building. One in our party is in a wheel chair and this place just squeaks by as being accessible. The ramp is old and feels very unsafe and when we got to the top there was no signage and there are no safety handles. It's scary. Once inside we had a wonderful experience. There is ample seating and it's rustic and cute. Our server was very nice Now the food: I got a Patty melt on rye with sweet potato fries (adding a side of maple syrup to dip those fries is a must) the burger was ok but was much too small for the bun. Friend 1 got a juicy mushroom burger with fries. It was very good. Fries are homemade and delicious. Friend 2 got a chicken wrap that tasted very fresh and was delicious. Side of sweet potato fries as well. Over all food is really good but not very wheelchair friendly

Just a little local restaurant that shares a building with a small market. Maple Leaf is utilitarian, nothing fancy, but service is good and the food just what you would expect. Since it had been a while since I had a good diner breakfast I figured I would get one of my favorites, the French Toast. My meal was 3 full slices with a little side of butter patties and a small bottle of maple syrup. I expected the French Toast to be a bit sweet, but this was more just bread dipped in eggs and grilled; it lacked the custardy goodness and moist interior I look for in the best French Toast. Overall this was OK, but nothing special. Maple Leaf seems like a nice little place with pretty good food, unfortunately I think I just picked the wrong item and my expectations may have been to high. If you are looking to grab some breakfast in Londonderry give them a try.

Definitely a place for the locals in the area. Friendly waitresses and good diner food. Took the BLT, Mike's beef vegetable soup, and Tammy's Cran-orange muffin. Bite size pieces of roast beef ...a steamy bowl of this soup will be perfect on a wintry day. The muffin was also good. Orange flavor came through well. Great breakfast spot before a long country road drive.
