There have been many times where I've tried restaurants that had a lot of stars, but the local people are just inflating the reviews. - this is not one of those places. The food here is absolutely phenomenal. The speakeasy vibe even adds to the ambience. The drinks are strong yet not too strong. This restaurant is so good that I am now planning a trip with my wife and my friends to come back up to this area to ski just so I can bring them here and have their mind blown with how great the food is here. if there was an option to give six stars, I would!

Third time I stopped in I had dinner. The bartenders and wait staff dress in 20's attire and the place has that prohibition feel to it. They make high-end cocktails but I usually stick with a gin and tonic. The menu is limited but the meal portion was generous. I had the chicken fried chicken. It was a huge piece of breaded chicken over mashed potatoes and asparagus topped with a traditional white gravy. Very tasty. We've added this establishment to our rotation when we visit Keene.

I mean you're a smoke house, have some photos of the smoker itself, let's see that smoke billowing out. Have some photos of animals (cattle, pigs, chickens). Idk the inside definitely needs help and was a little off putting. Service was quick and kind, a little pushy at the end, the server came up to me and handed me the bill while I was still eating and not even half way through with my meal. Would I go back, would I recommend to friends? I would get the food again, now knowing how the menu works, but I would get it to go since the inside is depressing. I would recommend to a friend, but everything in mind that I just said. Fix the inside of your restaurant and I bet you get more to come, fix your menu so that it's not miss leading and you'll have happier customers. Don't be like everyone else in Keene, that is mediocre food and terrible service. Be better than that, after all you were featured as some of the best BBQ.

The space seemed like it had recently taken over from a previous restaurant and didn't feel very unique or cozy. The hostess seated us quickly on a Friday night, but we weren't greeted by a waiter for about five minutes. We ordered soups to start. The French onion was great, but the tomato soup wasn't anything special. The Hell on Noodles dish sounded interesting, even though I'm not great with spicy food. The waiter said it wasn't too spicy, but I would disagree. It was delicious, just too spicy for my liking. My boyfriend ordered the pho with grilled chicken and really enjoyed the authentic flavors. Both dishes came in generous portions.

But why remove the best items on the menu to make room? Run them as frequent specials and see how well they do. The service has been outstanding here for several years now, greatly improved actually. Please consider returning some of these favorites to your menu. They're not tired, they're a comfort. : )

Although this was communicated politely, it's actually a very rude thing to impose on customers. So, on one hand, if vegans aren't this businesses main focus, its totally understandable not to go through great lengths to cater to us- But, it is an extremely poor business practice to both not serve vegan food and not allow customers to order their own food. Given the number of areas businesses that value vegan customers, it shouldn't be too hard to replace B&B in our rotation.

These are so easy to make yourself. Just buy an ice tray that makes them. The other thing whiskey/bourbon drinkers like in their drinks are the bourbon cherries and not just the plain maraschino cherries. Just two easy recommendations to elavate the experience. The staff was also very friendly.

Their Belgian fries are seriously out of this world, not to mention their amazing dipping sauces to go with them (I myself had maple mayo and curry ketchup, both awesome)!! Their prices are also very reasonable. With everything raising in price lately, it's not uncommon to be spending a ton even on a quick lunch nowadays. This place keeps the cost reasonable for the times while still providing good portions and quality ingredients. They are also extremely "gluten free friendly" for anyone curious. I plan to drive back up to Keene in the very near future, based around having Fritz again!!

We were greeted and told to sit anywhere we wanted. Ambiance: It's a smaller, fairly echoey restaurant, but it's a pizza joint... it's kind of to be expected. After a few, our waitress came and I ordered waters. For some reason our table was missing the drink menu... all others had one. It took a few minutes for our waitress to find one for us. I ordered the Galaxy Lemonade, Jennie chose the Bahama Mama. We were both very disappointed in our drinks. Minute clearly had the Blue Curaçao in it, but there wasn't even the tiniest hint of the Empress Gin... a gin with a very distinctive flavor. It was so lacking that I actually asked our waitress if it was forgotten. I think the drink should've been great, but the curaçao was overpowering the gin. There was 1oz of each liquor. I think 3/4oz BC and 1.25oz Empress might've made it better. While Jennie prefers sweeter drinks, the BM was VERY sweet-forward, lacking flavor from either rum. We are all about the "well-balanced beverage"... neither of these were. Our appetizer (5 Buffalo wings) & pizza arrived at the same time. I thought the wings were great. The heat/flavor ratio was damn-near perfect. Jennie felt they had a bit too much heat... I disagree :) Our thin-crust pizza was also great. Toppings: garlic, tomato, banana peppers, & pepperoni. I feel there should've been much more garlic on it, as it was ordered as a topping, but overall, the crust had a perfect crispness all the way under, so it could be picked up by the edge. We both enjoyed it! The food is worth picking up, but if I'm going to sit in a restaurant for food and drink, I'd like to enjoy the drink. For that reason, we probably won't be back.
