Vegan Desserts
Lo B.

A little out of the way, but so worth the stop if you're around! Their vegan food and desserts are super clean, fresh, and made with minimal ingredients. I love their AZ Sunrise smoothie--it even comes with cute fruit on top. I tried the macrobiotic salad bowl; it was a bit bland and could use more of the yellow dressing, but it was filling. Now their dessert section is next-level--rich, decadent, and dense, so whatever you pick will be indulgent. Definitely a five-star spot for thoughtful vegan fuel. Wish I lived closer! 050425

Breakfast Burrito - refried beans One of my favorites to start the day with :)

I have not been able to have gluten for many years, and as of a year ago or so - I discovered dairy makes me sick as well. It can be very challenging to find restaurants that have foods available that I can have, but Linden Organic hits all of the marks! Their food is always amazing, the breastfast burritos are a perfect way to start your mornings! The service there is always kind and helpful when asking about the foods they're serving that day in a display case. It's always a very calm and peaceful environment to be in. I've never been inside and felt hurried/rushed, or overwhelmed by other customers. It truly is a wonderful spot for both gluten and dairy allergies, the best part being that you know you won't have a risk of cross-contamination. :)

Vegan "Tuna" Sandwich

The tuna sandwich is great. It has a potato base as the tuna and is yummy. The store is nice and quaint with two tables inside and two tables outside. Lots of desserts to try after you enjoy your sandwich. The service is kind and helpful.

10/10 would recommend. It tastes just like a mint chip milkshake! Vibes are immaculate.

Great local spot! Healthy options! Cute decor! Yummy juice! Found this place on yelp. Tucked away!

Mindful Matcha, Chocolate Donut, Snickers Bar

I stopped by Linden Organic because they are an all organic, vegan, gluten-free, and refined sugar-free cafe and I've wanted to check them out for awhile now. There are a couple tables inside (2) but it's more of a grab and go. They have a lot of good stuff - including coffee (but I already had mine this morning) so I opted for the: Mindful Matcha Smoothie Chocolate donut Snickers bar Tasty stuff and friendly.

PB & J

I discovered Linden Organic while I was pregnant and was searching for somewhere that promoted healthy organic food and drinks - I'm a huge fan! I like variety & am slowly trying all the smoothies on their menu; my favorites so far are the AZ Sunrise & PB & J. I've tried their breakfast burrito, cheesecake, & double chocolate protein muffin - everything so far has tasted delicious! Their staff is incredibly kind & they have always greeted me with a smile. It's a clean & cozy little smoothie shop & I love that they are open earlier now at 7am so I can grab something on the way to work. Highly recommend for any expecting mamas - their nutritious organic smoothies were good for baby and helped me stay hydrated during our extra hot triple digit summers!

AZ Sunrise Bowl

Delicious! Little pricy but great clean and healthy ingredients. Great post hike snack!

Chocolate Maca

What a fun place! The menu is a lot to take in, so I suggest looking beforehand so you have an idea of what you want. The place is quaint, with a few small tables inside to sit down and eat. We went with the Maca bowl (which is easily shareable between 2-4 people), snickers bar, vegan tuna sandwich and their Chickpea salad (in their to go section). I also got their matcha latte with almond milk. Everything was awesome and the owner was super kind and welcoming. The vegan tuna sandwich is clearly the superstar and honestly, a piece of art. I will be thinking about that sandwich for a while, it's so good.

Overview of Restaurant

Very welcoming folks and a wonderful variety of delicious plant-based breakfast foods, smoothies, bowls, espresso and tea.

Heirloom Tomato Toast
Ali B.

Love a good vegan spot, especially ones with healthy/organic food! This is just a small place, you can order stuff to be made or some premade options. I had a hard time deciding between the avocado toast or the heirloom tomato toast, but I get avocado toast all the time so I went for the heirloom tomato toast! It had cashew cheese on it, micro greens, red onion, and a lemon to squeeze. Food came out in a reasonable time, no complaints for service. The food was so so incredibly fresh. YUM! Was refreshing. Only complaint was that it was really expensive but I guess that makes sense for an organic place. Would def stop by again.

Hidden in the southwest plaza, is a cute vegan spot that serves baked treats, smoothies, food, and of course açaís bowls. I got the original acai bowl with came in one size only and probably be shared with at least two people. Nicely presented, the base had plenty of unsweetened acai, grain fee granola (a bit hard but let it sit in the acai to soften up), fresh strawberries, bananas, 2 thin slices of green apple, cocoa nibs, and topped with coconut shavings. Everything was top notch! Recommended the acai bowls here. Looking forward to trying other ones on the menu. Plenty of parking but can get busy. Tables were clean, they do have a restroom for customers, and the staff were great.

Smoothie bowl

This juicery is in a small plaza. There is plenty of parking available. The inside is very modern and cute. The service is attentive and friendly. The reason for the 3 stars is the price. I understand healthy food as well as dairy free, etc costs more. I just can't understand how the smoothie bowl is $16! I can get an entire gluten free, dairy free meal for that. With tip I walked out with an $18 smoothie bowl. There was a good amount in there and I couldn't finish it in one sitting. It doesn't keep overnight too well though and was not able to finish it the next day due to this. If I'm in the area and craving a smoothie I may stop by, but this is definitely not something sustainable for me to become a regular at.

As a health food vegan, I am always on the lookout for food like this: whole foods/plant-based, including some oil-free options. Their whole menu reads like a list of my favorite food buzzwords: buckwheat, lentil cauliflower scramble, sunflower seed meat, local fermented sauerkraut, freshly milled Sonoran wheat; tempeh, sourdough, homemade seeded bread, homemade cashew milk, etc. etc. It was legitimately hard to decide what to get. I went with the baked(!) strawberry banana oat buckwheat pancakes. Super tasty, and a generous portion. I also couldn't resist an oil-free sunbutter cookie (with its wacky bluegreen tinge that was apparently from the sunflower seeds) and also loved the cold brew coffee with cashew milk.

The restaurant was fairly busy with a few people waiting for their takeout. There's ample seating indoor and some outdoor. I ordered lemon sesame tofu tacos and bacon mac & cheese on one of their devices near the entrance. A staff member came up to me shortly after and asked if I wanted a sample of their lemonades. I don't remember what flavor, but it was tasty and refreshing. My order didn't take too long and I waited to enjoy them at home. The tofu tacos were phenomenal! Full of flavor and way better than I expected. The bacon mac and cheese was also fantastic. It was rich and creamy. Not too busy of a shopping area so parking was easy. I walked inside and a staff member asked if I was picking up, and had my food ready to go. I didn't ask for utensils and thankfully they didn't give me any. They do have them available on the side if needed. I liked that they had free stickers so I took two. It wasn't busy when I stopped by, just one couple dining in, but they had a few bags for takeout so that seems to keep them busy. Ambiance was nice with good amount of seating. I decided to have lunch in the nearby preserve and I enjoyed my food. I ordered the chickn sandwich, buffalo style, with a side of fries. The sandwich was delicious! Loved the flavors and it was filling. I'm glad I got it Buffalo style because the spiciness was great. The fries tasted good but were soft rather than crispy, which is what I prefer. I also got a side of cheez sauce ($2) which was pricey considering the size, and it didn't taste like cheese or anything similar. I would pass on this in the future. I ordered their Brussels sprouts which came with a side of tahini sauce, but they were salty and yummy so the sauce wasn't necessary imo. Overall I love vegan food and I wish there were more restaurants that serve it. This spot is solid and I'd come back to try other menu items and support them.

There are honestly nothing but amazing things to say about Flower Child. After finally checking it…read moreout for the first time a few months ago, it instantly jumped to the top of my list for go-to spots. It's rare to find a kitchen that is completely focused on health-conscious food while delivering absolutely incredible, bold flavors, but they nail it every time. Favorite dishes: The food here completely changes the game when it comes to clean eating: The Sweet Potato Fries: A total masterpiece. They aren't even deep-fried, yet they have this perfect texture and rich flavor that fools you into thinking they are. They come served with a yummy, fresh homemade ranch dressing that pairs perfectly. It honestly blows my mind how good these are. The Mother Earth Bowl: This dish is proof that healthy food doesn't have to be boring. It makes prioritizing your veggies and clean protein completely effortless, with zero feeling of sacrifice. All the distinct flavors come together so perfectly that I fall in love with it all over again every single time I order it. The Broccoli Pesto: Such a clever and creative twist on a classic. It was so delicious that I actually figured out how to recreate it at home, and now the whole family is obsessed with it. The Elite Group Dining Experience One of the best things about this menu is how satisfying it is for a crowd. No matter what anyone in our party orders, everyone leaves completely full and satisfied. In fact, the portions are so generous that you should definitely plan on having leftovers--there is easily enough for two full meals. Plus, because the ingredients are so clean, it's the one place where I never feel an ounce of guilt about going out to eat after leaving. Inclusivity and Value: The kitchen is exceptionally accommodating, offering fantastic vegan and gluten-free options that taste like main attractions rather than afterthoughts. On top of that, the pricing is great for the quality you get, and they even offer a highly appreciated military discount. Space, Patio, & Family-Friendly: The vibe inside is beautiful--very open, bright, and airy, with fresh flowers on the tables that add a wonderful touch to the ambience. It is also incredibly kid-friendly; they thoughtfully provide crayons and coloring pages right by the drink station to keep the little ones entertained. Outside of the blazing summer months, we also absolutely love having lunch out on their cute patio. Because it's such a popular spot, though, you definitely want to have a game plan for your visit. The parking lot and tables fill up fast during peak hours. To guarantee a seamless experience, go during off-peak times. For dinner, we love heading in right around 5 PM to beat the rush, which guarantees easy parking and a great seat.

I hope the owner realizes this mistake but honestly they don't care. People don't care about anything these days, they just make poor decisions while claiming it's beneficial, and for Flower Child, this looks bad on the restaurant when their most popular dishes are eliminated from the menu, while they push the bull**** excuse of periodically changing their menu. And truth be told, the other items offered on their menu are not good and not appealing whatsoever. That said, this was it for me. I came, I enjoyed the two dishes while they were available but now I bow out and leave for good.
