Sloppy is an understatement. This is what $70 will get you at Lily Nail Spa... I complained and Lynn agreed to fix this. I had to wait an hour for her to finish with her client. Then 2 minutes into fixing my nails she let me know it would be an additional $5 to get my desired shape... In the end, what i expected to be a quick nail appointment turned into 4 hours! The results were mid to say the least. Best part is she admitted it wasn't good work and that she "tried her best" to fix it, then proceeded to charge me full price! Cheap and quick, I was shocked at their nextgen prices. I walked in and quickly serviced. The guy was quick and friendly. New to the area and trying out new salons - I will list the pros and cons- but I won't be returning. Quick and cheap -pro Close to my home -pro I have the impression that the salon and instruments are not 100% clean and sterile- I asked and they said everything was clean and showed me the package- but i am fairly certain the nail file and foot scrapper was not sterilized after I left and I think it gets reused without being cleaned and sanitized. There was no music - not very relaxing to sit in silence. I got gel mani with à crome top- and my nails are already chipping and coming off after a few hours. The mani and pedi were sloppy done. I normally don't leave reviews. After reading some good & bad reviews about Lily Nail Spa, I decided it is important that I leave my review of the salon & it's staff. I have a very dear friend and her sister that have been going to this salon for at least 5 years if not more. They use Yoli, Maria & Luisa. These ladies do a great job and are very sweet & polite. The owner Linda & her husband are very challenged with their communication and at times they certainly appear they come across very rough, but I think it's their culture. It does not help that they are the ones that welcome the walk ins & answer the phone too. I believe that they are able to keep prices good due to no receptionist, etc. I returned to this shop after trying others in my area. The first visit along time ago was very negative because of the owner Linda's social skills, etc. Funny, but after my friend kept telling me to give it a second chance I decided to do so. Now, I truly am very happy I went back. Linda the owner is the one that is doing my acrylics with gel nail polish on top. She does an Amazing job to perfection. She does not make small talk, and speaks to her friend in their language too. None of this bothers me. I am a very busy business women and I need to get in to do my nails & pedi done right. I need to get in & out fast! The price is very good too. Lynda social skills might not be the best but actually that's not why I need a nail shop. So if you can ignore the negative I am sure you will be happy there. They have lots of elderly clients that are very happy too. I love to see them come in. Overall I am glad I came back! What ever you do, avoid this salon at all cost. I walked in and the lady at the desk asked me "what do you want?" I said pedicure and an eyebrow wax. No "hello how are you." What kind of costumer service is that? I went about my pedicure which was done by a gentleman and it was ok. Then comes the eyebrow wax. I was taken into a room where it was absolutely disgusting. The waxing table was dirty, the floor was dirty and it didnt help that the woman at the desk was doing my eyebrow. She puts scorching hot wax on my eyebrows, i cried. The way she moved my head back and forth was just rough. She was not gentle at all. So now I leave this place with an ok pedicure and eyebrows that are on fire and look horrific. The price was pretty good, $32 for both services and the workers are intense and they seem to know what they are doing. Basically you get what you pay for, typical nail salon, quick service, good and then out the door. Not too spa like. Also, I think they cut my toe nails a little too short, but they are even, and polished and look lovely! Cash tip only, and not really much seating if you are waiting for someone. If you are looking to be treated like diamonds and rubies, go someplace and pay more for the same service. read more

Went to Lily Nail Spa earlier this week for the first and the last time. I have been going to the same nail salon for years but due to the fact that I moved I decided to try one closer and more convenient. I was already reluctantly nervous and I was rightfully so. I started with an eyebrow wax (just to clean it up). Usually you get the wax and then it gets plucked and brushed out to make sure nothing was missed. Then I'm usually handed a mirror to make sure it's to my liking. At Lily Nail Spa I had your typical wax and then I hear "okay you're done". No plucking, no mirror. I kind of wait a moment thinking "surely I'll get a mirror". Nope. Onto the manicure. During the entire manicure I'm just wondering what my eyebrows look like, were they totally waxed off? I would have no way of knowing! Because I'm feeling festive I choose to do a deep purple with a slight shimmer as my nail color. As the polish is going on I notice it looks red, not at all purple. I didn't want to say anything because it didn't seem like the nail tech was approachable. Moral of the story, I definitely should have said something. Not only did the color turn out as a brassy reddish/brown but the actual manicure is so sloppy and spotty it just looks gross combined with the ugly color. The whole experience was so uncomfortable for me and incredibly disappointing. I'm so upset I will be paying an extra $30 to get them redone at my typical nail salon that I should have gone to from the beginning. read more

I stood there for another couple mins being ignored waiting for an answer and another woman said " sorry honey we are busy, come back tomorrow." My friend and I went to this nail salon because it was closer to home than the one we generally go to by work (plus the prices seemed a lot more reasonable). What a mistake! First off, we made appointments and those appointments were not honored whatsoever. The nail tech I had the displeasure of being assigned to was one of the rudest individuals I have ever come into contact with. Not only did she have the tendency to glare at me with an evil eye, but she legitimately snapped at me to stop picking at my finger at one point (sorry, but you didn't file my nail down and I had sharp pieces sticking out!). The entire experience was her barking orders and looking at me like I was somehow irritating her, despite the fact that I was silent and minding my own business. I also got my eyebrows waxed and left with dried blood on my face. Additionally, while we live in Florida and bugs are to be expected, it was rather disconcerting that while I was getting my manicure done, tiny bugs were crawling on my nail tech's arm. My friend also saw bugs crawling on the work station where she was getting her manicure done. My friend wants me to add this in as well: When she was getting her pedicure, the ladies on either side of her ended up bleeding from their toes, therefore she refused to allow her tech to use nail clippers or cuticle cutters on hers out of fear of the same. She also opted to just have clear nail polish put on her nails because the process took for-ev-er (we were there for almost 2 hours) and she had no more patience left to even select/wait for a color. Regardless of not having a color on her nails, she was charged the full price of a gel manicure (and was told she was going to have to pay $1 additional per nail for the color she chose for her pedicure until the patron next to her corrected her nail tech). We will never go back to this place again. We will gladly spend the extra money to be treated like human beings and not sit in a place that has a stone cold atmosphere rather than EVER return to this salon. read more

I work 3 minutes away from the shop. Our supervisor gave us all a 30.00 gift certificate as Christmas gifts. I made an appointment 3 days prior to the date and time I wanted my mani/pedi. My coworker called and hour before and was given the same time as my appointment. we arrived 2 minutes of each other. Only to find 3 appointments for the same time. I waited 30 minutes to be serviced. Poor service, no thank you, no come again...nothing.. Oh and the credit card machine was down. Oh I forgot they did say something to me. Hands down the worst! 1st the pedicure lady,(Tina, not her real name) was filling foot bath and cleaned her eyeglasses in the water going on my feet, next she reaches over to get the DREMMEL (surely illegal, as Home Depot does not have a pedicure section) that the man just used on the lady next to me and turned it on to use on me I had to say NO that is disgusting no offense to the lady next to me but she wasnt even going to clean it!! Then as she was using the sponge/ scrubber thing on my feet she put it on the floor! Then another lady comes to "start" my manicure while im sitting in pedicure chair, she puts a bowl of water on my lap as I had to reach my left hand over to the right where she was sitting!! Beyond uncomfortable, completely unclean, unproffessional and should be reviewed by the health dept as I watched violation after violation, I got up they sat someone else down and NEVER cleaned foot bath!! The lady at the first work station next to the front desk has a terrible attitude. I walked in 2 hours before closing time, there were only two people in the shop at the time. I guess because I interrupted her while watching a movie on her cell phone is the reason why she decided to give me poor service. I was very clear on what I wanted, a full set pink and white manicure. She proceeded to say "what?" several times like she couldn't understand what I was saying. Then she proceeded to dip my fingers in some mysterious powder. When she finished my tips were uneven and my nails were dull. I thought because maybe she misunderstood me and put acrylic on my nails that she would charge me 30 dollars, instead she charged me 40 and gave me a lecture about making an appointment first. Keep in mind that a woman with two children walked in after me and asked if anyone was available, and she didn't lecture her about making an appointment! I hope if the manager reads this she knows that I feel offended this is not the first time I was treated poorly in her shop. I have struggled with finding ANYONE who can give a decent manicure. Not gel or shellac but just a basic manicure. I live nearby and decided to give Lily Nails a try, but was skeptical due to the fact it was only $11.00! I met Maria and got the best manicure ever! It is now 4 days later and my mani looks like day one. Normally my manis last 4-5 days and by day 5 I have to do a polish change but my nails have no chips and no wearing! I did notice that Maria took care to seal the ends of my nails and really is a professional. I will go back! Best $15 ever spent. read more

I went to try out this nail salon as I live close by and its convenient. When I walked in, no one acknowledged my presence... at all. After a couple minutes of standing there I overheard a few workers basically bickering over who had to do my nails. The male refused because he "was on break"- and so a lady took me. The male worker was sitting on his phone at one of the desks watching a video so loud on his phone. I couldnt believe how unprofessional- im sure they have a break room if that was the case. Anyway, TERRIBLE customer service. The manicure came out ok, but she was very rough on my hands. 3 nails actually bled which never happened to me before at other salons. I left with a gel polish- and they looked nice but we will see how long they last. Needless to say, i will go somewhere else. 25.00 for a manicure is a lot of money, and with a salon in almost every plaza - you need to give better service. read more
