This place is a hidden gem and I highly recommend coming in especially if you don't want to break the bank. There's also a $1.00 service fee for using credit card so if you don't want to pay that, come in with cash. There's barely ever people here, but the service is quick. This was my worst experience getting my nails done. I went in to get the NextGen mani, and when I asked for the colors for NextGen the look the owner gave me was so condescending. I sat down and I wasn't asked any questions, the nail technician just started doing my nails. My nails a stuck to my skin, I have power all over my fingers, nails are uneven, my nail beds hurts, and I have so many cuts on my fingers that every time my finger gets wet I'm in pain. Very disappointing! I read reviews before going so I just expected great service. Instead, I was cut by the drill two different times. When I made a sound, she looked at me like I had two heads and did not even say she was sorry! She hurried through the entire process, as if she could not wait to get done. I left with a sloppy job, cut up cuticles, and not very shapely nails nails. I believe it was the owner however she had zero personality. After I paid and tipped her, she did not even say thank you or goodbye, she just got up and walked toward the back. Not a good experience for me. Hopefully it's better for others. I told the nail tech I wanted a soak off, she then said no and used the fake nail tips to groove under my dip nails to take them off (even though I told her I had injured them previously) she then did a soak off after she shoved the fake nail tip under all my nails. It was so painful. she then filed them all wrong even though I showed her a picture. I wanted natural rounded almond shaped nails. I was trying to ask if I can file at least one nail to show her and she would not let me. She then almost put gel top coat when I asked for the nexgen topcoat. Then to make things even better the nexgen topcoat didn't even dry after 10 mins. I left with tacky bumpy nails. read more

They are open later on Sunday evenings too. The shop is a bit hard to find in a shopping center but worth the trip and quick search. I love going to get my nails done here. I've been to many places in boca and Delray before I found this place and I can't seem to compare the service of this place with any other. Everyone here is very nice and does a great job with nails especially the manager and the one men that works here. Although, everyone does a good job even the girls that do my pedi, I never have a complain. I've done gel manicures, nexegen nails, and tips. Everything comes out great and lasts a long time. This is my place of choice to get my nails done. As it is very quiet and peaceful inside as well. The prices are also reasonable! This nail salon is easily one of the worst nail salons ever. To start off I got my toes done, very dirty and unsanitary, she was messing around the whole time while filing as if the money I had to pay for her work was some kind of joke. Not long after I'd say about 10 minutes you would think it would be dry by then right? Nope not dry so when I went to get my nails done after, the lady rolled over my foot and my toes were messed up. Then as I was getting my acrylics done I could tell they were missing a lot of steps. Now I am no nail tech and yes all places run different but as someone who gets their nails done a lot this was ABSOULUTLY shit. She missed big sections on each side of all of my nails. She asked if I wanted them shorter I said yes and she said "no it's ok" excuse me? Didn't you just ask if I wanted it shorter? She went over my skin multiple times with the nail file and it did hurt. I promise I am not a dramatic person but I am honest and this nail place is ABSOULUTLY Fucking terrible DO NOT GO HERE. It was not worth 83 fucking dollars. We've been going to this location for YEARS (everyone from my aunt, grandma, cousins, mom to myself). Each time, our nails are done fine (nothing special) but the staff is BEYOND rude. When you walk in, the woman on the left side is always making sleigh comments to customers. The last time I went with my grandma and mother, she was running late - they took both my grandma and mother immediately so I was browsing the colors. My nail tech let me know she was ready so I came with a few color options and asked if she could test them out on my nails. She rolled her eyes and let out a large 'pfffff' - I asked if something was wrong and she said 'I have another appointment after'. I was SHOCKED because she was the one running late. I told her that I was on time, had been waiting for her to finish her previous appointment (which she was running late), and didn't see a problem in trying a few nail colors. She continued to defend herself and said it's better if someone else does my nails (note: the only other two employees were working on my grandmother and mom which would mean that I'd have to wait more). I was surprised that was her first response but since I was appalled by her behavior, I said that was fine but she kept being rude... she then started YELLING (which was extremely unacceptable). That is when my mom chimed in to defend me and let her know that she can't yell at me but she kept doing so. She then said she didn't need our business because 'I'm the owner'. Turns out, she is in fact one of the owners. She was very rude up until I told her that I had a large social media following - her attitude took a 180 degree turn but regardless, I was over the situation. You shouldn't treat any customer (let alone a person) this way (regardless of their popularity). This was the last straw for me - avoid at all cost!!! read more

I started coming here a few months ago. (My regular place HK closed during covid and LKnails did not answer to make an appointment.) It was good and the only issue I had was they do NOT have matching polish for toes to match with the nexgen/powder dip colors...HOWEVER, I will not be going back after my last visit. I brought my mom (from out of town). She wanted to treat me to ombré nexgen short coffin/ballerina nails, toe polish change and eyebrow wax. I had an appointment. A customer wanted eyebrow wax and the owner said she was too busy. I told the owner if she wanted to stop working on me to do the eyebrows I don't mind waiting. I was trying to be helpful and courteous. I wish I received some of that courtesy back. Every service was rushed and carelessly done. Eyebrows- she was annoyed that when she finished I pointed out strays and asked her to pull them. Toes-I will add pictures. The polish was sloppy. I'll try to post a picture. Nails -The owner was rushing so much she cut my skin 3x with the electric file. I said "You so busy. You're rushing and keep cutting me." She put alcohol on it. When she finished my nails I asked her if she could fix the shape. I asked for coffin. On almost EVRY SINGLE FINGERNAIL She had squared one side and coffin the other side. I showed her and she again was annoyed. I showed her a picture of short coffin/ballerina nails and she filed randomly and still didn't angle any of the squared off sides. I asked her for the nail file. I HAD TO COFFIN THE NAILS MYSELF!!!! I had to file EVERY SINGLE NAIL TO BE SYMMETRICAL. Then I got up and showed her. She asked if that was better. I said "it's whatever. I'm not a nail tech." She yelled at me to "sit down I'll fix it." Then she said she originally couldn't do coffin on my nails like normal because my nails were weird. (Mind you I had been coming for months and my nails were never weird before) She said my nails were crooked and she couldn't fix the shape. I said maybe you're not familiar with coffin. She was offended and showed me IG pics of coffin nails and I just said well ive done coffin plenty of times. I HAVE NEVER HAD TO FILE MY OWN SHAPE. Finally we went to pay. We still gave her $5 tip,less than 10%. I once tipped her $5 on a $3 nail fix. She deserved NO tip. I will never go back here. read more

Meh. I've given myself a better polish and my hands shake. I came here because of the yelp rating and proximity to the Apple store which wasn't open yet. The nail tech was on her cell almost the whole time and her priorities were on the phone call of a personal nature, upselling me on services I didn't want, and getting through working on my nails as quickly as possible to get to her next customer, in that order. The whole process from the time I sat on the chair to being shoved in the general direction of the drying station was 15 minutes, and I was out the door almost exactly 30 minutes after I walked in the door. On the plus side, it *was* quick, and inexpensive for the area. That said, I'll stick to my regular places from now on. read more

I live close to TLC Nail Salon and I go to them out of convenience and many times I do not have an apt and they always greet me with kindness and squeeze me in. I do recommend making an appointment though. They always pick the best color for me as I can never make up mind with the multitude of colors offered at salons. And my acrylic nails always come out so perfect and beautiful and I receive so many compliments from strangers on how pretty my nails are. Tried this place twice, asked for a different technician after the first time since I thought that would yield better results. Unfortunately, it did not. Both times, extremely mediocre, if not sub par mani/pedi experience. Cuticles not properly soaked in hot water and treated before removal. Lackluster hand massage. My whole gel manicure took less than 30 minutes. With my previous guy (who has moved out of state) he spent a good amount of time 45-60 minutes for a full manicure, cuticle treatment, good massage, etc. They assigned a different lady for my pedicure. As nice as she was, her English skills were non-existent. I had to get someone else to translate to request more cuticle and callus removal. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to finding skilled and detail oriented service providers. The search continues for a new place and an excellent nail technician. read more
