I came here because I was due for a pedicure, girllll. I was due! Anywho, I came here since I dropped off my puppies for their dental and decided I deserved a self-care Saturday. Somewhere nearby! I originally was just going to get a coffee and get some work done nearby BUT the day had a different plan for me as TIPSY NAILBAR BOCA was conveniently located next to Carmela coffee SO WAS IT DESTINY? Maybe, some may say YES! Ha ha Anywho, I didn't have an appointment and inquired about a walk-in pedicure. Although they were clearly busy, I was taken back pretty quickly. About 5 minutes before I got taken back to a seat. And maybe about 5-10 before someone came over but the massage chair and water helped. I did the Signature Pedicure with French Gel with Kelly which comes with a drink (wasn't offered but I figure it's because they saw I had a drink but would've been nice to be asked at least, I would've taken a soda ha ha). She was very kind, thorough, and efficient. She wastes no time, love that for me because I love to take my time and enjoy it by being in the moment but if you're on a time crunch, it helps. After she finished, she oiled up my toesies and put on my sandals for me. My french pedi came out perfect and I love that Kelly made sure to ask me if I liked it, which makes a big difference after having gone to so many salons who don't care enough to ask. Will def come back, I'm in Boynton but I'd make the drive! read more

The absolute worst nail salon I've ever gone to. Would not recommend and would never go back. From start to finish, it was a 20 min pedicure (at most), with upcharges for regular services and no massage whatsoever. Terrible. Do not recommend. Go somewhere else. I had Mimi and it was horrible. read more

Vanessa did my pedicure. She did an amazing job! Great atmosphere with massage chairs. Easy to make an appointment. Easy parking.

I'm crying driving to a different nail salon right now. I had an appointment with Ken since I saw a review he did designs well and I also do designs. I don't even know if he exists I never saw him and was never answered where he was. I'm going to tell everyone I don't like to go here read more

The service was nice but very quick. I asked for builder gel refill and he missed a corner on my nail and also looked up and cut my cuticle. Then we go for pedicure and I asked to fix the corners of my nails on the big toe to be fixed so he put acrylic on the whole nail then I asked him to do square and they were very sharp on edge so I asked for more round he goes that's natural not square. Ok? On the website it says gelscrub for basic pedicure. I did not get that. He scrubbed for 30 seconds on each foot with tool and that was it. I thought it was weird how it's Tipsy nail bar and they offered no one a beverage not even water. I did end up asking for a glass because duh. Anyways overall 3/5. read more

My first experience was a dud. Such a bummer, what a beautiful birthday gift for the first time and I wouldn't recommend this location or any other that conducts this type of business. This is located off of glades near 441 in boca raton. I expected better. From the moment you enter the door until your booted out you have zero customer service with such a hefty price tag. I really wanted to like something new and help small businesses but this place is not it, the pedicure was not any better. Manicure was done without zero questions on preferences, what i want, cut, size, only thing they'll ask is what color, make sure they don't lose it OR hold on to it. Make sure to give them lots of guidance or they'll go to work and you end up with this manly look. Wish y'all luck and a happy new year, try another location maybe. For me is a no. :-/ read more

I go here all the time they are amazing and always have availability. My nails always last 4 weeks or longer

I have been coming here since August the place is clean friendly and the woman that does my nails is very talented BUT when you have an appointment and they sit a walk in with your manicurist and she runs an hour behind that becomes the place that will never see my business again. When I got there I asked the owner how late she was running he said 10 minutes. I went and got coffee. No big deal. When I came back he proceeded to remove the polish from my nails and still she was not available. She was over an hour behind my polish was filed off and I left. They are very pricey and I always left a 25% tip. They lost my business for good. They could have called me and told me she was running behind. They could have not filed off my polish. They could have even offered me some compensation but they did nothing. THE WORST RUN BUSINESS IN BOCA read more

My son and I went for pedicures last Sunday. My mani-pedi was ok, however, my son's pedicure was a disaster. His pedicurist gave him a fancy pedicure even though he just wanted a plain pedicure. The next day my son woke up with a swollen big toe. He soaked it and it didn't improve. So this morning he went to the podiatrist and was diagnosed with a serious infection. I guess we won't be going there again. read more

Anna did a great job on my nails! She helped me match the color and shape and asked the right questions without making me feel stupid. They look amazing, and I feel like she took her time. I'll probably be back again to receive the same quality in a manicure in the future because ya never know what you're gonna get sometimes, but it won't be my new regular spot, because I paid $64 plus tip for a pink acrylic full set which is very much on the pricey side, and it was very much a typical nail salon. Also, despite the name of the business, I was never offered any sort of beverage, even water or soda, and I didn't see anywhere they would have beverages to offer if they'd thought to do so. All in all though, great experience! Super stoked for my Vday nails. Shape is almond, color is baby pink. read more

The salon is very clean and very nicely decorated. Chairs were very comfortable. Though my toes look fine, I was disappointed in the pedicure. $35 for a 20 minute pedicure. The "lotion massage" was not a massage. It was less than 1 minute per leg to rub the lotion in. Also, no heel buffing/scrubbing. It was very rushed and not at all relaxing. read more

Worst manicure I have had. All of my nails chipped and peeled within 2 days. And I get manicures weekly. Won't go back.

After reading a five star review from fellow Elite, Natasha B, I decided to stop in last week and give them a shot. Thank you Natasha for your great review. I had the perfect experience here and my next appointment is already scheduled! I just left my annual mammogram appointment and I decided some pampering was in order, you know to balance out my day. I looked on Yelp, read Natasha's review and decided to just drive over. I didn't have an appointment but I was just a few blocks away, so I took a chance & off I went. I love the Tipsy Salonbar in Dania Pointe so I am familiar with the Tipsy franchise. They weren't busy so I had the Signature Pedicure ($45) and it was one of the best pedicures I have ever had. I had the best nail tech, her name is My, but it is pronounced as May. This girl was amazing. The foot & leg massage was relaxing and like the other Tipsy I have been to, My used fresh orange slices to massage into my legs. The oranges have vitamin C so it's good for your skin, but the orange aroma just makes the experience so much better. The heated neck wrap was an unexpected surprise and it felt so good. My offered me a beverage but I declined, I really was comfortable and had everything I needed. The Signature Pedicure was the basic pedicure plus an exfoliating sugar scrub and a callus remover, and lots of soothing massage action and I was loving every second of my pedicure. At first I thought $45 was a bit steep, but I quickly found out that it was worth every penny. Like anything else, you get what you pay for; and for me it was without a doubt worth the splurge. I also had a polish change on my hands and My did my nails while I was relaxing in the pedicure chair. My nails never looked better! The salon is new and it's gorgeous, modern and most importantly, squeaky clean. Another surprise was each of the nail techs were friendly and genuinely nice ladies. They were smiling and they all really looked happy. My next appointment is scheduled so I highly recommend Tipsy Salonbar! read more

My current nail place kept disappointing me and I decided I had enough and needed to try somewhere else. I'm so happy I did! After my sister's recommendation, I made my nail appointment with B. Tipsy Nail Bar is brand new. They do actually have a bar where you can drink wine and champagne. The place is very clean and decorated in a glam aesthetic. Very cute and girly. B was my nail tech and she was incredible. She is kind and patient. Very attentive to detail and takes her time. I couldn't have asked for a better nail tech! I took off my acrylic nails and asked for a gel nail design last minute. I also did a signature pedicure. She was able to do it and blew my expectations out of the water. Honestly, I HIGHLY recommend coming here. This will be new nail place. read more

I was busting my parents in Boca and wanted to finally get my nails done. We've been in this pandemic for almost two years so I was nervous about it being too crowded or people not wearing masks as Florida is wild like that. My mom and I made appointments online the day before and received text messages to confirm our appointments for the next day(Saturday). We were running a few minutes late so we called and they were kind and shared it wasn't a problem. When we arrived we were greeted immediately by Ken and asked what beverage we wanted to drink. We were guided to their beautiful spa chairs which are brand new and offer delicious amazing massages. Sue worked with my mom and Cindy worked with me. The pedicure was amazing! If you get the organic pedicure ($70)everything comes in a box and different flavors you can chose for. My mom got the cucumber pedicure and I got the mango. The organic pedicure includes a salt soak, mask treatment, massage, and paraffin treatment all which were excellent. I decided to also get my nails painted and it was a basic manicure($30) which includes cuticle shaping, nail file, soak and massage. Cindy and Sue were so very kind and welcoming! It was the perfect Saturday that we needed. Some patrons didn't have masks on but everyone else did and it wasn't crowded as it's still new. Since they are new they are offering a 20% discount on all services. Go to Tipsy Nail in Uptown Boca for a true spa treatment! read more

I got a gel pedicure and gel manicure done here on a Sunday as a walk in. (I might add this isn't my normal nail salon too) They were not busy and able to take me in which was nice but the tech seemed to do my nails in such a rush. She did the quicks massage for my pedicure and then when cleaning my cuticle on one of my toes she hurt. Now to my manicure she had to remove my gel x manicure which entails drilling and soaking off too. She rushed so fast through this process as well that it seemed it was bothered to do my nails. Then doing my gel manicure she did such a terrible job that within one day the polish started to chip and lift. Photos for reference those are my nails 4 days after getting them done. Never never go to this salon if you want to pay almost $100 for a gel pedicure and gel manicure for a manicure that will barely last you 2 days. At least my pedicure has lasted. I did go back. To the nail salon to request my money back for the manicure and I was meet with resistance as they normally do not do refunds but if you provide a service that did meet a customer's expectation you should provide a refund. After much demand they say they will refund my credit card back, that is to be seeing if not I will be returning. They offered to redo my nails but I do not want my nails redone at a place that did not meet my expectations how can I assured they will be done correctly again. May I add that the entire time I was at the salon asking for a refund I did not raise my voice and yet the manager, Sue was yelling at me and then as I was leaving one of their techs was yelling to never come back. read more

Really unhappy with how my acrylic nails turned out here. I went yesterday and wanted black dip powder with a silver chrome powder on top. The nail technician who did my nails did the black dip and then rubbed on the chrome powder and then told me to wash my hands. I washed and scrubbed my hands extremely thoroughly, taking several minutes to do so, as there was chrome powder all over the sides of every single one of my nails. I could not get the powder off as it was stained. When I came back to the table I pointed out how there was powder on every single one of my nails and she told me we were not done yet. She soon put top coat on and completed my nails, but there was still chrome powder all over my skin of every single nail. As I went to pay, I realized I am unhappy and said something once again that there is powder on each nail. The nail technician told me "let's just not do chrome" and because I was so unhappy with the way my nails had turned out up until this point, I agreed just so I could leave. She drilled off the chrome powder and then took the drill to my skin to drill off the powder that was all over the sides. This left my skin raw and bleeding on multiple fingers. Because the drill had made my nails dull, my nails needed another layer of black dip powder. Instead of using dip powder for the final layer as all the other layers had been, she used regular polish as the last coat, put on top coat and called it a day. I have gotten many dip powder manicures before, and have never had regular polish used as the final layer. I unhappily paid the $60 despite my technician being aware I was unhappy with the way my nails had turned out. I only went yesterday, and one of my nails is already peeling. This is from the regular polish being hastily used as color correction over the dip powder. I never write bad reviews but this was truly a bad experience and I would never come back here read more

I came in and like most salons they asked me to pick a color. There were racks and racks of polish but mostly not the ones I use so it took a while to find a color and one that wasn't gel. I opened some and they were old and dried out. i finally found some polish that was fresh. The predure was ok. He did a nice job polishing. But the manicure was not good at all. I just do a regular manicure and he put that polish on so thick an hour later it was still smudging. I had to stop at CVS on my home for nail polish remover so I could take it off and do it myself. Won't be back. read more
