Don't go here for nexgen/dip. This was truly the most painful nail experience I have ever had. The woman who did my nails seemed focused, but they still came out sloppy and left me bleeding from 3 different fingers. I originally asked for ombre nails, she said they can do it ,but she sounded hesitant so I switched to pink and white with a request to use a darker pinkish magenta, she said she could do it. She did a full hand with white first then the pink all over - dipped 3-4 times and filed before saying it wasn't going to work. Instead of redoing it, she dipped more in the pink for that hand while only using pink on the other hand. This resulted in one hand having thick, bumpy color. Staff should be advised to try just 1 finger if they are unsure before ruining a full set. Needless to say I am not happy and I will not be returning. read more

I went here for the first time this week and woke up the next day with an INFECTION. My toe is hot, swollen, red, and painful. When I called to let them know the owner told me to come in so I did. When I came in he proceeded to argue with me to say that my toe is not infected and that I am a liar. Anyone that looks at the attached photo and video will know without a doubt my toe is infected. He proceeded to poke at my toe with his uncleaned nails and would not stop when I asked. I had to physically pull my foot away from him. My toe hurts so bad I can't walk without pain. The staff is beyond rude and the place is clearly NOT sanitary. This was such a bad experience that I downloaded yelp and made an account to warn whoever is reading this. I went in for a pedicure and they didn't start me until 30 minutes after my appointment. I said I get in growns on my big toe and he said he will take care of it. Usually when I go places they will clip them and it is fine, there is some pressure but not pain, but this was incredibly painful. He made me bleed on both sides of my toe and I told him to not do that anymore because it hurts. I didn't let him touch my other toe. My toe is now seeping and I hope I do not get an infection. I haven't had this experience before and I am concerned. It would've been a decent experience overall but I wouldn't be doing back. read more

This is my second and last time coming to this place. I got the dipping powder and specifically asked that they stay thin and looking natural. All my nails are uneven because i kept having to ask her to fix nails after filing them because they were crooked. They ended up drying all bubbly, they're way too thick and she didn't even clean up my cuticles! The man who did my nails was THE BEST and my nails look so much better. No pain at all, and the perfect shape for me. Customer service here is excellent. I got a hot stone pedi and it was to die for. I also got a gel manicure and an eyebrow wax. She did a good job on everything. I will definitely be returning here frequently. I live in Miami but hate the salons that are near me as they are too over crowded. I came to Top Nails before paying attention to negative reviews. I must have gotten a bad manicurist because, I must say - it was the worst experience I've had when it comes to nail services. The station was dirty, and when voicing my concern with how the same unsterilised instruments being utilised on me after a previous client, the male manicurist just sprayed the clippers with some solution. My fingers were pulled harshly during the service, and the overall job was poorly done, especially for the price I was charged. This is no price list available at Top Nails; I overheard other clients requesting price list of service and could not get one. With that being said, I am mostly hurt by the disrespectful and unprofessional behavior of the male manicurist. Never going back to Top Nails. STAY AWAY! read more

I live locally but was in the area and did a quick search to find a good nail salon so I stopped here. I first wanted NexGen but I didn't like any of the options hey had. Plus it didn't help that the samples are done horribly so instead I asked to get gel polish. The salon itself doesn't seem very sanitary due to the clutter that's everywhere and the dust draping over almost everything. Oh, and I must also mention that my nail tech fell asleep while my hands were drying in the UV light.....literally fell asleep. I also left with polish on my skin which isn't always a pretty sight. They did a long massage for a basic pedicure and my gel nails look great. Every employee seems to do a great job and customers are leaving happy. My mom, sister, and I returned to this nail salon after our second summer vacation to Deerfield. I called the day before to make an appointment for 3 pedicures & 2 gel manicures. Upon arrival the next day, the gentleman told me he'd only put down 2 pedicures & 2 manicures. I told my mom and sister that I'd wait until getting back to Ohio. The guy rolled his eyes and said he'd get my pedicure done too but acted extremely put out. It was nice sitting in the chair and soaking for a while. When it was my turn, the lady that was in the shop did mine. She cut my cuticle back so far that it was bleeding. I gasped and she just laughed. It was quite possibly one of the worst pedicures I've ever had. I had to go back to my condo and file my toe nails because they were jagged. There was also polish all over my skin. The polish color options were mediocre at best (both regular and gel). Unfortunately, our next trip to Deerfield will include finding a different salon. Also, my mom's gel polish chipped on 2 of her fingers on Monday, 6/26. We had our services on Tuesday, 6/20...so it lasted 6 days. read more

First off let's start with the fact that their gel manicure is only $25, and it's a great job. Second which should be number one but they closed at 7:30 and I didn't know that bc I actually was planning on going to the nail place next door but they wouldn't take me at 7:20 and they closed at 8. So I went next-door and they still took me! I have slightly longer nails then what I normally have, trying out that triangle shape, and unfortunately three of them broke so it would've looked uneven but they applied 3 tips at no charge so it looked perfect! I am very hard to please when it comes to nail services, I think I do the best job myself at home, but you don't get the same pampering at home that you do when someone else does it. I was feeling very stressed and I thought maybe a pedicure would help. This salon was conveniently located and had good reviews, so I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. I was a little nervous about doing a walk in, but I was immediately taken care of walking in around 2pm. As it got closer to 3 though they got a little more busy, so maybe I was just lucky. The staff greeted me immediately and within five minutes I had picked out a color and was in the pedicure chair. The massage chairs were nice and the pedicure was overall very relaxing. The staff definitely aims to please and offered a beverage and checked with me as things progressed to make sure I was comfortable. Why only three stars? I didn't feel the pedicure was as meticulous and perfect as I would like, but again, I'm kind of a control freak when it comes to nails. Well, finding it was not so enjoyable, as I'm a stranger to these parts and either I punched the address in wrong in the GPS or the satellite doesn't understand this address....it's in the Cove Shopping Center, just on the west side of the bridge to Deerfield Beach. Monica was the woman who did my nails - she was gentle and skilled - and we had a nice conversation. I'm usually all like "this is my quiet time please!" but I found her quite interesting to talk to. As of this writing, a regular mani is $11, a gel mani is $25, pedi is $20. Regular mani/pedi together is $30. No idea how this compares to other salons in the area, but it's comparable to what I pay in San Francisco. read more

This is a hidden gem. The technician who did my hands was so polite and patient with me when I was choosing my color. My nails were shorter than they should have been for Nexgen(dip powder) but she was able to work with them and didn't get any powder glued to my fingers. She was also able to use the hand drill meticulously and she didn't get my cuticles at all and my nails are so smooth. It only took 35 minutes to complete which is a lot faster than other salons that I have been to. I highly recommend this place! read more

Coming here with my mom was a great experience. I felt so welcomed and comfortable. Joe immediately said hello and was really sweet, he offered us some wine or water. Elanta gave me a very relaxing and well needed pedicure. My mom and I chatted with Elanta and Joe the entire time. I love when you can have an interesting and enthusiastic conversation whenever I get my hair or nails done. They were both really friendly and fun. The chairs are big and comfy. I loved the decor inside, they have it painted some nice colors and the walls are adorned with colorful paintings. The location is a bit hidden, the parking lot is huge and there are some cute little shops nearby to peruse through. It's also right next to a few restaurants that you can pick up some food or drink after you are pampered. I loved it here so much, I made a manicure appointment for next weekend. read more

I just had a hot stone pedi from Joe. One word...awesome! I have had pedis all over the globe and I must say Joe gave me the best foot/calf massage with acupressure I have ever had! He also did a lovely French polish job. The salon is clean and well appointed. The instruments came fresh from the autoclave sterilizer and were unwrapped in front of me. They have free wi-fi & wine. As well as fluffy, warm towels to dry my toesies. Joe's wife Vicki is as sweet as he is. The other gentleman who worked there was just as kind. This place rocks! Even though I am only in this area once every couple of months this will now be a must do on my list. BTW they offer 3 kinds of spa pedis....regular, deluxe and hot stone.
