I like Likkle More Jerk! What a pleasant surprise to find this spot in the DeKalb Brooklyn Mall. The winner was the Chicken patty! You can even get Oxtail gravy added but I passed. We ordered the Oxtail with rice and peas. The Oxtail was a good portion and Jamaican approved. Two beef patties with coco bread and two chicken patties. On another occasion we had the veggie patty. Quick customer service and easy kiosk system. Glad to see this business is still here! read more

Nice to see this stand still around. They've been at Dekalb Market Hall since the beginning. I ordered the vegetarian curry in a roti. The serving size was substantial for the price. The curry had a good spice to it. The roti was good. Grabbed a veggie patty with coco bread to go. It wasn't bad. The patty crust was a bit dry but the filling was good. Probably could do without the coco bread. read more

Likkle More Jerk has some hits and some misses for me. I love their corn soup, it's super flavorful and comforting, I just wish it had a little more vegetables in it to balance it out. I also ordered the oxtails with rice & peas, and unfortunately that didn't do it for me. The texture was off. Not sure if it was overcooked but it was chewy which was disappointing because I was really looking forward to it. Love the kiosk ordering. Service is always prompt. It's inside of the food court so there's typically no near by seating unless you walk around a bit but I always get my food to go. Overall, not a bad experience, just a mixed one. I'd still come back and try other things on the menu because the flavors are definitely there. read more

Oooweeee this food was good. Ordered at the kiosk and waited maybe 10 (?) minutes. Fast service and generous portions, nice big sized shrimps. Curry was flavorful and spicy but not crazy spicy to where you can't taste anything else. read more

I had the jerk chicken bowl and it was all right. It was definitely lacking seasoning and jerk sauce. You'd probably have to ask me again at another location. I was at the Barclays Center, so mine felt a bit rushed, and overall it came off pretty dry. The jerk chicken itself was fine, but at $18 or $19, I wouldn't pay for it again. That said, the service was good. The staff was nice, and everything came out pretty fast. read more

We stayed right near Dekalb Market so we decided to stop in after reading all the great reviews . There's so many options, however, when I find Caribbean food I must try it no hesitation. We ordered beef panties and curry chicken . The curry and jerk come in a shareable size and a little tings size. Being that my wife and I were sharing we got the bigger one with rice and peas. The beef panties were delicious. Warm flaky crust filled with a great portion of beef filling and well seasoned. Be careful as the contents are HOT! The curry chicken was rice was spot on . The rice was moist and the chicken was well seasoned and tender! We came back next day to try the jerk with the jerk sauce and were just as pleased as day 1. The sauce is the icing on the cake . Only thing I did not like was the coleslaw! Very dry and tangy (reason for -1 Star). We came here about 2-3 times in our stay for the patties. Would come back when in Brooklyn read more

I only got a side order of jerk chicken and a curry chicken patty-- as I had other stalls to check out in one visit. I thought the patty could have had more chicken inside, as it almost has a mush like consistency. The flavors overall was decent. The jerk chicken was cooked perfectly but had more spice than I was expecting! I enjoyed it, but definitely would have preferred mild. The service was helpful and i would return to try some other menu options. read more

We order a two patties beef and veggie Service: young lady did not even greet us as you stared dead in her eyes but hey she was laughing it with her co workers. So because she was super busy to take our order for two patties we used the kiosk Beef patty was tough and not seasoned well. Patties taste they came str8 out the freezer into the oven no thawing at all. Veggie patty needs to takin off the menu and be introduce. Too soupy for a veggie patty filling. I do understand it's in food hall but I have tried many patties and this was the worst patty I ever taste because of the toughness and not flaky it's mall shop but I see why they are not selling as much read more

Went to Likkle More Jerk and ordered the oxtail on coco bread. The oxtail was flavorful, tender, and genuinely delicious. The food came out quickly, which was a plus. Service is kiosk-based, so there's not much personal interaction. Since it's located in a very busy food hall, seating is scarce. It's best to order something you can comfortably eat on the go--or be prepared to stand while you eat. read more

The food here never disappoints I came to try the oxtail cocoa bun and also got a jerk chicken dinner as well. The oxtail cocoa buns were good the pickled onions definitely was a a nice addition to the buns definitely added flavor and the portions were very generous I'd say they were a 6.5/ 10 nothing crazy. The jerk chicken dinner was the star of the Show for me. The chicken was tender and full of flavor very juicy nice amount of Jerm it wasn't too spicy and the slaw was so fresh and not watery. The rice had a nice taste of coconut milk and seasoning very well made 9.5/10. Service here is always pleasant. Always feel fulfilled coming here. read more

Yes! Yes! Yes! These coco bread oxtail buns are heavenly! I mean, it's truly some of the best food I've ever had. It was sooooooooo good!! Like wow! lol. I had it cold and it still was bussin! lol. Me and my boyfriend came here. This is one of his favorite places to eat, and he brought me here to grab something quick to eat while we shopped. I just followed his order and got the same thing he did, and man! I'm happy i did that cuz the way these damn buns tasted!! So good! The service was great too. The counter lady was very nice and helpful. She was directing people to the kiosks to order, and was available for any questions people may have had. All in all, great customer service. It's located right next to the mission escape games in the back in case you're looking. I will definitely return. The oxtail buns were almost a hefty $20, but we all know oxtail ain't cheap, and they loaded the buns with the stewed oxtail. (So many pimento seeds lol). But all in all, deliciousness!! My parents taught me to never waste food, something I internalized so much that when I'm home and I have just a couple of bites left of food, I will either eat the rest and be uncomfortably full or save that little bit for a snack later. And I always eat that snack. And yet I found myself tossing the rest of my jerk chicken bowl from here out after deciding on it one late evening in the area and Likkle More Jerk was one of the last stands open. I believe I was one of their last customers for the evening, so it's possible I had food that had just been sitting out, but the food did not hit. The chicken was okay, but the rice and peas that went alongside it was truly lacking in flavor and had a hard texture. My hungry friend and I even shared this plate and did not bother finishing it. I'm adding on another star considering it was the end of the night and they came through being the only place open to feed us that evening. read more

Likkle More Jerk is located inside the Dekalb Market. I have tried their Curry Goat ($16) , Jerk Pork ($16) and Jerk Chicken ($13). My favorite is the Jerk Chicken but the other two are close. The meal comes with rice and peas or white rice. Service was also fast, you only have to wait around 15 minutes when you order. Overall great food, can't wait to come back to try other items on their menu. read more

never have i experienced this. I knew something was off with this curry ALL BONE roti. ONE, it was not cooked, would you like if someone gave you food poisoning clearly they have the same cooks because mi seen multiple reviews of undercooked meat. TWO it tasted like some weird cleaning solution when you chew in it. it was completely flavorless, do better but sending people to the hospital should not be apart of your mission statement, mi rather go on to trin citi for some authentic roti. yuh musta tink mi a FOOL. there was mainly BONEEEEE. read more

Likkle More Jerk - Curry Just Bone Barely Cooked Chicken Roti - Caribbean Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

I'm honestly so disappointed. I paid $21.13 for what turned out to be four shrimp on top of rice and peas. Before ordering, I specifically asked how many skewers came with the dish, and I was told four. At no point did they mention there was only one shrimp per skewer. When I opened my container, I couldn't believe it -- four lonely shrimp, each stuck on its own skewer, over a pile of rice. This was not only misleading but felt like a total rip-off for the price. I expected a full, satisfying shrimp meal, not four pieces of shrimp for over twenty bucks. I would not recommend or return. read more

I seen this place when I went to the mall before but never tried it until a couple days ago and I should've went sooner. The guy at the front desk was actually pleasant compared to a lot of service you get in Brooklyn. The store wasn't anything special to look at but it's good for a small shop in a mall's food court. The food itself was actually good as well. I would give it an 8/10 as I've had better jerk chicken but theirs is good enough where I would definitely come back for more. It was a good portion size and good price. Would definitely recommend trying this place out if you ever stop by the mall. read more

My nephew wanted some Caribbean food so I decided to give them a try too. I've have their beef patties before and they are good. But the food was decent, didn't disappoint. They do give you boney pieces, not a fan of that. You order from a touch screen so can't speak to the service because you don't interact with the workers much. & the vibes in the entire market is cool esp on a Friday night. read more

I purchased food from your establishment on Monday, June 23rd, and was extremely disappointed when I got home. The plate was filled with tough, mostly bone-filled meat, completely drenched in jerk sauce. When I called the restaurant to express my concerns, I was met with disrespect rather than understanding. Experiences like this are disheartening and reflect poorly on customer service. It's unfortunate when businesses, especially those in our community, fail to value their customers. Don't eat here! They will give you jerk bone instead of jerk pork. Spend your money elsewhere. read more

The Dekalb food hall can be pretty overwhelming with all the options, but I'm really glad I tried this vendor. I took my cousin here and we both got the same thing. You can order and pay via kiosk or with the cashier. Customer service was really nice as well. I came back later to ask for more napkins and they were busy so I waited on the side (not long at all). An employee noticed I was waiting and made sure I got my napkins promptly after, which I appreciated. We got the jerk chicken with rice and peas, cabbage slaw on the side, and paid extra for plantains for $20 each. The portion of chicken was nice. Not dry and went great with the spicy jerk sauce (I got mine on the side so I could dip). Rice was just a little dry but nothing offensive, I just thought it'd be more fluffy. Slaw wasn't super wet, it was a nice fresh side. Side of plantains was a good portion and really delicious. I love plantains so this was a must. for $5-6ish, I'd say it was worth getting. We didn't finish our portions since it was a good size so we saved our leftovers. Excited to come back again and try the oxtail and some other items! read more

Now, I love sandwiches with coleslaw, so when I got my jerk chicken sandwich, I was pretty happy. Well, that is until I took the first bite and realized the bread to meat was way off. I feel like they gave me a loaf of bread for a few slices of chicken breast. Now I'm going to lie, that bread was the bomb. Best bread I've ever tasted. There was just not enough chicken to make it a sandwich. All of the flavors gave my mouth such joy that I wanted to do a holy dance. If I had paid for this half a meat sandwich, I would have been mad, but my nephew took me out, so I just let it rock. read more

I found this Jamaican spot on DeKalb below Target in the food court. I love Jamaican food! I ordered jerk pork with rice and peas, which came with coleslaw. It was SLAMMING!! It was spicy and so flavorful. It reminded me of a restaurant I went to when I was in Jamaica. I also ordered a beef patty. It tasted so fresh, wasn't too spicy, and was flakey. It reminded me of the first time I had a real beef patty in Jamaica. The lady who took my order was nice, and the music gave me island vibes. They have goat and oxtail on the menu. Thing is in the fridge. I figured it would be solid and was not disappointed. (I hoped it would blow my mind, but hey, solid is solid.) I loathe ordering from screens, but I get the trend. The curry chicken is rich and tasty. The rice is perfectly cooked. It's good on its own but tastes better with the curry. The slaw is bright and crisp. The serving was big enough for two meals, honestly. There's seriously so much chicken in here. I didn't realize until I was mostly through the meal that theees also potato. If you have great lighting, it's even a 'grammable meal, but the lighting in my hotel room is far from great. Herbs and spices galore, pops of color with carrot and green onion, so much to love. My only real disappointment was forgetting my pineapple soda. They don't put it in the bag for you. read more

This establishment is located in lower level of City Point building. They are about 20 food and beverage vendors, with Likkle More Jerk being one of them. I had a curry goat dinner and a jerk salmon dinner. Both dishes were well prepared and tasty. The only thing I would say is that they could trim a little more fat off the goat. Service was as good as you gonna get for over the counter service. The ambiance is like an open air market but inside. read more

The flavors here are pretty close to the Caribbean. I had ordered the jerk pork before class and I have to admit it didn't disappoint. The seasoning really hit it close to home BUT to much for me. Located inside Dekalb Market food hall; this stall is hidden near the side corner and glad I selected this food stall. Ordered the Jerk Chicken with rice and a side of coco bread. Waited about 15 minutes for my order- (walked around Trader Joe's to do some grocery shopping), and got my order to-go. I really enjoyed the well seasoned Jerk Chicken- the meat was so tender; perfect accompaniment to the rice. Cole-saw didn't have much taste; a bit bland. Coco bread tasted okay; a bit dry though. There was no line when we got there on a Sunday and we were able to receive our order in 5 minutes. We got the likkle jerk chicken, which comes with rice and peas and a small coleslaw. There were 3 pretty large pieces of chicken, and the meat itself was tender and flavoured well. The rice was solid as well, but had no peas in it.
