imagine paying $16 to only get 3 pieces of curry chicken. It came up to $16 because i got a small macaroni salad. But 3 pieces.... 3 PIECES.

Imagine paying $16 to get three pieces of chicken... 3 SMALL A** PIECES OF CHICKEN. It came up to $16 because i also got a small macaroni salad. Imagine being hungry all day, to get food come home open up your plate and see this. You can only imagine how upset I am. Whole appetite just gone.

The service was okay. The atmosphere was regular for a Brooklyn take out spot. The whiting fish and shredded cabbage were enjoyable, but the rice was a bit dry where it wasn't covered by the fish gravy. Overall, it seems like there were some highlights and some areas for improvement in the dish.

I was in this neighborhood running some errands and was search of some good Cow foot a Soup since it was like 20° yesterday.. you would think that a Jamaican restaurant Could deliver that well no it was a potato soup..wait Pon minute where Mi cow foot mon !? Other food but from the looks of it looks like they're jerk chicken is dry.. If I want to potato soup I would have ordered it..please pass up this place place is a rip off if you don't have the right products to make the soup or the dish don't advertise it.

Despite living a short distance from Fisherman's cove, I travel to get to this place. The fact is, not all jerk chicken dinners are created equal. The chicken is grilled to perfection and the rice is FLUFFY. Oh man, it's so good. Real Caribbean Pot makes some of the best food in the neighborhood, and the prices are great too.

"Deep in Brooklyn, hides the Caribbean"…read more Came here on sleepy Tuesday. Not many people in the restaurant but lots of take out going on. The friendly one woman staff helped seat us, recommend the dishes, made the drinks, prepped and served the food. It was all tasty. What's to cheer - Nice not to too sweet homemade rum punch - Solid, flavorful oxtail. Very island spiced and cooked well - Goat was also really strong - Reasonable prices - service with personality What's to jeer - they were out of the jerk chicken unfortunately which I really wanted to try - place is pretty low key and not swimming with ambience

Service was excellent, we felt like we were visiting an old friend who happens to have a great restaurant. The food was delicious, we had the home made sorrel perfectly sweetened and the right amount of ginger. The oxtail with rice and peas with cabbage was on point. The meat was perfectly tender and the gravy was savory, the rice and peas was moist and delicious, the cabbage had a nice flavor and texture and the side of fry plantains were perfect, the right level of soft and sweet. Do yourself a favor and visit Islands. Cool .

Upon arrival the restaurant is very clean, and the service was fast. There is a dine in area as well. The woman who took my order was very patient , and personable. I ordered a brown stew fish, cabbage and 3 small soups. Everything came out to about $49. The chicken soup was very good . The cabbage was also very good. The fish on the other hand was very salty and not worth the $20 charge (fish with no sides). I get it the area etc etc but for the price the food should be top notch. The other establishments are much better. Would I return.....I don't think so .

Escovitch fish meal which came with plantains, rice and peas, and spinach. Everything was still warm and tasty when I arrived home. The order was packaged nicely. Definitely, nice portions for the prices. Place is clean. Staff is friendly, informative, and service was amazing. It takes about 10 minutes for the fish since they make it to order. I will soon be back and may have them do some catering orders for me( usually order from the location on flatbush). Pop in if you ever get in the area and want some hot warming food.

This is an intimate and cozy space, great to sit and talk without the noise of a loud space. Music was played, but not obnoxious and there is a tv. For the table, we ordered the oxtail stew, fried chicken, yams, collard greens, and mac & cheese. I also had a Peach Bellini for a little bubbly. Everything was exactly as I remembered -perfectly cooked and well seasoned, large portions with more than enough to take home. The chef stopped by our table which was a nice touch. Service overall was great. They also make great use of such a small space. It is indeed well worth the visit. Side note, we ordered the same exact items off the menu as we did a year ago...only one thing was missing which was the biscuits with the flavored butter jam. We were told the biscuits were replaced with cornbread. I didn't order the cornbread this time around but would like to see the biscuits return at some point.
