Haven't been here in years! Didn't realize they renovated. Waited for at least 30 minutes on a Sunday later in the afternoon. They do seem to be low of staff. Food was alright. Portions were huge. Pricing is decent, most dishes were around the $10-$20 range. They have a wide variety of dishes so I would try other items on their menu but might do take out instead of the wait.

Back again!!! Love the cheap eats and fast service here! Such a hidden gem of Bensonhurst Brooklyn! Have been in this area a lot lately so it's been a weekly visit!!!

Solid Hong Kong Style cafe. Menu is huge and can be difficult to navigate. Pictures are helpful but I wish they also had numbers. I had the shark fin soup, red bean ice and split the jumbo triple baked rice with my family. The fake shark fin in the soup could have been more tender. The ingredients reminded me more of sweet and sour soup but the taste was good. Red bean ice hit the spot, it was everything I was looking for. Some beans were mushy and some kept their shape. Texturally it was on point. The triple baked rice had chicken curry, seafood rice and tomato based pork rice. All was creamy and delish. A little much and had to take over half of it to go. I tried the fries my brother had and it was double fried and extra crispy. A+. Would definitely visit Like Cafe again.

The service was good. The food delicious Favorite was the vegetable stir fry rice and beef was so soft. Broccoli too was not too crunchy. Just right.

came again and this place will always slap. Good pricing and always fast. Had the king set E and came out within minutes. Came here on a sunday at 1055 and no lines and overall wasnt crowded and the tables fit my family of four. Place is pretty clean. The bathroom floors are quite slippery so watch out. My kids love the rice rolls and the sauce is on point.

    Taiwanese pork chop rice

I came here for dinner on a Sunday night with a group of 4 people since we were going to see the Christmas lights in Dyker Heights nearby. I ordered the Taiwanese pork chop rice. My friends ordered the tomato baked pork chop rice, the beef ramen combo, and the beef chow fun noodles. The Taiwanese pork chop was not really Taiwanese pork chop, it was more like Japanese pork katsu with ground pork, pickled mustard greens, and white rice. I was really craving the Taiwanese style pan fried pork chop though. The pork was still was a bit undercooked inside so I didn't eat some of it. The best deal was the breakfast combos - ramen, sandwich, and a drink. Service was fast and friendly. Overall, the food was okay and cheap but probably would not order pork here.

If you like big portions, quick service, and food that gets straight to the point--this is your spot. Ambiance took the day off, but your stomach will be very happy.

I'm only giving this place, three stars but I still feel like I wanna go by back and try something else. Maybe it will be better. The menu is huge. A little something for everyone. Tried the Hong Kong Street Combo plate, which had fish balls, tripe on a stick, a lot of cheong fun (rice noodle) chunks, stuffed pepper, and stuffed eggplant. I would pass on this. Didn't like any of these items. Stuffing for bell pepper/ eggplant was bland. I assume it was fish but it had no taste. Tripe: most were pieces I couldn't identify. No honeycomb tripe pieces. Cheong fun: a bit too sticky for my taste. Salted Egg yolk prawn fried rice. The shrimp was delicious with a strong yolk flavored breading. The fried rice though was too plain and bland. Nothing in the rice but salted egg yolk. Could have used some peas, onions and stuff like a regular fried rice has. It does come with a few stalks of broccoli on the side. Portions are large and prices are reasonable. They have breakfast combo for only $7.25. Includes 2 food items plus a milk tea. You can order it up until 4pm. Decor: brightly colored with lots of tables. Service was efficient and friendly. I'll probably come back again because of the huge Hong Kong style food menu. I wanna try something else.

I like the HK street combo, a little bit of everything. Rice roll were too soft and chewy though. I also like their drinks. HK tea milk was delicious. The red bean drink is good too. We also ordered the bolo bun with butter. It is decent. I enjoyed the HK tea atmosphere. A good place for afternoon tea.

Quick to seat on a weekday, always bustling with customers. Warm ambiance with LED hk food theme. The portions are great for the price, authentic hk inspired food. Variety of options! Always have to order the hk styled French toast

Love their food! My favorite will always be their sizzling curry beef brisket over rice roll which I always get (only dine in, no take out). We also recently tried their yangzhou fried rice, singapore mei fun & sweet and sour porkchops. All were delicious! Friendly waiters and the foods come out fast! Love the new decor too!

The staff was friendly but unfortunately it was understaffed, hot and food was not good. AC was not cold, they did not give water until asked. The food had flavor. Only the red bean ice cream was good.

I'm all in for Hong Kong-style food, and this place is fantastic! It's my second visit, and I've never had a bad dish here. Definitely try the HK street food platter--it's a must! Everything on the menu is worth sampling. The service is quick, and the atmosphere is relaxed. It can get busy on weekends, so be prepared for a wait, but great food is always worth it. Happy eating!

The meal includes geoduck sashimi, jellyfish & mixed appetizer, soup, steamed fish, crab & lobster with sticky rice, abalone, steamed shrimp, noodles, and veggies. Some dishes were bigger than others. Both times I came they didn't have abalone so we substitute the dish for garlic scallop (which I prefer). The menu also says it comes with house special dessert but we never gotten any. For any seafood, it's market price plus they add a 30% processing fee, which is strange to me. For a Chinese restaurant which usually does not charge tax if you pay with cash, they charge tax here whether you pay by card or cash. The restaurant is pretty big and spacious. They have pretty large tables, suitable for parties and celebrations. There's a private space upstairs with 3 large tables for parties. The restaurant is pretty slow in the afternoon.
