There were some small holes that Mike told me about ahead of time, but they were small enough to be covered by standard wall plates. On the day of the install, Starlight Tech was here on time, worked together to make sure everything was done in a clean and neat manner, and made sure everything was fully up and running before leaving. They even came back on a second occasion because I was still waiting to order a final security camera. They helped me install an entire Ubiquiti ecosystem, which included 5 POE Cameras, 1 POE Doorbell, 2 POE Doorbell Chimes, and 4 POE Access Points. It doesn't end there. They even helped me relocate my ethernet ports and power outlets to more convenient locations that are more hidden so I don't end up with dangling wires. It still doesn't end there. They completely rack-mounted everything and made everything beautiful. The Ubiquiti ecosystem is more expensive, but I didn't mind the investment, especially with two industry experts leading the way. He walked me through the entire security system and tested with me to make sure I was comfortable before leaving. He went through all the paperwork with me and took care of everything. A year later, we decided not to continue with the company because we were switching to a new no cost system and this didn't make sense anymore for us. I submitted a cancellation form through their website and 3 days later, they closed down my account with no issues. I didn't have anyone call me to haggle with me or make a big deal about not letting you leave. It was frustration-free. This is incredibly important to me because if they had fought me every step of the way on leaving, I would not feel like a valued customer and definitely would have never came back or referred them to friends. Because they understood where I was coming from and made it quick and easy, I would definitely return to them in the future if I needed their services or refer them to friends and family who needed similar services. I was skeptical when I saw the previous reviews on here but I would like to assume that they changed the way they do business since 2016 and are much more customer orientated now.
