We called Jorge to get a quote and information on updating our old security system. Not only did he actually show up but he answered all our questions and gave us options to consider. We went with a whole new system and are very happy with it. They came when they said and did a great job installing all the cameras. We would definitely recommend RoboCam. read more

Robo Cam - Very sharp picture. - Security Systems Near Me

George acted fast and did the job really quickly. The price is fair and I recommend him to anyone who needs to install a camera system.

First off Jorge was amazing. Just to provide a back story of my situation, I had some IP cameras installed back in 2017 the company I used went out of business. My cameras became offline several times so I was forced to go with another monitoring company AVS. I called them to schedule a service call to get my cameras back online. They wanted to sell my a new DVR / NVR for $800. Fast forward, I called Jorge to get a second quote and opinion. He goes over a steps via phone and what do you know my cameras are back up and running now. He saved me $800. I know who I'm calling when I need cameras. If you're looking for honest service please reach out to ROBO CAM! Thank you Jorge. read more

This company services OC and Los Angeles. I am so glad I found them. I have a very extensive and sophisticated security system and wanted to add an additional camera. They did not do the original work and this was a smaller job. Most contractors are too busy, and the owner, Jorge Alvarez is very busy. But he doesn't make you feel that way. Other contractors wanted a deposit to come out to quote me (to be applied later to the work) or just didn't want to do such a small job. Jorge quoted me on the phone and sent me a written estimate a few hours later. They showed up right on time. They did this work so incredibly efficiently. They had way more tools than others I had used, so it made the job worry free and quick. Very tidy and when I asked them to wrap some connectors they made sure to get me and show me they did it before tucking the wires away.. Jorge is very proud of the fact that he has multiple contractor licenses. He showed me his card and his insurance cards. I think he did this because he is so proud to have earned it and he continually gets licenses. When I asked if he could do some electrical work he said "I don't have an electrician's license, but my friend does". So nice to see people operating within the law and licenses for a change. Usually licensed, bonded contractors cost a lot more. These guys were extremely reasonable and probably the same price as unlicensed guys. What a deal to have total peace of mind when using these guys. They also do audio, video and networking so I will be using them again soon. Oh, and my small job turned into a large payout because my new next-door neighbor asked him to come over for a huge job after seeing his work. This company is doing it right and wish there were more contractors like this read more

Got a quote from Jorge back in July and held off on purchasing when since I wasn't sure I wanted to install these type of cameras or go with ring or another internet product. Flash forward to January 2018 and our mail is stolen at night. This made my decision for me and I got ahold of Jorge and he worked with me on price and cameras and came up with a great design and set up. I appreciate his attention to detail, creative approach to camera positions, and hard work. I am very pleased with the work and his knowledge of the products that will guide you in the right direction. He even came back and helped set up my internet because he finished my job ion the weekend. Great experience and recommend all who are looking for security cameras installed professionally give him a call. read more

Have been researching for a while on a home security system. Having been frustrated by a couple other home security installers, by not showing up to perform the work for the quoted job, or not showing up for the estimate appointments, I found Jorge with Robo Cam online. I read his reviews and scheduled an appointment for an estimate. I was immediately pleased after meeting Jorge and felt very comfortable with his price, and equipment to be installed and even more so with his personality and friendly attitude. Now that the job is completed that includes a 5 camera system I couldn't be more pleased. I feel very comfortable recommending Jorge and Robo Cam to anyone considering a home security system. read more

Let me tell you how very prompt, attentive, hard working, thorough and quick Jorge and his crew completed upgrading my CCTV system. I went thru Yelp to get quotes and out of four RSVP's, Jorge is the only person who showed up at my home. That really shows you the type of person he is. He also responded to my Yelp text request ASAP. He understands business and that potential customers want responses ASAP. No job is too small for Jorge. He does both commercial and residential. He was also accomodated my specific requests. His estimates are very competitive as well. I will refer him to all my friends and family. Please consider him for your bids. I'm extremely satisfied with his work. Happy and future repeat client, Mark read more

I recently purchased a home and have been wanting to install a camera system. Being from up north I wasn't sure who to turn too. Yelp helped me find Jorge, and I am glad I did. I have been in construction for 30 years, the last 20 as a supervisor so I have dealt with a lot of sub contractors. Jorge was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and very fair as well as doing a great job cleaning up after his work which showed me a lot about his character. I recommend Jorge and Robocam for anyone who has security needs and want them done right! read more

Jorge from Robocam installed 11 cameras, a DVD-R, and a security box for the recorder for me. I got three different quotes from different companies and Jorge's price was the best. But more importantly, the service I got from Jorge was excellent! When I called him, he really took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. He evaluated my needs and made suggestions that benefited me. I never felt he was trying to push the sale. Installation took an entire day and then some. Some issues came up afterwards, but I called him and he came and fixed them. I highly recommend him for his customer service alone. read more

Robocam is a great security camera company. Jorge is very professional and is very knowledgable. He has installed camera systems at our McDonalds restaurants. Whenever we have an issue Jorge is there to help us out. In the past it has been very hard for us to find reliable camera companies but we were referred to Robocam by another McDonalds owner. We have had a business relationship for more then 5 years now and Jorge has proven himself to be the best in the business. Please use Robocam. read more

Robocam was referred to me by the supplier of my previously installed video cameras, I was not pleased with the work of the previous installer. Once contacted Jorge arrived in a timely manner and assessed my situation. In addition to an unsatisfactory installation Jorge found my cameras were defective. He contacted the camera supplier and advised them of the problem, he returned on a Sunday afternoon and removed the defective cameras. Jorge contacted me two later with warranty covered cameras and professionally reinstalled them. He made sure the cameras were installed to my satisfaction and pointed at my identified target areas. He cleaned up after the installation something the previous installer failed to do. I highly recommend Jorge and will be using Robocam again in the near future to install additional cameras! read more

Responds very quick, courteous, I really appreciate that so much when most did not return my call just to get an estimate. Thanks again

A ***** Yelp find chosen because of the previous excellent reviews!!! Punctual, knowledgeable, reasonable AND honest! Lorex phone support told us our problem could be our DVR (which is out of warranty). Jorge looked at our system and told us he thought it was just a power supply problem. And it was which was a huge (financial) relief! He showed us the difference between the wiring, cables, connectors, etc. he uses compared to the ones included in the boxed systems from Costco and Sam's Club - no comparison!! The power supply he replaced the bad one with was twice the size! We will definitely have him build our next system! read more

Jorge got us a quote in no time, gave us a great price, got our system installed without any hiccoughs, and happily provided back-end service when we had follow-up questions. Our company has used Jorge for years. They have great service at a good value. Their equipment is state of the art. Last year my car was broken in to at night and the police had an easy time catching the youngster due to the outstanding quality of the night vision camera that we use to monitor our parking lot. the Officers recognized him and apprehended him within a week. We have their equipment in all of our locations (15 Mcdonalds). i can call Jorge at anytime of day or night for any assistance and kow that he will help me. read more

Jorge and his team did a great job for me. I've worked with a lot of contractors, and Jorge is one of the really good ones. He's a good person, with integrity and diligence to do the job right. He and the guys went over and above to make sure the job was done thoroughly and correctly. For me, he installed a security system - but I expect to bring him back to help with some general contracting work that I have going. I also got good price on the job, which was not an easy one. No hesitation, I recommend Robocam for security system installations and for other contracting needs. read more

I initially hired a company to install 5 cameras on my 8 camera system after we had a burglary in my neighborhood. The company did a fine job however failed to respond to my repeated telephone calls or email requests to add the 3 final cameras to my system. Assuming they didn't want the work, I found Jorge on Yelp and sent him an inquiry. He responded within a few minutes and we set up an appointment for the following day. A few days later, Jorge notified me that he had matched all my existing cameras and was ready to do the installation. He and his partner worked the entire day hooking up the three cameras to my system and left just before dark. I noticed one of the cameras was not performing to my expectations at night so I called Jorge to ask him about it. He came back to my house the following day at 7:30 at night so he could investigate the problem. Within about 30 minutes, he determined that the camera was picking up an infrared reflection from a pillar a few feet away and decided to move the camera to a better location. He worked for about 2 hours in the dark to move the camera to a better location. Once he completed the job, the camera works perfectly. Jorge told me his desire was to make it right with his customers on all of his jobs. As far as I'm concerned.. Jorge did a great job for me and I'm perfectly satisfied with his work. I have since recommended Jorge to two of our friends who are interested in putting in a security camera system. Thanks Jorge for a job well done! read more

George was super helpful, came late in the day when I was available and quoted it out for us, ended up having to come back when I wanted to change the set up to make sure it was ok before the install. During the install he ended up having to drive to pick up a part that we needed unexpectedly for our system set up for our Google wifi and made sure to stay till the job was done. Would strongly suggest using them if they service your area read more

I called RoboCam and left a message. George called me back that same day and scheduled me in for an appointment. He arrived on time, was professional and informative on the best location for the system. I explained to him I wanted a system at my home and a relative's as well. He worked with my schedule and completed the first install last week. He gave me a great price and will be installing the same system next week at my Mom's house. The owner George is great to work with and gets the job done. In closing I must say. I had called two other companies before calling RoboCam. One never called back. The other one came out for an estimate and was quite arrogant. I highly recommend RoboCam. read more
