I called a few installers in the area before finally went with David. He showed up few days later for a quick pre-install walkthrough to have better understanding of the layouts and shared a few tips on the where the cameras should be installed to have the best coverages. On install day David and his crew showed up on time and completed the install in a few hours. He also helped me set up the recorder before he left and followed up a few days later to see if everything is working. I highly recommend David @ CCTVMicro for your next security camera install. read more

CCTV Micro came and assessed our home and worked through issues we had with running additional cable to add cameras. David suggested POE extenders to avoid running extra cable that would be more than likely exposed on the exterior. He solved issues relating to IP conflicts and was quick to fix some of the cameras that did not work due to these conflicts in my Lorex system. I appreciate David's willingness to come out and install our cameras and troubleshoot the IP conflict issues. read more

thank you David at CCTVmicro I've been with him since 2017 on my 2nd house full camera system and very much happy they go above & beyond clean work & very professional at a great price.thanks again CCTVmicro team read more

Their customer service is horrible. You'd better pray that nothing goes wrong with your cameras, otherwise, you'd have to wait for 2 and half months, yet still leave the issue unresolved due to lack of service. David and his crew installed 6 cameras for us. So far, we've encountered camera with mal function over 2 months ago yet not replaced, other camera functions that need their customer service. We've been rather frustrated and wish we could have found someone else who will provide good customer service. If we have a chance to do this all over again, we would keep 20% final payment, that seems the only way to get him back.....quickly. read more

Feb 13, 2022 6 p.m. UPDATE: I have responded to David's private messages, but he apparently wants to continue to discuss this both publicly and privately. OK with me. I began by giving CCCTVMicro 2 stars, but these discussions with David reminded me that he not only failed to respond to my technical questions, but he also failed to show up to multiple appointments after the installation to sand and repaint a couple of minor patches required for holes in the wall to pull cable into the attic, before finally ghosting us entirely. Painting these patches is not the end of the world and may not have warranted a negative rating on Yelp, but I decided that 1 STAR was appropriate for the entire pattern comprised of: Failing to show up to confirmed appointments; Failing to respond or follow up on multiple texts, calls, and detailed voicemails; Failing to polish up the details after being paid in full; Increasingly agitated, doubtful, and antagonistic private response to my Yelp reviews. I would also like to point out that in David's first response to my review, he invited me to call him at the phone number showing on the text messages (909-205-7522), but after I posted those pictures he edited his response with 2 different phone numbers: I have included 2 more photos of the outgoing call log showing that I called three numbers that he provided us at the time, including the toll-free number he just provided. When I posted 2 STARS, my intention was to recommend that you shop carefully and make sure you get all of your services before you pay David's final installment, but now I recommend that you pass this business by and keep researching anyone else. David seems to believe that my credibility depends on my providing him with contact information. I leave it up to you to determine whether my review, with screenshots, is credible and whether you want to take the chance. Caveat emptor. Feb 13, 2022 2 p.m. David, In response to my previous review you asked me to call you. The attached screenshots show my previous attempts to call and text you, with a picture of my problem at the time - I have since corrected it by climbing into the attic and resetting the processor/recorder. You can see that the texts were acknowledged, dismissed, and never returned. You can also see that the phone calls were all outgoing, with no return calls between. Seriously unprofessional. Thanks. read more

I was recommended CCTV Micro for security camera installation from the Nextdoor Neighborhood app. and I am so happy I found this outstanding company. From the moment I spoke with David at CCTV, I knew he was experienced and an expert in security camera installations. I had 4 outdoor security cameras installed/programmed along with a DVR system. David and his technician, Javier, both arrived promptly to our scheduled appt. They were very respectful of our home and went over the details prior to the install. David and Javier went above & beyond to ensure my husband and I were completely satisfied with the installation. If you are looking for a professional, honest, reliable and quality company to install your security camera system, choose CCTV Micro. You won't be disappointed! David came out to our home and installed our security system. He was professional, prompt, and thorough. I told him a few of my concerns and he made sure to implement what was necessary to accommodate that! I appreciated the attentiveness to what was needed! The system works amazing and withstood a recent heavy snow storm. It allowed me to keep an eye on what was happening around our home during this time! David reached out several times, after the install, to make sure we had a handle on how to use all the features of the system. This is above and beyond service! Highly recommend! read more

CCTVMicro arrived on time for a walk through at our home. I was presented with suggestions for camera placement to cover all areas around my home. The quote was very fairly priced (I got two quotes for other providers) and David was a very genuine business owner. I didn't feel pressured into purchasing a system/installation; I felt competent about everything he went over with me and I could tell he has many years of experience. On the day of my scheduled installation, he and his team showed up on time and knocked out the job. I am extremely happy with the work and quality of the system. I highly recommend David and have already referred him to three friends. We are all extremely happy with our surveillance systems. Thank you to David and his team at CCTVMicro. read more

We had 9 Ring (wired PoE) cameras which needed installing around our house. David and his team (Jose & John) did an incredible job of installing the cameras, as well as doing their utmost best to ensure all holes were patched, painted (color matched too!) and even fixed some cracks we had on the walls. In addition David managed to hide the cables as much as was technically possible, including what we thought was impossible to hide! Initially we went through quite a few electricians and installers to try and get a reasonable price quote. Some of the quotes were ludicrous (almost $7k to install 8 cameras without running any conduits!?) while others were very expensive ($2k) and would've required me to do around half the work myself in addition to running the cables as is without conduits. Considering that we purchased the cameras ourselves in advance, the other installer quotes ($2-7k) for labor costs (no conduits!) was just too expensive. Fortunately I found David and his company CCTVMICRO! He quoted us a very reasonable price for installation as well as running new conduits to protect and hide the cables for places where the cables could not be routed inside the walls. Our family are really thankful to David and his team for their incredibly well done job, excellent price, responsiveness to questions, professionalism and being on time. Additionally they cleaned up all of the mess from the cutting, drilling etc. as well as making sure everything that was moved was returned to their original places. I would say David's ability to hide cables is an art. It was done to that level of detail here. Thank you very much again to David, Jose & John. We will be calling on your team to help us with any future handiwork/repairs & camera related work etc. again around the house. You guys did that good a job here, all at a very reasonable price. read more

David and him team are professional and showed up on time. Cameras work great besides glare that shows on at night on a camera. Some things to consider: always after an install or before someone needs to show the features that come with the system or provide the customer with links on how to best use the features. We all know they record but can they zoom-in or alert your phone? There was a small misunderstanding on price that put us over our initial amount so definitely being clear on add one will be helpful. Although this is a 4 starts it reflects more on the customer service aspect in our personal experience. In no way does this reflect the professional work done by the team on their install. read more

My experience with CCTVmicro was great. David is the owner and responded to me in a timely manner. We communicated very well during the process in getting a free estimate, securing a date/time for the project to be done, very friendly, professional, and knew exactly the work I needed go be done. He and his team arrived on time and completed the work exactly how we discussed and even during the project, he sent me texts/photos to confirm placement of the cameras and location they were suppose to cover. I would highly recommend CCTVmicro to help you if you are in need of a security camera install company, price was really reasonable and the work was outstanding. The work/price that was agreed upon was delivered. What I had CCTVmicro do was to remove and move a camera I had currently installed and install an additional camera. read more

Great service, on time and a very good installer. Tech is knowledgeable, precise and leaves everything neat and clean. Highly recommend.

Based on the positive ratings on Yelp for this business, I hired CCTV Micro /David Grennell to replace the existing surveillance system on our commercial property. Our experience has been a fiasco. I'm sure he could do a good job on a simple installation, but I needed to install PTZ cameras on a large complex, which we found out later was beyond his abilities. First, he had to revise his original bid by more than 50 percent after starting work. After five months, the five PTZ cameras he installed still didn't work properly, because he lacked the knowledge for this type of project and he did not inspect the work done by his workers. Second, without even verifying his team's work, he claimed the job was done and asked us for final payment. When we pushed back, he came to inspect the work, realized how it had not been done and fired both of his workers. He then unloaded the job onto a friend without giving him a full picture of the unfinished work while telling us he had hired a new team. Now, his friend is re-installing these PTZ cameras after diagnosing the technical mistakes made by David's team. So far, we have paid thousands to his friend to fix these problems, and now--11 months after he started the job--the work remains ongoing. To date, one of the PTZ cameras still does not work properly. Third, David sent us a duplicate invoice for a payment even after he had already cashed one of our checks. Fourth, David's contract states there is a 2-year warranty of his product, but when two of the wireless cameras stopped working, he never responded to our calls. Since September 2018, he washed his hands of the work, and we had to hire other contractors for help. David spent very limited time to show us how to view the system. Now we have to pay his contractor friend to learn all the critical tasks such as how to change password, how to make a copy of the recording, how to adjust the sensitivity of the recording... Lastly, his team left cables scattered all over our office, and when we asked him to clean and organize them, David claimed the cables were there before. So again, we had to hire another contractor to organize the mess that his team had left behind. To be fair to David, I do want to state a case: when we had a completely unrelated printer problem on our office computer in July 2018, David suggested that we buy a network card from Fry's, and he came to our office to install this network card which solved our printer problem. We have been busy running our business and normally would not have the time to write a review. But because I used Yelp to choose David and CCTV Macro, I feel it is important to share my very bad experience of signing contract with CCTV Macro with other Yelp users. read more

I was desperately looking for a company that installs third party security camera equipment I bought from Costco, I contacted a few local companies but they won't touch my equipment unless it's there's, however I spoke with David he was extremely knowledgeable and familiar with Lorex brand. I got to admit that cctvmicro was not my first or choice of company to do my task I had.. I need to wire and mount 2 cctv... It took me a couple of tries to finally get in touch of david, but later I found out why... david just focus on his job he is doing.. I dont even know if he eat while working... I reach out to other company and also no responses but david got back to first, so I just stuck with him.. and good thing I did... His prices are reasonable and sometimes he might say he will take care of you but later forgot and then he would come with a fair price.. David showed up a half a hour early than expect time, and once he showed up, introduce himself, right to work he went and didnt stop until the job was done.. I will probably use him again to hook up more cctv cameras.. read more

don't trust any review here, this is a fraud company, they request to pay everything before the service, and they will disappear and never finish the job. we have been calling them for months, voice mail is full no one answers, however we paid thousands of dollars to them, have to seek help from the court. stay away from this company asap, or you get big trouble!! read more

I just cannot say enough good things about David, the owner, and his staff. I only wish they could service other things in my home and I could get this customer service on everything! I have to say that out of all of my experiences on Yelp this was by far the best experience I have had with a company. Let me tell you my story. I have had some issues with my CCTV system as my wiring went out. After going to about 3 different service technicians (if you want to call them that) and after several mistakes made on my house as well as the system my last hope was to go to CCTV Micro. I had a mess. I had a prior guy who talked the talk but left my house a mess with wires. To top it off he never returned to finish the job and I made a huge mistake by picking him. I went on Yelp as it was my last hope. I went to Facebook, Craigslist and everything that you could think of. I then went to Yelp and reviewed David's company and reputation. He answered my email and came to my house to fix a mess that previous installers left behind. David and his team then came over and worked their magic. My system was saved and I added additional cameras. David's work was professional, trustworthy and honest. He told me up front the problems and his solutions. His team along with him did an amazing job. As David completed the job he was responsive and he actually cares about what he does which impressed me because it is hard to find an honest person that will do the work they tell you they are going to do. Overall, David and his crew did an amazing job. I will be forevermore great full to him as he fixed the problem and I from now on will only deal with his company as he will fix your problem with your cameras. CCTV Micro has a customer for life! Thank you David! read more
