Not cheap plastic materials. The camera system worked great the entire time. The installation of the cameras and system was impeccable. Very clean and professional. They didn't leave any hanging cables and everything was neat and sleek. We recently rehired this company to upgrade our system and add 4 additional cameras for a total of 8 now. Their pricing was not the cheapest, but reasonably within other bids. The main point is their value. I knew I was getting high grade quality equipment, great installation, top customer service. Sergio installed a 6-camera system for me at my 4-plex rental property in Culver City 2 years ago. He was very nice to work with and stuck with me until the job was up and running perfectly. The only thing that went wrong was that the unit where I installed the equipment, the tenant had Apple Airport router and he was not familiar with how to get it working for remote operation. He was (at that time) only familiar with PC routers. He said that he was in training to update his techs on Apple equipment. The fact that I admire the most about him is his OUTSTANDING INTEGRITY because he not only send another tech to try and help me get remote access, but when that tech failed, he sent me a refund for the amount that I had to pay another tech (which I found on anglieslist) to come out and make that final connection, which only took the new tech about 10 to 16 minutes to do (and he wasn't cheap) Last week I tried to upgrade my system to Digital and went with a tech on craigslist (DISCOUNT SECURITY SYSTEMS, Alex Castro) who said he knew Apple Eqpipment, but he completed the job, got paid in full and took off; only for me to find out when I got home that there was no remote access. One week later, and a zillion phone calls (and texts) and he NEVER PICKS UP THE PHONE or responds to my texts. I say this only to say to you how important it is to have someone who FOLLOWS-UP AFTER THE JOB IS DONE. Sergio did this and never complained. His price was very competitive and maybe even today he has been trained in Apple Equipment, but you can be sure his INTEGRITY IS IMPECCABLE and he did a very neat job. The only reason that I did not review him earlier is because I didn't want to give him a neutral or bad review and was undecided if it was really a good experience due to having to get a third party to finish the job. Not until I got ripped off last week did I really appreciate how honest Sergio really was to even pay me for my out-of-pocket expense when he couldn't make that last connection. Approximately six weeks ago Sergio and his crew installed a 23 camera system for our home in Whittier. Sergio was very professional and all the work was installed on time. The quality of the cameras are amazing. The clarity when viewing the cameras from a home computer and/or on a telephone are crisp and clear.
