I was at Lighthouse Coffee for a business meeting. Such a cute and inviting little shop. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. The service was fantastic as they were very accommodating with my request to just do a light roast coffee with sugar free flavored syrup and allowing me to add my own protein shake! If was a bit chilly that morning but it was so nice sitting out on the patio! Unfortunately I forgot to get any photos ‍ read more

Coffee is decent although they do give you 3 shots of espresso for a large. Place is clean and has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating

This place is great, sometimes. It's rarely consistent. Most of it is training and customer service issues. The issue was bad enough, today, to leave a review. The food isn't anything spectacular, but today, they were out of their bacon burrito. Which is fine, I ordered a regular burrito instead (just really basic, but to confirm: not spicy chicken and not vegan). Instead of listening to what I ordered, not only did the barista ring me up for a Maple Latte (which I didn't order); he also rang me up for a Vegan Burrito, also not what I ordered. He told me that it didn't matter because it was all the same price. Mind you, I've been here at least 50 times and I've had inconsistency with taste and service, but I've never been rang up for the wrong items. He was clearly very lazy and didn't know the kiosk system. Then proceeds to write on a cup that was for hot drinks. Not wanting him to go through the trouble of making the drink wrong, I said, "it's iced." Although, I stated this two times when placing my order. Once when placing it, secondly when he rang me up for the "Maple Latte", that I didn't order. He got quite the attitude and grabbed the iced drink cup. He then proceed to hand me some Spicy Chicken Burrito (not what I ordered) and not with the little cup of salsa that I asked for twice, at the register, upon ordering and repeating my order. When he hands me my coffee, I again, explained that I ordered the plain Breakfast Burrito since they were out of the bacon one. He argues with me, but doesn't have a leg to stand on since I already called him out about ringing up the "Vegan Burrito", which I also didn't order. He comes back with the Plain Breakfast Burrito, which had an expiration date of yesterday. I was pretty frustrated with his lack of give a fuck at this point, so, I took it, threw it in the trash, and left. The coffee that I ordered tasted nothing like it has in the past. Lack of training is really a problem here. I certainly hope someone in management reads this or maybe the owner, I have no idea. But you need to know that your staff does things like this. I doubt I'll be returning after this last experience. I've had enough with the inconsistency and chasing the high of how good it is, sometimes... The staff/customer service really needs some work. It should be a pleasure to serve customers, not a pleasure for your employees to grace us with their shitty presence and attitudes. And I'm not a complicated customer, at all. Just tired of horrible service. read more

Awesome little nook that serves up home made pastries and craft coffees. My 5 year old loves this place!

I needed to fuel up on caffeine after I had a job interview, so I stopped by at Lighthouse Coffee. It was a little hectic finding this place as there is quite a bot of construction in that area. There is a parking lot and street parking available. From what I understand is that Lighthouse recently moved a couple doors down a couple months ago to accommodate their baker. Their new location is cozy with high chairs and tables, couch and bar counter with stools. The decorations and lights make me feel safe and at home. I was welcomed by the barista. The pastries looked delicious but decided to skip the sweets and stick to caffeine. Coffee drinks can be made iced, hot or blended.I ordered a small hot Caramilla. It was delicious. My hope is that construction will be complete come summer time so that I can enjoy outdoor seating with the lake view and a cup of coffee in hand. If I get this job you'll be seeing a lot more of me Lighthouse ;) read more

One of my favorite coffee stops. My go to is the Dirty Chai. Hot or cold. Depending the weather.

Cute little place to sit with friends for coffee. I wouldn't expect good service . They RARELY say hello, if you need help at the muffin section they will STAY PUT at cash register, they wait till you go over to THEM , then they will address you. I don't get why they don't say hello if you are waiting for baked goods and might have questions . I can guarantee I'd be there more often if I felt welcomed at all. Since I live across the street I'd also be recommending them but I don't ... Yet they expect tips and make it obvious! No, just noooo read more

I love finding a new coffee place when I'm in new towns ... this coffee shop has unique coffee flavors and the location and ambience is lovely. This one in particular is on the water with a beautiful view . Not to mention the other items like local kombucha on tap and pastries etc. I'll add more photos when I visit again:) read more

This is my favorite location! I love that it's right at the marina, so I typically always start my morning here and then walk the marina twice while enjoying my drink. Their white mocha or chai, are my favorites! Especially when the pumpkin chai is in season. Friendly employees, and quick service. I also love their breakfast, especially the quiche! Wish it was a little bigger on the inside, but when the weather is nice out, they have plenty of outdoor seating and it's a beautiful view. read more

Their mocha's are really good and the baristas are friendly. Only thing, I ordered a 20oz and a 16 oz mocha, both cups looked smaller than they should be. When I got home, I checked and I was right. The 20oz was really 16oz and the 16oz was really 12 oz. Customers are getting ripped off. Not the employees fault but I hope the owner sees this post and fixes it. I like going, its a nice place to sit and have a coffee and enjoy the view of the marina and the mountains. read more

Such a charming shop on the marina! I've been here a few times to hang out and visit with dear friends and family members, and am always impressed with the atmosphere and delicious and intriguing variety of coffees and other beverages. The time I got to sample flavors of kombucha was memorable! The view is wonderful- mountains and the marina. Sunny day with sparkling water, or clouds rolling into the valley; always beautiful. Comfortable seating for times you want to relax and visit. Or grab something to go as you stroll! read more

Still has the best coffee in town and a friendly staff. I wish they'd open one in South Reno!

This cute, themed coffee shop is located right along the sparks marina walking path, close to the Outlets side. We took are walk then stopped for a coffee and treat before heading to the outlets, it worked out perfectly. They had a decent selection of coffee and espresso drinks, and some gluten free and regular pastry type items. I picked out a rosemary and fig scone, which was a tad dry but nice sweet and savory flavor. The guy at the counter was friendly and helpful and the place was nicely decorated. There was seating inside and a nice patio area as well, in which you look out at the marina while sipping away. I got the Iced Coconut latte, my wife got a Dirty Ginger Chai, and my mom got her usual cappuccino. Every one enjoyed their drinks and the atmosphere. I only wish it was closer to where I live because I would definitely go more often, however will keep this in the coffeehouse rotation for sure! read more

I've been driving by Lighthouse Coffee shop for years. This morning, I decided to stop by after a doctor appt today. They have a drive thru, but I decided to go inside to check things out. Super cute little local coffee shop. From being greeted upon entry, the lovely atmosphere with lots of bakery & food options, and the amazing customer service from all employees. The locals were greeted by name when they entered- entire staff seemed to know several of the customers by name. The employees were all busy all of the time - while the cashier that took my order warmed up my burrito, another employee jumped in to start taking orders at the cash register. The breakfast burrito had great flavor and texture, complete with hot sauce! I couldn't resist a carrot cake cupcake with cream cheese frosting either! Once again, Super cute little local coffee shop! I'll definitely be back. read more

Lighthouse coffee conveniently placed to grab a coffee and head out for a walk around the marina. They have everything from smoothies to coffee and in the evenings they've started to serve beer and wine. It's nice to be able to support local in this prime location. Really cannot beat the location - right on the Marina. Coffee is great, food is limited but okay. Dog friendly patio. Nice place to enjoy a quick chat or a cuppa at the end of a stroll around the Marina. read more

This coffee shop can be difficult to find if you are driving here, but it's hard to miss if you are walking along the trail that circles the Sparks Marina! It is in a prime location with beautiful views of the marina and Mount Rose in the distance. I love sitting on their patio enjoying an iced drink on a sunny day! The patio has plenty of seating, plus I can bring my pup to the patio. I asked for a pup cup for him and of course he loved it! The inside is on the smaller side, so not a place I would come to do work. They have some great coffee and tea options, especially on their seasonal menus. Today I had the Iced Pumpkin Spice Chai and it was delicious! I've tried their canned iced coffee because I loved the idea of supporting something like this from a local spot, but I wasn't a fan. All the drinks I've ordered in store have been great though! This is a lovely spot to swing by if you are near the Sparks Marina or even the Legends Outlets and need a morning or afternoon pick-me-up. read more

I love a nice coffee drink and I have recently had the experience of trying out Lighthouse. My brother raves about how they are one of the better places to meet for coffee. My first experience was a nice one. It was later in the day, so it was not busy at all. The menu was easy to read and understand. The prices were about the same as most other coffee places in town. What make this place a couple stars better than most coffee places I have been to is the friendly service you get when you walk in, several choices to choose from, they make the syrups homemade so it's not just an overly sweet, bottled syrup. It is very clean and comfortable inside or you can relax outside, and people watch while looking at the Marina. I usually order dairy free, so they have the oat milk or almond milk to choose from. The drinks are creamy and not bitter or overly sweet. My brother and I have decided that this will be our only choice now to meet for coffee. Next time I will bring my book and enjoy my drink in such a calm atmosphere. read more

I really enjoy it here. I came to study and although it was loud, I was able to use my headphones to escape some of the noise. But the views & the coffee are both equally amazing! I had a dirty chai which was delicious & an iced matcha in which they made extremely well. It's small and quaint but perfect for quality time alone or with others. It's definitely my go to coffee shop at the moment. Oh and the costumer service is great! read more

Lighthouse Coffee has become one of my go-to coffee spots in Reno. The atmosphere is quiet and cozy, making it the perfect environment to get work done, or enjoy a cup of coffee. Inside, there is a comfy couch area near the entrance, a long bench area along the windows, and five other tables dispersed throughout their space. A display case of pastries and other bottled beverages greets you as you approach the counter to order. My favorite thing to get here is their vanilla chai. During the warmer seasons, however, their smoothies and iced caramilla is the way to go! They also have rotating seasonal specials. And what better to accompany a cup of coffee than a stroll around the marina? Despite their other location being bigger, and open a little later, this location presents itself on the Marina in Sparks. I love getting to see a beautiful view as I get my work done! Whether you're in the area or not, definitely head this way and check them out. read more

The pastries were great. I was in the mood for something that tasted like an oatmeal cookie so I asked the barista if she could make me something, she did a pretty good job! I've gone there somewhat regularly. It's a nice setting, and by now they should recognize me as a regular who always gets some thing. This last time and the time before within a few minutes of me sitting down one of the barista's comes up and asks me if I'm going to get some thing. I always do. Like I said they should recognize me by now. To not be trusted when they've seen me in there so often leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I think their "policy" has lost them a customer. read more

This is by far my favorite Lighthouse Coffee location! You get a nice view of the marina, and it's so nice just coming here during your morning coffee run. Or just hanging out outside with friends. The great thing about our book club is that we have meetings in all sorts of unusual places that I would have never gone to on my own. This weekend, it was held here in Sparks in a location I would have never guessed existed. It was wonderful to enjoy the gorgeous mountain views and on a beautiful Sunday morning, it was even more fun to watch so many people enjoying strolls with their dogs. I am not much for drinking coffee, so I had the hot chocolate because it was a tad bit windy and chilly. PLUS: Dog lovers will appreciate they offer "hitches" to leash your dog safely outside - while you order your drink, you can keep an eye out on the pooch through the big windows. read more
