I was in the market for some awesome Home Security Cameras and seeing the 5 Star Yelp reviews made me inquire! After shopping around; doing my research, comparing 2 other companies products, and service maintenance fees, I'm happy to say that I have chosen a great deal! The first company quoted me for 4, 4.0 Megapixel Bullet Cameras which costed more and come to find out, they weren't in business very long; don't have as much man-power for maintenance and not as reliable. The second company didn't impress me; they didn't even use Bullet cameras - only Dome; but I was told that Dome cameras are better for indoor because of dust/cleaning, so I'd rather have bullets. I decided to keep shopping around and research. 3rd times a charm! I bought an 8 Channel NVR and installed 4, 4K 8.0 Megapixel Bullet Cameras - Best Clarity I could find - made for outdoors. I also purchased separately; a 4K Monitor at BestBuy to view at home. It's cheaper to buy your own monitor. Lifeline Fire & Security is well worth the price and I have room for 4 more Cameras on the 8 Channel NVR for future camera add-ons. Clarity is great and it's so fun and convenient to view Live from my App when I'm away from home. Lee was very helpful in explaining the products and installation, programming, maintenance fees, during consultation. Ernie and Ray installed the cameras in one day and returned to tweak it after. With some help from their other tech guy Stewart; trouble shooting the App and adjusting Playback - all worked out well! Customer service from Marissa is excellent! She is very nice and helpful. I have worked with Lifeline since 2009. I've had security installed at 4 homes and 3 offices over the years. Service from ordering, sales, to install has ALWAYS been smooth. They are always on top of things. But today the tech went over and above .... Started my week with a breakin and started my day with a dead car battery. The tech arrived at my house before I could because I was stranded on my way back from the babysitters down the street. He offered to come get me, and then he jumped my car! Courteous, and fabulous. Lifeline is an incredible security company. I've had my system installed for years and have had nothing but seamless support from them. Every time it is accidentally set off, which unfortunately happens more than I would like, they are quick to respond and assist. Every time I've called the office for any other reason they check to make sure everything else is going fine with the system and ask about any alerts they've noticed recently. I recently called to inquire about cameras. I spoke with Stuart who was incredibly helpful. He went above and beyond to answer all my questions, help us pick out the right system, and get install scheduled as early as possible. I'm very disappointed with this company. I decided to go with Lifeline after meeting with their sales rep Lee Metcalf. Everything seemed to be good after I signed a contract with them to take over after being very dissatisfied with Cam Security. That was early 2017. I chose this company again for three more properties just months ago this year and since then my sales contact is no longer with the company just after signing the contracts. Just today I learned the tech that's been working with my largest property for years even going back to Cam Security is leaving at the end of this month. I had to wait a month for service on my security cameras just this past month. And the new tech that has been out for one service call doesn't have nearly the experience. I recently bought a house in Hawaii so I had scarce knowledge about what's good or bad regarding home security system. I googled for local home securities and found out that Lifeline is an official dealer of Honeywell, a highly recommended system as the reviews showed online. I called up Sean Doyle and he immediately responded and came that week to discuss the details of cost, installation, and services. I must say he is one of the most professional, friendliest person I've known. He is not only honest but extremely knowledgeable about all the products. He is articulate in his manners that you don't feel like he's trying to sell you something you don't need or take advantage of your ignorance. We've been proud customers since we bought our 1st home back in 2008. When we bought our 2nd home a few months ago, we priced around just to cut costs. Turns out we found a lil cheaper company but Lifeline bent over backwards to satisfy us and keep us as customers. Shaun our sales guy, great communication! He had to go back and forth with the owner to get us to stay but that made us feel special! There was a lil miscommunication with the office girl with setting up our apps for the phone but mad props to her because u can tell she's extremely knowledgeable and works after closing! The service we were provided with was stellar. Installation was smooth without any difficulty and service representatives were clean professional and offered us the most value in selecting our security plan. Some things that separate Lifeline from other security providers is the obvious tamper resistant wireless hookups and live monitoring but the deal setter for us was the local support rather than the competitions support system in other countries or states, who called when an alarm was set off on accident and when error codes had alerted them. Maintenance and service is very punctual and when needed for reinstallation is necessary and the contracts provided are military friendly. Highly recommended over other service providers for the piece of mind in having a efficient, accurate, and securely monitored service that offers way more protection than alert notification. Some companies offer system in bundles and with prices that are lower but I feel the extra pennies are worth the piece of mind. read more

I've been reading about how more and more burglars cut your phone line before breaking in, since they know residential alarm systems always rely on your phoneline to transmit alarm signals. Thus your siren will sound but since the alarm co isnt notified, they dont send the cops. The technology has gotten better and now there's such as thing as 'wireless 2-way voice' - the 'wireless' capability being the ability to send signals to the alarm co via cellular *NOT* via your home phone line. Meaning even if you have a homephone line which the burglar cuts, the alarm system still works just fine including the 2-way voice 'speakerphone' capability. Other alarm co's offer cellular capability but cant offer it with 2-way voice speakerphone capability cause their equipment doesnt yet support this. But LFS can and does. Upgrading our system to this does cost us a little more, but its worth it, I figure. Our neighbors' houses arent that close to ours so if the next door neighbor's not home then likely nobody would know if our siren's blaring. And of course there's always the chance the bad guys will break in when a family member IS unexpectedly home. Knowing the alarm co will always be notified of a break in AND be able to hear what happening inside the house via the speakerphone, means we now have the best peace of mind money can buy! read more

So I just finished my installation and the technician Wally was great. The install was quick and it didn't seem inconvenient at all or bothersome as I have heard alarm installs can be from friends. Wally took the time to make sure I knew what I was doing when operating the system. There was a hiccup with the total connect but he was right on it and didn't leave me hanging in the wind by telling me he gotta leave and come back god knows when. He stayed till it was done. I was also late because of work and I felt sorry for him but he still waited till I got there without making me feel like I'm gonna lay for that. That says a a lot about a business when they will try their best to accommodate a client. I have enjoyed my experience so far with lifeline. My salesman Sean stopped by after completion unexpectedly to check if I was satisfied. I must say that is a great business practice. I just had a system installed recently by Alert and it looked like a$$! I made an appt. to have speak with Todd and instead of arriving on schedule, he said he would have a technician come out instead. At first I was a little skeptical, but the manger Mark had shown up to assess everything and came up with the final plan. He was by far, the friendliest, humble, and knowledgeable tech I've ever spoken to. So when it was time to install/ upgrade my system, another tech named Ernie had done it. He was also knowledgeable and professional about different systems and procedures. Afterwards, I had wanted to do a couple cameras for cctv so I called Monique to schedule another service. She was super friendly and it was easy to talk to her, she said Wolly would do the system. Todd had emailed me a price for the cameras and it seemed a little outrageous, but he kept saying that it was an HD system...whatever, so I waited for the service. Wolly came and put everything up and got it running in one day! He was also humble, nice easy to work with. They have an awesome team at Lifeline, it really is a shame that Mark is leaving, I think those three techs are the real Lifeline, not that Canadian Todd who couldn't even keep his word...I wonder if he even takes care of his staff...but great job you guys!
