I was in the market for some awesome Home Security Cameras and seeing the 5 Star Yelp reviews made me inquire! After shopping around; doing my research, comparing 2 other companies products, and service maintenance fees, I'm happy to say that I have chosen a great deal! The first company quoted me for 4, 4.0 Megapixel Bullet Cameras which costed more and come to find out, they weren't in business very long; don't have as much man-power for maintenance and not as reliable. The second company didn't impress me; they didn't even use Bullet cameras - only Dome; but I was told that Dome cameras are better for indoor because of dust/cleaning, so I'd rather have bullets. I decided to keep shopping around and research. 3rd times a charm! I bought an 8 Channel NVR and installed 4, 4K 8.0 Megapixel Bullet Cameras - Best Clarity I could find - made for outdoors. I also purchased separately; a 4K Monitor at BestBuy to view at home. It's cheaper to buy your own monitor. Lifeline Fire & Security is well worth the price and I have room for 4 more Cameras on the 8 Channel NVR for future camera add-ons. Clarity is great and it's so fun and convenient to view Live from my App when I'm away from home. Lee was very helpful in explaining the products and installation, programming, maintenance fees, during consultation. Ernie and Ray installed the cameras in one day and returned to tweak it after. With some help from their other tech guy Stewart; trouble shooting the App and adjusting Playback - all worked out well! Customer service from Marissa is excellent! She is very nice and helpful. Very reliable service. Mahalo for excellent service and look forward to doing business with you in the future. read more

I cannot say enough great things about Lifeline Fire and Security.. Mahalo plenty to Marissa for taking care of me when I called in with a security alarm connection issue. I truly appreciate the time you took to talk with me about my alarm system..You took common courtesy to an uncommon level and I'm so grateful for your help. Ray you're the best! I appreciate your time and patience spent repairing my alarm. You went above and beyond, warmest thanks. read more

I have worked with Lifeline since 2009. I've had security installed at 4 homes and 3 offices over the years. Service from ordering, sales, to install has ALWAYS been smooth. They are always on top of things. But today the tech went over and above .... Started my week with a breakin and started my day with a dead car battery. The tech arrived at my house before I could because I was stranded on my way back from the babysitters down the street. He offered to come get me, and then he jumped my car! Courteous, and fabulous. Thank you to my tech guy, Rod! And a big Mahalo to the whole crew for always taking care of my whinny self. :) Kisses and hugs. read more

We have been loyal customers of Lifeline for over 10+ years and we couldn't be happier with the home automation system. Our family felt safe 24/7. Many a times, we've accidentally triggered the alarm, and immediately we were connected to live operators asking our identification and dispatched HPD. Not once, have we felt their services were not great. Lifeline has protected our family for years and will continue to do so. read more

I don't even want to do a review but I mentioned to the sales person that I would of he would lie and so here I am. We switched from another awful company and it seems that they are all connected. This is our third month, we are in collection and neither the sales, the company not the VP would help with the transition. The installment took 4 hours in one home and 5 days on another. What ever you do Do Not make the mistake we made. read more

Lifeline is an incredible security company. I've had my system installed for years and have had nothing but seamless support from them. Every time it is accidentally set off, which unfortunately happens more than I would like, they are quick to respond and assist. Every time I've called the office for any other reason they check to make sure everything else is going fine with the system and ask about any alerts they've noticed recently. I recently called to inquire about cameras. I spoke with Stuart who was incredibly helpful. He went above and beyond to answer all my questions, help us pick out the right system, and get install scheduled as early as possible. He even came by on his own time to show us how the system works. You can't go wrong with this company. After years of using them I still feel like they're the best on the island. read more

We just built a new home and are so glad we now have our home secured and protected by Lifeline Fire and Security. The decision to choose Lifeline over the many other "security" companies was an easy one to make. Lifeline is locally owned and operated which gives me a sense of security that should any issue arise, they are here on the island and not some company operated out of the mainland. They offered incredible personalized service from the owner Todd Bedford to the installer and the staff. Whenever I had questions with our security panel, they were always pleasant and immediately assisted me. They treat you like Ohana! Thanks Lifeline Fire and Security for protecting our home and family! If you are looking to protect what you value most, your Family & Home. Lifeline Fire and Security is the company for you. read more

I had this company last year and recently updated the ought ADT due to their contract being 5 years and I felt was too long. But they were good when I had them, I just thought needed to try other companies and had a typical contract for 3 years only This is an update to my review. Todd call me ASAP, you know I cancelled my alarm system from August 2015 and you folks are still deducting from my checking account. I have sent you a message and included my contact number. You folks owe me a $207 and I want the automatic deduction to stop ASAP! read more

I'm very disappointed with this company. I decided to go with Lifeline after meeting with their sales rep Lee Metcalf. Everything seemed to be good after I signed a contract with them to take over after being very dissatisfied with Cam Security. That was early 2017. I chose this company again for three more properties just months ago this year and since then my sales contact is no longer with the company just after signing the contracts. Just today I learned the tech that's been working with my largest property for years even going back to Cam Security is leaving at the end of this month. I had to wait a month for service on my security cameras just this past month. And the new tech that has been out for one service call doesn't have nearly the experience. You'll get mixed messages from the office staff too. Very disappointed. read more

Just made the switch from alert alarm and already a better experience. I reached out to Sean Doyle last year but we weren't able to meet up due to unforeseen circumstances. Sean didn't forget me and reached out after a few months and I'm glad he did. Better product but the biggest difference is 100% without a doubt BETTER SERVICE. Kevin was the tech that installed and he was very professional, respectful, communicated well, and provide the same excellent service as Sean. Lifeline you've set the bar higher and I hope the rest of my time with you will not disappoint. Will recommend to everyone I know. Mahalo Nui Loa. read more

I'm in love with Lifeline. Every person I interact with is patient and kind. Very knowledgeable professional employees that care about their work. Monique gave me a fantastic rundown on Total Connect 2 plus one technician trained me in my home for no charge. We cannot say enough good things about Todd and LFS, INC - but maybe a class on how to build such an impressive company would be next. Mahalo for ever read more

I recently bought a house in Hawaii so I had scarce knowledge about what's good or bad regarding home security system. I googled for local home securities and found out that Lifeline is an official dealer of Honeywell, a highly recommended system as the reviews showed online. I called up Sean Doyle and he immediately responded and came that week to discuss the details of cost, installation, and services. I must say he is one of the most professional, friendliest person I've known. He is not only honest but extremely knowledgeable about all the products. He is articulate in his manners that you don't feel like he's trying to sell you something you don't need or take advantage of your ignorance. We instantly became friends and I felt like he had the best interest for my family at heart. Ernie came to install the system and, like Sean, very friendly and skilled. I can't think of anyone else I'd have trusted to secure my home. When I had questions, I called up Gary at the office and he was very personable and personal. It was like he knew me for many years when we have not even met. Honestly, the kindest people work at Lifeline. Throughout the weeks and months, I often have questions to bother Sean or Gary and they were always readily available, day and night, weekends and holidays. I felt like I have been exploiting their goodness but I guess it's just the way they embrace their business....It's personal and it's ohana. Thank you for securing my home and protecting my children. I'd recommend this company to anyone in an instance and I already have. read more

We've been customers since 2006 and couldn't be happier with our service! We'll be customers for life! Customer service is great. Someone is always available to assist us with questions. Anytime we need an answer, we receive replies very quickly. If there are issues with our equipment, someone is scheduled to come take care of things. This is a company that truly cares about their customers. We feel safe and protected with Lifeline. Will definitely recommend Lifeline to anyone looking for a great alarm company to work with. read more

These guys are great. The owner of the company Todd is honest, reliable and an overall nice guy. I have both of my offices and my home covered by Lifeline and haven't had any problems. I've referred my family and friends to them, and will continue to do so. read more

We've been proud customers since we bought our 1st home back in 2008. When we bought our 2nd home a few months ago, we priced around just to cut costs. Turns out we found a lil cheaper company but Lifeline bent over backwards to satisfy us and keep us as customers. Shaun our sales guy, great communication! He had to go back and forth with the owner to get us to stay but that made us feel special! There was a lil miscommunication with the office girl with setting up our apps for the phone but mad props to her because u can tell she's extremely knowledgeable and works after closing! Highly recommend! read more

I posted an earlier review that I felt obligated to take down and revise after my problem with Lifeline was solved by the owner Todd Bedford. What began as a huge headache over a contractual issue was quickly resolved by Todd. I send a big Mahalo to him for his integrity and good business practice. I would gladly do business with Todd and Lifeline again! read more

Just updated my alarm system, have been with this company since 2006, they are professional, helpful and very customer oriented. Sean stopped by and discussed new available options and technology and I decided to upgrade our old system, a couple of days later Ernie installed the new system and explained all the features. Great customer service. Call them for professional, efficient service. read more

The service we were provided with was stellar. Installation was smooth without any difficulty and service representatives were clean professional and offered us the most value in selecting our security plan. Some things that separate Lifeline from other security providers is the obvious tamper resistant wireless hookups and live monitoring but the deal setter for us was the local support rather than the competitions support system in other countries or states, who called when an alarm was set off on accident and when error codes had alerted them. Maintenance and service is very punctual and when needed for reinstallation is necessary and the contracts provided are military friendly. Highly recommended over other service providers for the piece of mind in having a efficient, accurate, and securely monitored service that offers way more protection than alert notification. Some companies offer system in bundles and with prices that are lower but I feel the extra pennies are worth the piece of mind. read more

Professional, excellent and helpful! They installed an excellent alarm system at my former workplace a few years ago. The church continues to be secured and protected by Lifeline Fire and Security. Their products and customer service are second to none! read more

I've been reading about how more and more burglars cut your phone line before breaking in, since they know residential alarm systems always rely on your phoneline to transmit alarm signals. Thus your siren will sound but since the alarm co isnt notified, they dont send the cops. The technology has gotten better and now there's such as thing as 'wireless 2-way voice' - the 'wireless' capability being the ability to send signals to the alarm co via cellular *NOT* via your home phone line. Meaning even if you have a homephone line which the burglar cuts, the alarm system still works just fine including the 2-way voice 'speakerphone' capability. Other alarm co's offer cellular capability but cant offer it with 2-way voice speakerphone capability cause their equipment doesnt yet support this. But LFS can and does. Upgrading our system to this does cost us a little more, but its worth it, I figure. Our neighbors' houses arent that close to ours so if the next door neighbor's not home then likely nobody would know if our siren's blaring. And of course there's always the chance the bad guys will break in when a family member IS unexpectedly home. Knowing the alarm co will always be notified of a break in AND be able to hear what happening inside the house via the speakerphone, means we now have the best peace of mind money can buy! read more

We have been Lifeline customers since 2008. Not only do we have their system in our home, but also our business. Their equipment is top notch and only outdone by their customer service. My husband and I required a pretty sophisticated system at our business. Because there's many facets to our system, it's taken my husband and I some time to learn how to save clips when needed and operate it all. We've called Lifeline many times and Stewart (the owner) has called us back himself! Props to Eric the installer and the other two gentlemen we've worked with over the years during our 3 different installations in two homes and our business. Also thanks to Gary for being so responsive to our needs and questions. I feel like with Lifeline we have a security OHANA, not just a company :) Mahalo for your great service! read more

I recently upgraded my camera and security system. We were very pleased we went with Lifeline Fire and Security. They were very thorough in explaining the benifits of each system, and giving me multiple options. The technicians Erik and Woddy were skilled and efficient in the installation, and equally qualified breaking down the technical functions , allowing T.V.,P.C., IPad, iPhone, monitoring. The cameras are amazing and the images leave no doubt. The night time HD infrared helps us feel safe 24/7. #ProtectionMaximizingMyInvestment read more

The first time I called, Gary answered and connected me to Lee. Lee was extremely helpful with our request for arranging the consult, meeting to sign papers, and expediting the installation quickly. My husband and I like to get things done fast and Lifeline has been very flexible with working with our schedule. Monique worked her magic to get us an earlier installation date and Justice was very friendly, professional, and respectful of our home and personal belongings when installing the system. I had previously called a couple of other national companies but was put off by the long waits on the phone. Lifeline has met and exceeded our expectations; quick responses, personable, and very professional. Everyone we have dealt with has been great at Lifeline. We would highly recommend this company and their security system. read more

So I just finished my installation and the technician Wally was great. The install was quick and it didn't seem inconvenient at all or bothersome as I have heard alarm installs can be from friends. Wally took the time to make sure I knew what I was doing when operating the system. There was a hiccup with the total connect but he was right on it and didn't leave me hanging in the wind by telling me he gotta leave and come back god knows when. He stayed till it was done. I was also late because of work and I felt sorry for him but he still waited till I got there without making me feel like I'm gonna lay for that. That says a a lot about a business when they will try their best to accommodate a client. I have enjoyed my experience so far with lifeline. My salesman Sean stopped by after completion unexpectedly to check if I was satisfied. I must say that is a great business practice. It made me feel like they actually gave a damn and appreciated my business. Thanks lifeline. read more

I just had a system installed recently by Alert and it looked like a$$! I made an appt. to have speak with Todd and instead of arriving on schedule, he said he would have a technician come out instead. At first I was a little skeptical, but the manger Mark had shown up to assess everything and came up with the final plan. He was by far, the friendliest, humble, and knowledgeable tech I've ever spoken to. So when it was time to install/ upgrade my system, another tech named Ernie had done it. He was also knowledgeable and professional about different systems and procedures. Afterwards, I had wanted to do a couple cameras for cctv so I called Monique to schedule another service. She was super friendly and it was easy to talk to her, she said Wolly would do the system. Todd had emailed me a price for the cameras and it seemed a little outrageous, but he kept saying that it was an HD system...whatever, so I waited for the service. Wolly came and put everything up and got it running in one day! He was also humble, nice easy to work with. They have an awesome team at Lifeline, it really is a shame that Mark is leaving, I think those three techs are the real Lifeline, not that Canadian Todd who couldn't even keep his word...I wonder if he even takes care of his staff...but great job you guys! PS: every time i have an issue, this guy Mr. Gary is at the office helping me out :P awesome service and awesome techs read more
