4 1/2 stars. Completely professional. All the help (Nurses ? ) were professional, helpful and courteous. Clean facilities ( The "Canterwood Golf and Country club" facilities were very nice) in Gig Harbor Washington. Got to be a little pricey but now am at more peace knowing I've had a 2nd opinion on some things and new diagnosis on other things. My wife and I had a conversation with another person getting tests and she said they go every 3 years. A few years ago when her husband had a test they found he needed a number of stints, which saved his life, so now they are real believers. They had no idea anything was wrong. He felt absolutely normal, they were very thankful that they went. I liked it better when they mailed your results for free but now they charge for mailing it to you (plus the postage). It's kind of like going into the Mall and grabbing a coke and they have their tip jar out there :(:(:(. It's $15.00 for me and $15.00 for my wife's. They charge enough as it is. We ended up paying about $700.00 plus (that was for the both of us). It used to be free when they sent your results. It's quite a hassle for me to look up each test (we had several) both doing hers and then mine and they don't come all at once. Very convenient, affordable screening my regular yearly exams don't include. Most staff very friendly, but there are some that seem to just go thru the motions, don't introduce themselves or engage in light conversation beyond telling you what to do. This was my second visit, and it was better than my first visit last year. Last year I had a drill-sergeant-like woman do my peripheral artery disease and bone density scan. Barely talked to me, talked mostly to her co-workers and complaining. The gal that did my ECG, carotid artery and abdominal aorta exam was very friendly and personable. This year, it was reversed, woman who performed ECG/carotid/abdominal aorta just gave me directions, no introduction, no have a nice day. The gal that did my peripheral artery scan and bone density scan not only introduced herself (Hi Naomi!) but engaged in fun conversation about mutual interests. I scheduled as early as possible in the morning, and it was a very quick in & out; also did the pre-check in online. I waited less than 5 min after check-in for 1st procedures as well as 2nd procedures. I was there less than an hour. My primary physician was pleased with this extra info and encouraged me to continue, especially since insurance is woefully behind in covering things that screen for heart disease in women. The benefits outweigh the minor negatives, so I will definitely continue these screenings. read more

This was a great experience for me. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The checkin was smooth. I was greeted when I arrived and waited-a short time-until I was called to sign in. The entire process was fast and efficient. I did not experience any delays. I was so happy to be able to get this screening. Due to family history, I definitely wanted to get these tests and they made it possible by offering them at such a great price. The staff explained each test to me and put me at ease. I wish I could remember the name of the person that checked me in. She was phenomenal. I feel she went the extra mile with me . I really appreciate all of the staff. I haven't received my results as it hasn't been even a week since my testing. I was told if there were any immediate concerns I would be contacted. One thing I wish you would consider: I did receive a call the next morning but was not able to answer it. They didn't leave a voicemail. This created some anxiety that something was wrong. When I did contact them, it was only a call to tell me I was eligible for another test. I wish you would leave a voicemail when calling so close to the testing. This would eliminate worry when you aren't able to speak with someone when they call. read more

I've been receiving a notice from Life Line Screening for years and though interested, I never permitted myself to sign up. This past year, I was diagnosed with high blood pressure and while trying to get a handle on it, my M.D. recommended taking advantage of their services next time they came around. He said they offer a thorough screening at an insanely reasonable price. Lucky me, I only had to wait a couple of months. What an impressive set-up they had. The whole process was quick and efficient. There were multiple stations set up behind screens. Each station had its own operator. Each operator was practiced and friendly, even though I was there at the end of their day. No clothes needed to be removed. Just needed to be able to expose the neck and collar bone area, ankles and mid-section. I expect the results in my in-box any day now, one week after going through the process. I was informed that if anything alarming had shown up on their screens, they would have made certain to let me know right there and then. I'm looking forward to the peace of mind I will receive with the results, no matter what they show. Thank you, Life Line! I'll see you next year. read more

The room wasn't set up very invitingly; chairs were just everywhere. The first person you encounter was set up right at the door at the front of the room with the mess of chairs. He was a nice guy, very friendly, but his voice was loud so whatever medical and personal information you were asked, everyone in the room (and out in the main room for that matter) could hear your answers. I heard everyone's answers that went before me. I had pre-registered online so I only had to give personal information including weight, but I was so uncomfortable with how indiscreet the whole thing was. I nicely told the man that I thought he should be in a more discreet place, behind a screen, and he said I wasn't the only person to suggest that, and that he'd suggested that himself, but there he was out front. I was very put off by the staff loudly speaking to each other over the flimsy screens. It was not a private setting in any way and I didn't feel comfortable at all. The technicians were nice people, but the setting was not conducive to retrieving personal, private information and receiving medical testing. I am not 100% sure I'm going to get high-quality results for my $179. read more

Mixed Review! 1) The technicians and staff are very pleasant and professional. 2) Although I haven't received my results yet, I'm sure they will be interesting to compare to past testing. 3) I'm very disappointed in what tests I received vs what I "thought" I paid for. After a lengthy call when booking my appointment, I was informed of extra tests if I paid $197 for their lifetime membership vs the $139 (plus 19 admin fee) for the 5 tests advertised in their flyer. When I arrived, I asked about the extra tests and there weren't any extra tests! They said they could take my blood pressure, if I'd like - REALLY! They told me I had a $30 credit towards blood work - but I'd have to purchase (I think $60) for the tests and then they would discount the $30. SCAM!! 4) After my tests, I called the number on the literature and got the run around regarding what I paid for and what I received. I told them to cancel my Lifetime Membership and reimburse me the $39 difference in price for what I received. They said they couldn't. 5) This is such a SCAM! 6) I will NEVER recommend this testing or company ever again!!!! read more

I appreciated the efficiency of the staff. There needs to be more detailed instruction as to what to do at sign in and afterwards. I was able to figure out the pattern only after watching the customers come and go and the techs calling out names. I have a hearing loss so I was concerned that I would miss my cue. Luckily, the staff called out names loudly enough. My receipt did not reflect the amount that I prepaid, but my prepayment covered services. I would suggest taking a look at the practices that affect the customer in understanding the procedures during the clinic. Also, I called Lifeline because it was recommended by AMAC for $135.00, but during that call the representative added on other costs that increased the total to more than $200.00. After that call, I researched the costs and found that I didn't need the extras. I called the company and received a partial refund, but the representative wasn't too happy about it. So, I definitely recommend the screenings themselves, but the supporting services need to be more transparent and helpful. read more

Everything was great. Except for 1 thing. I'll explain at the end. They were very professional and nice. Explained everything before they did anything. When I was leaving a lady outside was having a difficult time walking. She could only take 2 steps and was out of breath. I asked her to stop walking so I could get someone to help. (I couldn't help because I hurt my sciatic and was afraid we both go down). I went back inside and asked for help and the first nurse that was right there instantly came out to help. Very professional and helpful. The only thing I wish you had and recommend (because most people that come to this are older adults) is more signs. At the entrance and then signs leading to the entrance where this is taking place. The one I went to was at a church but it was all the way down at the end of the building. Most of us ended up walking all the way down there. The lady who needed help couldn't walk that distance. So please more signs leading to the entrance would be extremely helpful. Long time user of this service. Usually do once a year. Visit to be checked was friendly and efficient. Setting up appointment online needs improvement. Never received email confirmation when I signed up online. So, I called next day to check. Nice lady said online appointment didn't take. so, she set up appointment. No Email confirmation this time either. Called different department next day. This third try worked. At check in, additional tests were offered. As usual I did do some of my normal addons. Wish all such addons would be available online or during phone set up. Would like a package that includes what tests I previously had. Don't always remember what I did last time when checking in. Also, never received US Mail notification of upcoming available appointments as I have in the past. It is good that we now have online results. Hope genetic testing via saliva of the 5 Critical genes that cause health problems will be offered in the future. I also use Function Health testing service. read more

I love Lifeline ..... and hate to make a negative statement ... BUT .... #1) they were playing like really "funky loud fast noisy music" (my blood pressure results was evident that it didn't help! (I have normal blood pressure taken 2 days later, twice at 2 different appointments) #2) There was a woman there named Tonya? she did my plaque screening there was something wrong with her .... and she probably shouldn't have been there. She was like bristling with HIGH AGGATATION!! NOT SURE WHAT WAS WRONG BUT ....... I mentioned when they did my intake to the "intake" lady about the music .... (the general clientele at these screenings are us "older generation and the selection of music needs to be more considerate and thoughtful of the clientele!) she was flippant about my comment and said "I like funky music" I was thankful that I had ear buds and could listen to some more gentle calm music .... but the atmosphere in general was a lot of negative emotion. Screenings went great, smooth and easy. Need better directions when you walk in to locate the facility. The Life-Line vehicle parked in front of swimming pool was a sigh of relief... then some passer by helped. Staff were courteous and caring. Care could have been better. For example, Lift both your hands and I started gazing at the roof with both hands praying to God - Then the instructions fell that they wanted to put pressure belts around both arms. Similarly, bend and spread both your legs --- Hmm not good feeling but later realized that they wanted to put pressure belts around both hind feet.... Instructions along with Explanation are always better. I write with confidence because I have spent 3 years in many hospitals, and the instructions have always been crystal clear from nurses and doctors, always. Overall, An Excellent Experience and Highly recommend all Men and Women beyond 35+ to undergo such screening at least once in 1-3 years if not every year - it's worth every penny. read more

it was a very good experience. The employees treated all of us clients with respect , and the were very helpful, polite and performed the test with percussion. I also really liked ho they worked together as a team. The one experienced employee man helped the check in lady check in people in when so many clients showed up at once so at once, so the process was very moved along for all of us smoothly without any delays. I am on sorry that I didn't get to personally didn't get to think of myself and didn't even think to get his name to sure that you know how valuable part of the team he was. Because every employee that works bad efficiently has a team member should be recognized by their employer also and lady that drew the blood was excellent at her job. Also, I didn't get her name either. The other two employees were very good in polite. but they did their job well overall it was an excellent team together and the equipment worked well. read more

Overall experience was good, with the huge exception of one of the exam tables. This particular exam table was extremely high and perfect for someone of a height of 6'6." This is no exaggeration! I was confronted with an exam table for the first time in my life, without a "step-up," which left me wondering how I was going to get up onto it. Due to Degenerative Disc Disease and Osteoporosis, I've lost 3" inches in height, so am longer 5'6." Being a measly 5'3" in height is indeed challenging, when faced with an exam table with a height for a fullback! With a very bad back, I was left to my own devices. I've no idea how I made it up onto that table, but demanded that the tech get my husband back there to help me off, because I was in so much pain. The following 2 days were spent flat on my back, on pain pills. (Oh, yes, there was no one to check us in, but few people waiting, which was good.) read more

I found the staff friendly and efficient and the site/location at which the screening took place well-run. I had hardly any wait at all, and the results came back to me one week later, earlier than I'd expected. The problem with trying to get these kinds of tests done via a "regular" doctor through insurance is that medical professionals can't order these tests unless there's a "reason" or suspicion they are "needed." I feel that by the time you get to that point, it could be too late or at least far advanced enough that dialing things back on your own would be difficult. Having the opportunity to order the tests on my own means that I can be more proactive than our medical system allows us to be otherwise. While not everyone can afford the price of having these tests done, if you can manage to come up with the few hundred it costs, I think the screening is well worth it. read more

Everyone was great! From the gentleman Luis to the Technicians were all very professional and caring. I pretty much got screened for most of the tests they offered. Medicare dosen't cover these tests unless they find a problem. I wanted to take full advantage of this opportunity and have peace of mind. I rather be safe than sorry. I would recommend these screenings to all people whether you are a senior or not. Making an appointment was easy. Every year I get the flyer in the mail. All I had to do was call the number on the flyer and the office personal scheduled me very close to my home address and she explained the different tests and how much each cost. I turned 50 last year and in this new stage, I am doing my best to stay on top of my health. And so, when I got the paraphenalia in my mailbox, inviting me to take the 5 Test, I could not resist. Did a litle research, realized that Live Line was legit, called and made the appointment. I arrived for my appointment on time and within minutes, I was laying on a table with two pleasant ladies working on me. I was then usured into another room to have another test completed and met with a delightful young lady. Really, I should have gotten their names. She was kind and informative. She even convinced me to also have my A1c checked! Yes, it was more monies being spent, but I made the investment for my health. I will definitley get my husband to get some tests done, too. I filled out my intake health information on line so my check-in was super quick with minimal questions. Within 10 minutes I was called back to a booth to begin my testing. Between tests, I returned to the seating area but within minutes I would move on to the next exam. I was finished in under 30 minutes total. The technicians and staff were super kind & explained what they needed to do for the exams, even the finger stick didn't hurt as I was expecting. Overall, great experience and it was a 10 out of 10 for a medical experience. My husband also went and he hates medical tests. Even he said it was quick and painless. Overall a great experience for him also. It was entertaining when I would get a test after him because the technician already knew most of my story because my husband was a chatty Kathy due to his nervousness. read more

I am very pleased that I purchased this screening. My doctor is rushed and while he checks those issues I mention, not all problems are apparent to us or even to the doctor. Having lifeline run a number of diagnostic tests was greatly appreciated and I actually wish that they ran a few more. Everyone there was pleasant and hard working, the facilities were clean and private, parking was available and all in all, I would do it again. A friend of mine referred me to their service. She decided to go to them just because she thought it would be a good idea and it is a good thing that she did. She had one carotid artery that was 70% blocked. She might not have known about that until she had a stroke. Although she felt somewhat tired, her doctor had not on his own, thought of checking her arteries to resolve the issue. read more

My experience was good and it was very fast. It has been only three days and some of my results are already posted in the Portal. I did receive a call the day after my appointment telling me about a Home Wellness Check that is free; but I was a little concerned that it was a scam caller because she asked for my Medicare number. I was not comfortable giving it to her. Therefore, I called your Customer Service the next day to confirm that this is done. She did confirm that it is done. I think this should be done at the site right after your exam because I think most people would think it is a scam, even though they know your name and that you went for an exam. I do not like giving out that type of information over the phone, especially when I am called by someone, when I did not initiate the call; or to anyone. read more
