I had to wait 40 minutes before being taken in. The person checking me in was very personable and helpful, but the technicians were like robots. I signed up for a Lifeline screening since I rarely need to see a doctor, and I thought it was a good idea to get an overall assessment. The problem for someone like me is that I frequently have to go out of town for business unexpectedly, and require flexibility for anything personal that I commit to. When the situation presented itself, and I had to leave town on short notice, I called to change my appointment right away. That only provided a 24 hour notice, and I was therefore charged $50.00 because Lifeline Screening requires a minimum of 48 hours. Needless to say, I will not be scheduling another appointment in the future. read more

I was a little worried what it would be like when I got there. I had to leave work and was hoping it would move right along. I was there for around 90 minutes and had blood draw as well as the regular screenings. Everyone was super nice and made you feel very comfortable. I will do it again! read more

My rating has more to do with the efficiency of the experience than the staff. Actually, I have no complaints against the staff. Each was kind and moved through the procedure quickly. My low rating has to do with the efficiency. When I walked in to register, I was overwhelmed with the number of people waiting. When I asked how long the wait would be there was no explanation of how the process worked or that at the wait wasn't as bad as it looked with the number of people waiting. It seems the two ultrasounds could have been done at one time. The peripheral and EKG could have also been done at the same time. I was literally on the same bed with the same two technicians next to me for these latter two. If only there hadn't been a 30 minute wait between them. I haven't had the results yet, so cannot speak to that. If you go, plan on longer than the 90 minutes suggested. read more

They must have had a rough day on our appointment date. I think on that day they were under staffed. They were an hour late getting to us. This was not a great start for our appointment. However, when our turn came, the man and 3 women conducting the tests were very kind and professional. Finally, I had a bit of a problem with the "upselling" of additional services and tests. As a salesman myself, I know the best time to do upsales is when the customer is in front of you with their checkbook in hand. However, it seemed odd to hit us with the upsale at check in. I was taught that rather than just bitch about something, offer a solution. So... how about between stations you can offer your additional services. Or after all tests are completed mention that there is another, quick, easy test for whatever. Then you have to be ready to administer the test immediately. As I said at the beginning, people value their time and when you make them wait for an hour to perform the first test it tends to upset your brand new clients. Not a good start. read more

They were able to get the patients in and out quickly. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the staff, always working together as a team. This was my 5th year of doing the test and I have felt very comfortable with the staff. I always get my test results within 10 days. I also liked that they ask if you wanted to do any other test (that you did not sign up for while making your appt) so it could be performed that day also. read more

I have been having these screenings for many years now, ever since my Dad was diagnosed through Lifeline with AAA, which I'm sure prolonged his life several years. This screening took about 1/2 hr., and every test was explained as it was done. Not much of a wait in between each test, and very nice, professional people performing the tests. Dumbed down screening. I was expecting a Carotid Intima-Media Thickness-CIMT test with full clinical report.

My appointment time was about 1:45 pm and apparently the staff had not returned from lunch and there were no directions as to what to do when you entered the reception area. Several staff walked by and rudely said you need to sit in a seat until you are called. There were several of us there and we could hear the staff laughing and talking with one another, but not bothering with the clients sitting in the waiting area. No one came out to say we are running a little late, we will be right with you, or anything. Finally, at almost 2:00 pm, someone started calling people to the desk. Unfortunately, those who were there first weren't called first. I'm sure it had to do with appointment times, but it would have been nice if we were told that. Plus, it would have been helpful to have a sign-in sheet or instructions as to what to do when we came into the reception area, or an out-to-lunch sign, and not a rude comment of sit in a seat until you are called comment. It might be helpful to have the staff take a class in customer relations. The test was handled efficiently, and the testing staff appeared to be competent. read more

Such a good experience -- especially with today's long wait times to get these tests done in mainstream healthcare systems. The results are extremely quick, well-presented and understandable to the lay person. The personnel are friendly, knowledgeable and can answer any questions regarding the tests. it was my first experience with Life Line. Appeared to be overbooked and under staffed. I was told I would be there for 90 minutes and was there for three hours. Certain stations were very disorganized and not very sanitary. Also, it too sure how accurate the blood test results were. Probably won't go back. read more

Do not schedule any screenings with this company. It's an assembly line travelling pop-up clinic, usually set up in some type of community center or church meeting hall. Once you are in their database, you will be inundated with constant emails and phone calls. It's targeted towards elderly ppl, not sure how truly accurate or 'life-saving' the screenings really are. read more

Paid for 5 tests but they said no only 4 and ended up doing just 3. No one has offered a refund yet, so not real happy. I don't know about the results of the 3 tests that they did do....maybe it will be worth it. The call today was for more tests, not taking care of the existing problems. read more

I thought I was doing testing to alleviate stress about my health, but this has only created more stress and now I am spending additional money to get the same testing through my physician since Life Line seems to have lost my results. When I arrived at the location, I was not greeted or provided any direction. At several points during testing I was in the same area laying directly beside another participant with us both being asked very personal health questions and absolutely no privacy Once the testing was complete, I returned to my normal work to await the results. I have received multiple emails stating that my results have been posted to the portal, but they have not as of this moment and it is well over two weeks later. I have reached out to customer service and no one seems to be able to tell me anything other than "give it 72 hours." I have been told this the last two times I have called and still no results. This was a complete waste of my time and money. Don't waste yours, trust your physician. Ask them for additional testing if you feel like you need it. read more

On the day of the screening, I came to the screening center early thought I might have to wait a long time. I saw people complete their test very fast and for me, It turn out the whole test took between 15 to 20 min and it was done. I was a bit surprise and had doubt the quality of the test done. The technician did not explain each test steps, but just say this will be the test done. I have the ultrasound measurement done on abdominal and the both neck. The other two tests felt like doing the regular blood pressure measurements. It took 8 days to have my results, but my A1C result still pending. My result was available online, but it would cost you if you want them to send you the report. The presentation of the results are easy to read and colorful with pictures. My results are normal, but only as good as where they have done the measurement. The report stated the following: IMPORTANT: It is possible to have a normal screen with Life Line Screening and still suffer a stroke or a heart attack. Life Line Screening screens for the leading causes of stroke, however, we do not screen for every possible cause of stroke and no screening can screen for every possible variation of vascular disease. Please note, we do not screen your heart for heart attack risk. Specifically, we do not screen the coronary arteries, the arteries surrounding the heart. I noticed the report they provide does not come with the raw image. I would like the raw image data and measurement to show it to my doctor to have his second opinion. I call Life Line and it would cost extra to receive the raw image. So be aware. read more

The only reason I give this a 4 star review is bc I was a little nervous and the person doing the exam was not a happy person at all. Appointment started off with a sick receptionist. A medical company should have zero tolerance for sick employees. The church where the screening was held, had to share the space with church volunteers moving equipment in front of them and had to move the waiting rooms seats to accommodate the church. They did not honor the appointment time, but were not very late. However, the technicians seemed knowledgeable and were efficient. read more

I have been going to Life LIne for four or five years. I do enjoy the feedback I receive in the mail. It includes clear images and print description of the test results. However, in my last 2 visits, the registration desk experience has been poor. In both cases, I made an effort to be right on time for my appointments. I've used Lifeline 3 times and was satisfied. This time, I was told on the booking call that I paid for the blood work. When I went to the appointment, they were two 2hrs behind schedule, so I had to reschedule. I was told I needed to leave enough time for the appointment buy for me, adding 2 hours to a 1.5hr window was excessive. I rebooted for a later date. When I arrived at the appointment, I was told I had to pay an additional $250 for blood work. So rather than have a fight, I decided not to do blood work. While I was there, another woman got VERY angry because the same thing happened to her. She didn't pay and also didn't get the blood work. I'm not sure if it's a Lifeline way of making a few extra dollars or if they made the mistake of rebooking me. I'll probably not do Lifeline next time. read more

They must have a lot of no-shows because they relentlessly reminded me to show up. Multiple reminders to show up or lose my deposit. The people were friendly but the tech taking blood was a trainee and couldn't get enough blood from my finger, requiring a "second stick" from the trainer. Annoying. I also couldn't get one of the tests because I have a history of blood clots. You'd think they could have figured that out ahead of time. Instead the tech told me to call customer service for a refund of that test. I did and found out I had to wait until the next day to call as the "computers hadn't updated" for the day. Again, annoying. I also have to wait about a week for results. I usually get them within hours from my regular doctor. So, it was an OK procedure but not stellar, and it cost several hundred dollars, not covered by insurance. If it identifies a potential health problem I guess its worth it but service seems to be much better and cheaper from my regular doctor/lab, which is covered by Medicare. read more
