I also have very tricky veins and it takes most phlebotomists a couple tries but Jane knew exactly what she was doing. She had amazing bedside manners and got it first try with no pain. A couple of days pass, I thought they would mail me my result but when I didn't receive anything I called customer care and my test result was mailed to me, only to notice that it was stated on the result that the lab spilled my urine sample and couldn't conduct the relevant test. they didn't bother to call to inform me about this. however I had a friend drive me about 8 miles back to the lab again on the 6/8/26 to give another sample. I would expect the lab would be sorry for their negligence in spilling the sample I previously gave and take my sample again without wasting my time, but boy was I wrong! the staff were borderline rude, they told every cock and bull story to avoid doing what's right. I was literally told to go call customer care again and ask customer care to reorder my test or I pay for a new test. after I challenged them, they told me to wait they wanna talk to their supervisor and I was there waiting for over an hour. after more than an hour the staff dealing with me left the lab maybe for her lunch break Im not sure, but on her way out, she told me the other staff would handle my issue. she left and came back about 30mins later I was still waiting, nobody had done anything about my test they botched! it was after almost 2 hours they called me in to give another urine sample. In all the treatment I got was horrible, you don't botch a service to a client due to your own negligence and then they come around a 2nd time to help you fix your mess and you proceed to treat them like shit! that's exactly my experience at Quest diagnostics, 2525 W Anderson.

I am glad I was able to go somewhere close, but I wouldn't go back again. There's something too casual and too run down about the place where you question things. I don't know if they do blood work there, but I would never get my blood taken there. The two people I saw seemed to both be about 19 years old. They were very nice and polite, but just again like me questioning if everyone knows what they're doing. The bathroom door was supposed to be able to close and lock, but a few seconds later I found it hadn't locked and was a few inches open. I could barely get it to stay closed. It's just not one of those regular professional lab places I'm used to where everything seems super hygienic, super clean, super up to date.

Dr Ta didn't push the most expensive option. He told me his diagnosis and suggested treatment and gave me options. I felt I was in control of my treatment plan. Like a lot of retirees, my budget is…read morelimited. 2) These podiatrists have been treating me for a severe chronic ankle wound and I have no complaints about their care. My issues began after several weekly visits. I was seeing Dr. Adams at their Dripping Springs office once a week. She is no longer with the group. They also have another office in Oak Hill. The first thing the front desk clerk says when you walk in is "you have a balance of $XX. Can you take care of that today? It's very uncomfortable, as there are usually others in the waiting room. They state loudly that they will not see you if your balance is over $200. I had to skip a couple weeks and start going to the Oak Hill office, where I had never been before. When I walked in and sat down the clerk said, "You have a balance of $195. Can you take care of this today. I told her I could pay $100. People were in the waiting room. It was embarrassing. When I saw the doctor, I told her I couldn't afford to be seen every week. We agreed that I would start coming every 2 weeks to lower my costs. When I checked out, the same clerk pressured me to pay the full amount plus $56 for that day's visit. I told her $100 was all I HAD at that time. She said if I didn't pay the full amount before my next appointment or they "couldn't" see me. Again, embarrassing! Also, just for the record, I have only received one statement from SWF&A, which I ignored, because it was dated several weeks in the past, I had already paid part of it, and I knew I'd be in their office in the next few days. I was paying my full balance every week, until it suddenly went up. After Dr. Adams left I couldn't get in for a couple weeks. I have never received an explanation of benefits of any kind so I really have no idea what procedures are being done and what the actual charges afor those procedures. I'm not going back. I don't think any of these doctors were going hungry because I couldn't pay $95 for a week or so. I'm not going through that every time I have a visit. It's upsetting and demeaning. This practice appears to be much more concerned with money than with my health. And people wonder why we need healthcare reform?

They've made improvements to parking and the rooms, but the café and food options still need some work. The check-in process for day procedures could also use improvement. It seems they are updating the lobby area as well. The staff is attentive and does their best, and I had a great experience with the ER staff during my last visit. However, the follow-up care after the ER visit could be better. Overall, this hospital is one of the better options in the Austin area. After reading others' reviews and their experiences, I've realized that many of the issues are common across hospitals in the US medical system, not just this one. I am glad we have the doctors of St David's South on my father's medical team. They have given us 16 and counting bonus years.

Despite her visible dehydration and the difficulty staff had establishing an IV, she remained in the ER for approximately four hours without receiving any IV fluids. Before being discharged, she suffered a physical setback, yet she was still sent home. The following day, we were notified that she tested positive for C. diff. It is deeply concerning that a patient in her condition, with what turned out to be a serious infection, was brushed off and discharged while still thirsty and weak. We now have to wait several days to see her primary care physician for follow-up care that should have been initiated or supported by the emergency team. I am disappointed by the lack of effort and the dismissive attitude we encountered during this visit. I would appreciate a review of her case and an explanation as to why standard interventions, such as administering saline fluids, were not provided given her symptoms. We can do better for all patients.
