As my first Libby's experience, I ordered take out with a friend of mine to bring back to my home. The online menu is clear and easy to maneuver, even for those that may be unfamiliar with Thai cuisine. I called and placed my order with a friendly employee, who said it was no issue that we would pay separately once we arrived and that our food would be ready in 15 minutes. Sure enough, when we walked in 15 minutes later we were greeted with a smiling face and our food neatly packaged on the counter awaiting our arrival. She easily split the bill and we were in and out in a matter of a couple minutes. The interior was really cute and I plan on going back when I have more time! Or maybe lunch with coworkers, even, since they are open at 11? Anyway, I got the massaman curry with tofu and not only was it absolutely delicious, but the sheer AMOUNT of food I got was impressive. I eat a lot and it was easily two meals (so now I get to have it again for lunch tomorrow!) and my friend took leftovers home, too. Overall, friendly and quick service, cute atmosphere, very reasonable prices and super delicious Thai food. I will be back! read more

Really good fresh Thai food. Service is reliably good. It is a lovely place to come when you want to enjoy others company as the atmosphere is peaceful, especially if you go at the times of day that are less busy. I have never had a bad meal or experience and my husband and I go there often. So fortunate to have such a good restaurant and good parking. read more

Tonight's meal at Libby's was excellent. As always. We were seated immediately and the staff were fabulous. They are friendly and so very helpful. We ordered appetizers which came quickly and were delicious. The sampler appetizer is great! We had several dishes and ate family style as always so everyone enjoyed some of each dish. The Pad Thai was super and we had it with spicy level 5! Yum! We also had two different curry dishes which were both wonderful. We will be back! read more

Wonderful little Thai Bistro. Service is good even when they are at full capacity, which in the evenings is often. We had the sampler appetizer and it was all very good and I would highly recommend as it gives you a variety of tastes. The green curry chicken was extremely tasty as was the hot pepper dish. My wife has tried the drunken noodle dish and she seemed to enjoy it a lot. If there is something in the dish you do not like simply ask them to take it out or replace it with another item like onions or mushrooms. Usually they have no problems accommodating. Again a great place if you are looking for a Thai fix. Oh, they go up to 5 spice level. I love hot spicy food and I have zero problems with a 4 spice so they won't kill you with too much heat. Be adventurous and try a 2-3 spice. read more

Best Thai food in town! Consistently delicious. Basil fried rice is my fave. And great service from long-time staff.

Really good food...we did take-away last weekend. Our order was pretty much American Thai favorites--Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, Panang curry with chicken. All we're cooked perfectly and tasted great. We put our order in at the counter and went next door for a beer while food was prepared. The experience with the guy who took our order was a little off putting. Being our first time there, we were unfamiliar with the menu and how much we might want to order. This guy was less than helpful when we asked questions. Maybe it was a culture thing...Anyway, not going to let a little rain spoil our day, but it was a little weird. Really enjoyed our dinner and will definitely order from them again. read more

I get takeout from Libby's about once a week. Great Pad See Ew and drunken noodles. Food is really consistent, same every time I go. If you want to dine in, it's nice inside and the service is good. If you like spice, order at least a level 4 as I think they run a little less spicy than some other Thai spots. Overall a great spot and I will keep coming back! read more

Soo very disappointed in this restaurant. To start the staff was very attentive. We took food to go. Ordered California rolls that were served very small and wet!? Was not great, definitely worse than that. We also ordered a beef Lo Mein and asked for a spice/hot level of 7. It was not only served bland as far as spice, but the pasta was waaaay overcooked. Guess they could not handle a Friday night of business. Again, staff was very kind, but no way proved to be a place to dine, especially on the weekend here in St Augustine Florida read more

Service was friendly and attentive. We tried the penang curry, pad thai and the fried rice off from the lunch menu. We also had the thai tea and spring rolls. Everything was yummy, and portion was just right. We didn't even hit the dessert menu yet and was already saying how we'd love to come back and try some other items in the menu. This was my first visit to the Thai Bistro in St Augustine... the atmosphere is very nice, they have tablecloths and the decor is very modern/upscale, and the service was fantastic! We ordered Thai fried rice and Pad Ba mee... I only gave three stars because the egg noodles in the BaMee were literally ramen noodles! which are not my favorite had I known that I would have ordered some other dish, I even asked for rice noodles but was talked out of it by the waiter who said it wouldn't be right with the sauce...the sauce itself was great and the veggies were great, not overcooked not undercooked, but I asked for hoisin sauce on the side and they said they didn't have any which was very surprising!! then we come to the Thai fried rice: it was super plain and boring, it was edible but I would never order it again...anyway I might be back one day to try something else but possibly not :( read more

Wow! Wow! Wow! This is the spot! I actually was going to visit a restaurant in the same location but it was closed. I googled best restaurants nearest me and this little gem came up. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this place if you're in the Saint Augustine area. Worth the drive. read more

Food is ok but they're super unprofessional. They'll tell you your food will be ready in 10 minutes and then take 40, making you stand around for a half hour awkwardly in their small place until they can finally be bothered to get your food to you on a slow night. read more

I was so happy that a Thai place opened up by work...I had to try it out quick! My first experience at Libby's Thai Bistro was a to go order....but I got a good taste of what to expect! I was on a time crunch and needed/wanted a good salad and some veggie rolls. So I placed the order and went to pick up. Staff is friendly and it shows. The inside of the restaurant looks clean and inviting. I ordered the Ginger infused salad and the vegetable spring rolls. The salad was crisp and fresh with a good amount (not overwhelming) of Ginger infused vinaigrette and the Spring rolls were good sized and tasty...I can never get enough of that sweet garlic sauce!!! (Can I order that as a drink? I look forward to sitting at a table next time and having more variety to taste. read more

Finally found a great Thai restaurant in St. Augustine! My wife loves Thai and has been searching for a new place since we moved to St Augustine a few years ago. We met the owner, Pet, who was, to our surprise, the owner of one of our favorite Thai restaurants in Jax Bch, The Thai Room and several others around Jacksonville. She opened this location about seven months ago. The food is fresh and wonderful. The spring rolls are off the charts. Fresh and light. Get you some! read more

Guys, we finally have a Thai restaurant. This is not a drill! This place has it all--friendly and attentive wait staff, variety, and exquisite Thai food. I tried the Thai coffee to star off. It was creamy, sweet, and delicious. My only complaint was that I could drink a million more of those so I wish it was bigger lol. My friend and I then split the sampler to try all of the apps! They were all delicious! My favorite was probably the chicken skewers with peanut sauce and the spring rolls! So fresh and tasty! Before our meals we also decided to try some soup. When I was in Amsterdam last summer I fell in love with Toam Kha soup. The combination of the spice and the sweet coconut and the lemongrass is just to die for. This soup lived up to all my expectations. The vegetables were fresh and the soup was bursting with flavor. For my main meal I had to try the pad Thai. Disclaimer: I'm very picky about my pad Thai. I hate when it is too peanuty or too sweet or too wet or too dry. My GOD this pad Thai was perfect! The portion was so big I had lunch for 2 days after! I left knowing I would be back soon! This place is terrible. There is a very rude man (perhaps the owner) with a mowhawk. The "spicy" drunken noodles where neither spicy nor drunken and tasted like a flavorless pad Thai. Even more flavorless than the actual Pad Thai. The spring rolls were very greasy. I do not recommend if you are a fan of authentic Thai food. read more

Love, love, love this place! I live close to this location so I was hoping for a great local joint - I got what I asked for! I always order the chicken pad Thai because I don't like shrimp. The pad Thai here is always excellent! No shrimp taste in my order ever! They are always prompt and friendly! I've also ordered the satay and it's moist and tender. My husband ordered the Thai fried rice with chicken and shrimp - good sizes of chicken and fresh shrimp! Yum! read more

Wonderful food and great service. We love the fresh spring rolls. We always get those. They are light and refreshing. Our other favorites are the Toam Ka Gai soup, The Amazing, and Pad See Ew. The staff is attentive and friendly. It's great to have this restaurant in St. Augustine. Update November 11, 2019: Libby's is still delicious! I tried the red curry for the first time and it's AMAZING!! We absolutely love this place and are so happy to have them in town. We eat here several times a month and every time it's so good. Finally a great Thai place in St. Augustine! It's located in the Westgate plaza on SR16. This place is just plain delicious. My fiancé got the Chicken Pad Thai, and I got the Yellow Curry at medium heat. Our meals were perfect, we were so surprised and delighted that everything far exceeded any expectations. We also got the Appetizer Sampler, just to get a feel for the food, and we highly recommend that too, the chicken satay and cucumber salad was the star, but the spring rolls and crab rangoons were knockouts as well. Our waiter, Dave, and who I presume to be the manager, Pet, were both so friendly and helpful! We will definitely be frequenting this restaurant. They also do lunch take away. read more
