Fantastic Thai food in St Augustine! We were warmly greeted by the staff. Our server Ringo was so nice and helpful. Truly one of the best/ most balanced Green Curries I've ever had perfect sweet and spice, fluffy rice, nice presentation and I Love that they removed the tails on the shrimp. Just so happened onto this gem, traveling from Vt. I had a hankering for Thai or Asian fusion. Half the tables full was a good sign. Both waiters greeted me and everyone else as we entered. They appear to have many happy regulars who were enjoying their meals. Their familiarity with them made it clear, I was the only first timer there. I wanted curry and chose green curry with chicken, eggplant and many other veggies. Andrew asked if I like heat. I replied I love good heat, just please don't make me cry. OMG it had just the right heat and so much flavor. Huge serving and no room for anything else. Again sorry I'm just passing through, I'm sure my wife would love your duck special. Although on the pricey side, the food is delicious. If you have time to wait for a leisurely meal with elegant ambience, this is the place for you. I ordered Ginger Sticks with tofu in brown sauce with mushrooms and sautéed veggies. The tofu was fried to perfection and my Tom Kha with tofu was creamy goodness and loaded with veggies and mushrooms. My sister wanted yellow curry, which was not on the menu, but they said they would make it for her. However, although it was delicious, it tasted like Penang curry with a little yellow curry powder added. The biggest issue other than somewhat slow, although friendly, service, was the small amount of rice served. However, an extra side of rice was a reasonable $2.00. A little "hole-in-the-wall" restaurant in a strip center, but don't let its subtle outside appearance fool you. Inside it has a subtle elegance; very calm. The staff is efficient and pleasant. Service was pretty fast: water, menus, etc. If you are new to Thai food, the waiter or waitress will offer suggestions about the spice level of your dish. If you are a lover of Thai food, I would suggest a level 3 or higher. My favorite dish is the Amazing Curry. It is a peanut lover's dream....Yum! Even though I live around the corner from Libby's Thai Bistro, it was my first visit. My experience was spectacular. Hubby ordered the chicken pad Thai and I had the shrimp pad Thai. We shared a wonton soup and spring rolls. The wonton soup was delicious. The wontons were delicate and tender not like some think and 'doughy'. The spring rolls were hot and crispy. My shrimp pad Thai was just right. The noodles were not swimming in sauce. The shrimp were jumbo sized and perfectly cooked. My hubby loved his chicken pad Thai as well. In the future, my go to Asian restaurant will be Libby's! read more

Had dinner here with friends last night. The service was wonderful. Our waiter was so friendly and helpful. The food here is always delicious. We started with Libby's Sampler which had chicken satay, shrimp potstickers, crispy egg rolls, Blue Crab Rangoons and shrimp and chicken fresh spring rolls. There were two of everything so we had to cut things in half to share. I had a bowl of the Toam Kha Gai. It was amazing. It was a cream of chicken coconut milk soup filled with fresh mushrooms, sweet bell peppers, onions and Thai basil. The wonton soup was also tasty. The Captain has the Drunken Noodles that were full of garlic, eggs, bell pepper, jalapeños, mushrooms, cashews, scallions, siriracha and Thai basil. He said he would get it a little more spicy next time. It was really good. The Pad Bamee was also delicious. It had egg noodles and broccoli, zucchini, snow peas baby corn bell peppers and onions. This dish was in the sweet side. I shared the Garden vegetables with chicken dish with my friend. It came with some very tasty rice and looked so pretty. All were packed full of flavor and they adjusted the spice to your palate and preference. I wasn't sure what to expect, it's Tuesday, things should be slow at any restaurant, so it seemed this would be the time to adventure into a place we have heard so little about from the public, but a place my family and I drive by often. We arrived around 630pm and the place had quite a few tables occupied,to our surprise, it was a Tuesday night. We were seated right away, and the menus were passed out. The Decour was classic simply classic, elegant and nice, but classic wouldn't feel uncomfortable if you came casual or if you were dressed up. They had quite a few tables for two tables and four, a circle table at the front for maybe eight people. Cloth napkins and silverware with water glasses at each table. I watch as the waiter cleaned a table next to us and was still using Covid guidelines to clean. The table clothes were vinyl but I had a hard time telling them apart from cloth, it was definitely a high end vinyl. The select was outstanding but I have to admit I was reluctant at first because good Thai food is really hard to come by here, but just let me say this you will be pleasantly surprised. The menu had a great selection to choose from and my daughter just love the tofu. There are maybe 10 to 15 tables here and I would say maybe 5 tables had customers which I would say is a good sign for a small place on a tuesday nite when we walk in. But when we left there was standing room only. To me that says a lot about place on a Tuesday night. Here is a list of thing we had tofu,egg rolls, chicken soup and a lovely ginger fresh salad also we had bang bang shrimp. Everything was outstanding and you could tell most of people that filled the tables are repeat customers We will be back with friends shortly. My only regret was I should have tried it sooner. I've dined solo as well as with large groups, and watched them impress even the finickier among us with their tasty dishes. I've occasionally gotten takeout, but honestly, the chef's plating skills are good enough that I prefer waiting until I have the time to dine inside and take it all in. The lunch portion sizes are perfect, so I don't leave hungry or in a food coma. I've also found a high level of overall consistency in dishes that I've ordered over time, which I very much appreciate. If I don't give it much thought, I'll order the Amazing, which is a peanut curry sauce with a choice of protein. It lays all kinds of goodness on my taste buds! But it is a heavier sauce that can scream 'calories' at you in saner moments, so... moderation! Panang curry is another favorite, as is the entree sized ginger infused salad with chicken. Of course, hit the Tom Ka Gha soup when it's cold outside. Today's adventure did include the mixed vegetables with vegetables, which was a fine choice.
