I started going here in Jan 2024. My nail tech is Iryna from day one. First I came for only a pedicure and truthfully, I didn't know what to expect because I've never had a Russian pedicure, the result was amazing. Iryna is so detailed oriented, she really makes sure the dead skin is out and the nail bed is nice and clean. After seeing the results I wanted a manicure, however couldn't be done that same day but Iryna scheduled me for the next day and got my nails done too. They were so short and I didn't like the size Iryna assured me that my nails will grow and to give it time and that's what I did. This is my 4th manicure and I absolutely love it. I cannot go back to regular gel or powder again in my life. I will continue going here it's worth the price and the travel. Everyone is cool and friendly. Level Up was referred to me by Leah, the owner of Waxapeel directly across from them. They are by appointment only so I was so lucky to be able to get in that day. I've been here 4 or 5 times now and every time I've had a great experience. They take their time with each client, the environment is spacious and very clean and I love the cell phone stands they have and a spot to stash your purse so it doesn't have to go on the floor. They are more expensive than your regular nail salon but it is so worth it. A regular gel manicure would last me 7-10 days if that before I would get chips or cracks in it. Now, I'm going once a month when they start growing out. So for me, it's worth it. I don't know what their magical concoction is but my nails that were so thin, damaged and fragile, are growing long for the first time and getting so much stronger and healthier! First time ever getting a Russian Manicure and definitely won't be my last. Upon arrival I was greeted by everyone in the suite even if they were tending to other clients. Gina was my technician and as it was my first visit she was super informative and very knowledgeable. I don't have a before as I completely forgot to take a photo. lol during the cleanup process Gina constantly checked in to see if I was comfortable if anything hurt or just making sure I was ok and my needs were met. I got a hard gel manicure done by Stephanie Velazquez on 13 January 2024. Stephanie is AMAZING. I have been doing hard gel e-file manicures for about 4 years now and have gone to some very talented manicurists/nail designers, but Stephanie gave me the best manicure and nail set I have ever had! Her work is truly impeccable. She does not take any shortcuts, she is very attentive to every single detail, she listens to what you ask for (she asked me to check my nails at various moments during the manicure, to check nail size, shape, polish application). She also helped me decide on the base color to which me applied chrome, in order to achieve the color of the inspiration photo I showed her. The result is what you see in the pictures (and it's even more stunning in real life!). In the side photo, note how thin the nails turned out: this is very difficult to achieve, and Stephanie had ALL my nails looking like that. Also, I went from a square shape to a round and her nail shaping skills are incredible! I loved it and will be going back to her regularly. If you have not tried hard gel e-file manicure, I highly recommend you have your first experience with Stephanie - you won't regret it! read more

Once back home I began searching for a salon that offered the same service and was thrilled to find the newly opened Level Up salon. Hands down THE BEST manicure ever! As others have mentioned, this is a dry manicure and their process is meticulous and immaculate. Irina has done my nails for the past few months and the care and time she takes is reflected in how beautiful my nails look and how LONG the manicure lasts--4 weeks! I recently had my first appt at Level Up. While the finished product looks nice, I am disappointed by the amount of time it took. I reached the salon on time for my appt, but was told they were running 20 min behind. In addition, once the nail tech started my manicure, it took over 2 hours. I did not plan to be in the salon for 2.5 hours, especially since I was told on the phone a few days prior that each appt takes 1 hr 40 min. The nail tech also made my nails much shorter than what I asked for. I was hoping management would offer a small discount for the inconvenience of them running late and the manicure taking longer than what I was told; however, unfortunately, nothing was offered when I was paying. I would like to give them a second chance, but when one is paying top dollar for a specialized manicure, one would also expect that the overall customer service be top notch. read more

I wanted to start off by saying I had very high hopes going into my appointment. I read all the reviews, saw how long my sisters nails lasted with this type of manicure at another salon and needed my nails to last longer than a standard gel manicure. I was going on vacation so I figured I'd give it a shot. My nail tech nomi was very meticulous and took her time. I spent around $107 for a hard gel manure with chrome on top. I figured it wasn't a bad investment because it was going to last me weeks, as my standard gel manicure last over 3 weeks. Well after 3 days the chrome started to chip off.. which I've never experienced before, and then 4 days after the manicure the nail color started to lift to the point that it could be peeled off. Highly disappointing as k was on vacation, paid $107 for a manicure that looked good for 3 days. Looking at the past reviews I don't believe the business or other nail techs have this issue, but maybe just the nail tech I went to. But to pay over $100 for a sub par manicure that only lasted 3 days is ridiculous. read more

I've been going to Level Up since January 2024, and these ladies have entirely transformed my nail experience. I've never had nails that looked this good before. They spend over 1.5 hours providing a thorough manicure. I've been getting manicures for over 25 years, and this is the first time I haven't needed to go home and fix mistakes that were made to my nails. The attention to detail is well worth the time and drive for me. I don't need a massage; those extra things are unnecessary. The precision of the preparation and polish means more to me. I'm willing to continue driving 35 minutes to see these ladies every 4-6 weeks because of their quality, care, and attention to detail. If you're looking for a 1-hour manicure with sloppy preparation and polish and a hand massage, I recommend going elsewhere.
