I came here hopeful because the reviews were overwhelmingly positive. The nail technicians were very nice; however, the technician who did my jelly gel manicure unfortunately did not appear to be experienced with this type of service. At the end of my appointment, I pointed out that four of my nails were rough on the corners and asked if she could file them, which she did. I also mentioned that my nails did not look like a jelly manicure. Jelly nails should have a translucent, glossy, almost Jell-O-like appearance, while mine looked matte. Another technician told me the matte appearance was because I had lotion on my hands. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but when I got home, I thoroughly washed my hands and my nails were still matte. I also noticed that my middle nail was unusually thick and uneven at the tip. I returned the following day to give the salon an opportunity to address my concerns. They buffed them with a cloth that gave it more shine but it was still not a jelly manicure. Unfortunately, I was given several different explanations--first that it was because two coats had been applied, and then that my "nail beds must be dark." I honestly had no idea what that was supposed to mean, and by that point, I felt insulted and frustrated by the excuses rather than feeling that my concerns were being heard. They did offer to redo my nails if I was willing to wait, but at that point, I was simply done with the experience. Unfortunately, I will not be returning, which is disappointing because I genuinely wanted to like this salon.
The team was friendly and the salon was clean and calm, but I wasn't happy with how my gel manicure turned out. There's a noticeable line across my nails that I was hoping would be smoother they said it was due to a past manicure. The sheer polish doesn't cover it.
Shoutout to Sophia! I loved my nails and they have so many color options that other salons don't have for no extra charge. Really clean environment and friendly staff.
I just moved to Lafayette this year and it has been so hard to find a salon that really understands nail shape or can deliver exactly what I'm looking for. David at Glamour Nail Salon absolutely exceeded my expectations. He took the time to look at my nails, explain what shape would look best, and walk me through how we could achieve the look I wanted. And he did exactly that! My nails came out perfect, and I'm so happy to finally have found someone I can trust. I'll definitely be coming back to David regularly for fills. If you're looking for someone skilled, detail-oriented, and genuinely helpful, definitely go support his new location - he's fantastic!

I'm thrilled to be returning to Glamor Salon Spa after all these years! I first started going back in 2017, but life took me to a closer salon in Lafayette. After trying others I realized no one does my nails as beautifully as they do here! They take their time and they communicate well when it comes to the design & they are so attention to detail!The couple who runs it is the sweetest--you'll have the most fun, warm conversations, and it always feels like home. In fact the owners wife remembered I used to microblade and that was back in 2022 They take real time and care with every detail. The quality is absolutely worth every dollar. If you want gorgeous nails and a heartfelt experience, this is the place!
My mom, sister, and I came here the day before Easter, and the other salons we called were booked, but they were able to fit us into their schedule quickly. My mom and I got gel manicures and my sister got a kids manicure. Sophia took the time to file my nails so they were all even lengths and shape. The staff also helped my sister find a color she was happy with, since she could not do gel polish because of school. Overall, relaxing and felt welcomed, I will be back.
Best nail salon I've been to in over 4 years! The staff was incredibly friendly, and the salon itself was spotless. My nails turned out perfect and my toes looked just as amazing. As a perfectionist (and a nail tech myself), I rarely get my nails done because I usually leave feeling like something could have been better. This time was completely different. My mom and I got our nails done by David this morning. From the moment we walked in, everyone had a welcoming spirit and helpful attitude. We walked out in less than an hour and a half with a beautiful fresh full set of nails and a pedicure. Lovely environment, definitely going to continue going there. If your looking for a clean, friendly, and great service, I do recommend coming to Glamour nails. I had such a great experience at this brand-new nail salon! The whole place smells so clean and fresh, and the atmosphere is super welcoming. Everyone there is incredibly friendly and attentive from the moment you walk in. Got my Gel-X nails done by David and had a great experience! I called this morning and he booked me for a Gel-X manicure and gel pedicure within the hour. David did an amazing job on my nails while Kate handled my pedicure at the same time. They were both so kind and quick--I was finished in under an hour! I went for a classic pedicure and booked my daughter for a celebratory set of acrylic This is a brand new nail salon , they opens a month ago and are busy painting the sample colors. Mike was in charge of my pedicure and did such a thorough job. I hav deep groove toe nails and not the prettiest- he took so much care and attention. The set of acrylic were skillfully applied. All the products used were brand new in original packaging - no diluted shenanigans as I experienced in other places. Super practical location. Warm welcome by all staff.
