The bakery had so many cookies on display, so many different variations of Brioche, Cake Slides, Baguette, Muffins that I didn't know existed. I've been to all of these locations and I have to admit that I like it, but don't love it. It's a good cookie, but I tend to prefer a thin and chewy cookie to their thick boys. While I normally give Levain a four star review due to my personal tastes/preferences, I had a five star experience today and I wanted to give them recognition. Their seasonal "coffee toffee" flavor (ending soon as it's a winter flavor) is an extraordinarily good cookie flavor and I hope to see it come back on the menu. I would order this again if I saw it and I wanted to put it out there. Second, the staff was really nice and helpful. I only bought one cookie (since these cookies are dense/heavy) and they heated it up for me, which made the great cookie taste even better.
